The rooms are really. Ice for the price the pool was nice as well and the breakfast was great.... Front desk worker were kind and my out of town guess were very happy with the stay over all

My room, 131, was very clean, air conditioner is excellent, and the bed, very comfortable. Nice flat screen TV and remote. Nice to have a microwave and refrigerator, though I didn't use them this time. The free included breakfast is wonderful. Hot scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereals, toast, and a coffee machine that makes lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, etc.

Smell good hotel and rooms. Minor upgrades needed. Need a better waffle batter. Should institute a reservation transfer option with upcharge/downgrade to match the current location rate.

The room was clean and had what we needed with small appliances. The bed was SO comfortable!! I have a fractured back and have not been able to sleep comfortably for over a month! I slept like a baby on that mattress. If possible I would really like to know what the topper is as I would love one for home.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was hot and tasty. I will stay here again.

Great room with great shower and even better tv selections. 🙏Stayed just for one night (on some work ish) but will definitely be back on my own. Beautiful staff who loved the way I smelled (420) lls. Now for the the breakfast. Waffles 💯 but thats all they got. Muffins (🫐 & 🍌), yogurt (🍓 🍌), bagels, bread, juice and coffee. Cream cheese, butter, syrup, creamer and sugar. ONLY $102 FOR THE NIGHT, DOUBLE BEDS, NON SMOKING, WALK IN SHOWER AND CLEAN. Couldn't ask for more but some bacon, eggs and sausage. 🥓🍳🤷‍♂

2 day family stay in-between moving out from one place and wait for the other to be ready my family and I enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the indoor pool, hot tub, and free breakfast. Clean and newly remodeled since we last stayed here. Very pleased and will be back again. Always my first choice

Hotel is located in a good area except for the fire station less than a block away which makes runs several times a night waking me up all hours of the night and early morning hrs. Room was clean but needs a little updating. Air conditioner front was broken and just barely hanging on

All employees are super friendly and helpful. I've stayed for many reasons & everytime they help make it close to home.

This is the only hotel in the area and that I go to first and I'm able to enjoy my experience in a nice clean comfortable updated room. The hotel staff is very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for you, and I never have to worry about my room not being clean. Thank God for this sleeping and sweets and to top it off they're also a choice privileges hotel, so I can add up my points each time I come into town and use that if I ever need a ride or something.Î

The rooms were really lovely, but it was the staff that made my stay special. I got sick while I was visiting, and everyone, particularly the day manager, was extremely helpful.

I go here constantly. Other places are questionable but this one doesn't have bed bugs or any bugs. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Requeat cleaning, not mentioned but it's mentioned on their app. Also, traffic isn't that bad here unlike Newport News and that area across the bridge. Pro life tip: use the app. It's cheaper:)

The Staff is so AWESOME, by staff, I mean housekeeping and maintenance!! They are very nice and go out of their way to make sure you have whatever you need. The rooms we have had have been great and VERY comfortable!! We haven't had any bad experiences since we've been here. With any way of " hotel" life, you hear a few loud guests from time to time, but they monitor everything and always make us feel welcomed!! You can tell when people enjoy their jobs versus just being there for a paycheck. This staff takes pride in their work as far as I am concerned. I have read other reviews, and have to say with the negative reviews, I do not feel the same. It's been a very positive experience altogether so far!! I give them a high five and a big God Bless and many thank yous for all they do!! 🖐🙏👍!!!

We were in yhe middle of everything. A few minutes to Virginia Beach. The food was good also. Staff very friendly and helpful

My only complaint. I was there because we had a house fire. The inspectors would give us a move in date,then we'd be delayed. The managers wife new our circumstance but would not work with us on the charge. Would not give us weekly rates.

My children and I love this hotel, very clean staff is exceptionally wonderful. Teresa was extremely wonderful with such a pleasant and gracious smile. We will come here everytime we are in the Chesapeake area.

We used the conference room for my daughter’s college graduation party. The desk person Theresa was excellent, professional, and helpful from the initial phone conversation to the time she finished her shift during our party time slot. We didn’t feel pressured to adhere to a lot of unreasonable rules like some venues have in place. They let us play light music , we had roughly 20 guests in the room, and we were able to decorate and serve food with out any feelings of being watched or interfered with. When the party was over we were in the process of cleaning up, the manager told us don’t worry about sweeping…just make sure all of the food is picked up. We took down all the decorations put the trash in trash bags and left them there because he said his staff would handle the rest. It was an amazing experience at a great price! I recommend anyone seeking space for a small party venue look into Sleep Inn & Suites Portsmouth/Chesapeake Va.

Stayed here with my husband over the weekend celebrating our first anniversary in the area and we both felt the hotel was great. Anything we needed was provided, the people were friendly, room was nice (we wanted to take the bed with us). Nothing in our room broken or dirty. The eggs at breakfast were awesome. Pool and hot tub there but we didn't get a chance to use. Had some stray cats on the property and I named a friendly one Marble Cake 😁. Great weekend stay.

My grandson had his birthday there with his 3 friends.... The room was beautiful, clean and the sheets we're nice and WHITE,!!! The bathroom had a great walk-;in shower, I prefer those in a hotel unless it's a very expensive hotel then I would live a soak in tub. But the staff was polite, friendly and I would definitely go back. 5 stars from me!!! 100% better then ANY of the hotels around it.
