The Pier FV

When we arrived, there was a hostess stand outside with the menu posted. The prices were reasonable and the choices were good. We were told the wait would be 30 mins. The place was packed. We decided to wait. It was a 90th birthday celebration for my uncle. Some chairs were available at the bar so we grabbed some seats and some bar patrons offered to move over so we could sit together at the bar. When they found it my uncles 90th the customers bought him a drink. It made his night. We were sat about the time quoted. Luis R was our waiter. He was terrific and made the night really fun. He knew the menu well and gave mouth-watering descriptions of the menu items. He was efficient and smiling and funny. I couldn't have wish the night to go any better and then Luis R brought my uncle another drink a different customer bought for him. My uncle was grinning ear to ear. We all had a wonderful night with delicious food. We definitely will return.

The Pier is one of - if not, my favorite spot in Punta gorda. The Pier is in an excellent location and always has an exquisite menu with fair pricing. The service is typically great. Id recommend eating outside more than inside any day, especially during golden hour. The ambience around 5:00-6:00PM is amazing, seeing the sunset, eating sushi, and drinking your favorite beverage. What more could you ask for?

We have been here twice in one week for lunch and dinner. Both times they had to fix something with our food. The flavors are great and I recommend the green beans. (They are made with real butter) 🤯 The employees are great all the way around. We will be back.

Ate outside for the sunset view. We had coconut shrimp, Angel roll, Cali roll for apps. All was delicious! The rolls were cut a tad thinner the. I am accustomed to but no. the less very good. The burger was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The gator bites are tender. The Pole bowls look beautiful everyone who ordered one cleaned their bowls!! Service was excellent. I plan to return and try a Poke bowl.

We tried it for the first time tonight, and absolutely loved it! Everything was so fresh and delicious! My husband definitely loves, sushi and ordered the tuna bowl and said it was one of the best he’s had in quite a while-super fresh!! We ordered the calamari for appetizer, and it was quite incredible with a sweet twist to it. I had the braised beef which had lots of flavor and fall apart tender. The real highlight was having Kelly as our server who was an absolute delight To say the least! She had such a great personality and super engaging! 🩷
We also got to meet Tyler the manager, and truly wanted to make sure your experience was the best! And anyone that could honestly say that the food is not good here… I would have to gauge that they have seriously lost their taste buds —for real! 😳

Fantastic dinner! We got the drink special of a smoked old fashioned flight. My husband had the ribeye and I got two sushi rolls, which were some of the yummiest I've ever gotten. One had coconut siracha and a sliver of kiwi and could have been dessert. Best place to get dinner in Fisherman's Village!

Connor was our server, and he was so absolutely personal! He gave us great recommendations on what to eat and drink. The view was impeccable. Service was phenomenal. Dishes were very reasonably priced. It’s about $20 a plate here.

Best sushi ever! We ordered four to share but could have ordered more. Before that, the appetizers - crab ragoon dip and tuna nachos were so good. Our server was excellent and the view of the water beautiful. We did sit inside because it was very windy and getting quite cool at sundown.

Had lunner (lunch/dinner) at The Pier in Punta Gorda. We sat outside by the water because the weather was awesome today. Started with the pork won ton nachos and they were very tasty. Generous portions too. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had a French Polynesian. Both were excellent. Next we had the grilled Mahi and braised short ribs. Again both were very good and tasty. The short ribs were tender and flavorful. Finally we had the Bananas Foster cheesecake and the Espresso Mousse pie. Both were excellent. Our waiter Connor was awesome and he carmelized the Bananas Foster cheesecake at our table. My wife and I had a wonderful lunner!

Had a great time with the family here. Food was delicious, bathroom was clean, & our waitress was a very kind and well mannered young lady. Thank you!

Amazingly delicious. Our server, Mark, did a good job especially considering they were short on serving staff. Be patient. A bit pricey but prices everywhere are up. Hawaii 5-O Roll was so delicious. Thai sauce Dusted Calamari was superb! It's the best I've had in this area. It will be a staple I order each time I'm there. Great outdoor seating along the harbor .

one word AMAZING! A little pricey in my opinion but it is worth every penny. I ordered the Raw Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. The tuna tasted so good and so did the rice. The crab dip appetizer was great and their sushi rolls were amazing as well. I totally recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi but they have more options if you don’t like fish either. The service is also great, our waitress was so sweet and the food came out fast! Great experience!!

OMG - how have I missed this gem at Fishermen's Village? The cocktails are hand crafted with love and the food - so special with bam!

We were seated right away tonight with our 2 children. Our server, Andrew, was very attentive, personable and kind to our kids. In fact, everyone there was, from the hostesses to the food runners, all so sweet! The food was better than I imagined. Their wasabi cream and coconut Sriracha sauces were fantastic. We had the Pork Won Ton Nachos for an app. which were crispy and light. My husband and I each had bowls and our kids had the chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. Their Mac and cheese is made in house and honestly was top notch! Highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again!

Went for dinner on Easter, 1st time sitting at the bar inside as it had rained heavily today, Nick and Heidi were awesome, drinks VERY good, sushi fresh, calamari the BEST, pineapple upside down cake yummy and we let the manager Paul know what a great experience we had as usual here.

Our group of four visited The Pier for dinner on Friday night and had an amazing meal. Everyone was extremely happy with their choices. An order of spicy tuna maki and the Shaka roll (coconut shrimp!) started us off and set the tone for a great meal. We had the greens salad with salmon-super fresh veggies with a light coconut-cream style dressing with perfectly cooked salmon. Another opted for the Brussel sprout salad with chicken with again then freshest choices of veggies and lemon poppyseed dressing. The braised short rib looked amazing and was devoured within minutes as well as the grouper sandwich which our companions said are there go to meals every time they visit. The drinks came quickly (and often!!) and there were no complaints with the service. Top top it off we watched the sunset over our espresso martinis. Overall a great choice and on our list for our next visit! Highly recommend and would give six stars!

This is one of my favorite places. It looked as though the menu changed some since my last visit, but it was DELICIOUS! Alexis was a Delight! Wonderful Mothers Day lunch and cocktails. They even gave my mother a red rose.

Ambiance, food, and service…. borders on being pampered …. Among the best sushi I have ever had…. Picking a menu item was a real challenge… looking around at other patrons plates made a selection almost impossible… everything was presented perfectly… If I could have given SIX stars I would have.

This is my go to place when at Fishermans village when I’m craving sea food. I have consistently received great service while there. Most recently Amber served us. When you leave giving your server a hug you know it was a great experience. 💋

Loved my visit to The Pier!! Sat at the bar and had quick service, but not rushed. Excellent drinks - loved the espresso martini!! Pretty view of the water, quiet (compared to a couple nearby places) and you had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Tuna Poke bowl and potstickers were delicious!! Loved the wasabi sauce on the potstickers, yum! Bartender/server was so friendly, helpful with choices. I definitely recommend this place!
