Such a lovely place! I happened to stumble upon somebody else's personal tour and was given one of the best tours I've had in recent memory. The docent was a knowledgeable and lovely person, much of the building had been restored, and what hadn't been restored had a charm about that is not something you can find normally. Absolutely worth the appointment!

This is a great local historical house and grounds. You can also see the restoration work in progress. This is a beautiful place to visit with a relaxed atmosphere. The guides are quite knowledgeable.

Neat historical place. Went there to but a 19th century claw foot tub..they were filming a show for Travel Channel.

A diamond in the rough. reminds me of Drayton Hall in Charleston. It has so much of its construction detail to enjoy without the clutter of furnishings.
