The Backroom Salon

The young lady that had cut my hair for 5+ years recently relocated. I began looking into different salons to find that special salon again. I read the reviews on the Back Room Salon and decided to give them a try. I walked in, without an appointment, and was pleasantly surprised that they took me right in. Miss Noelle was wonderful and I was treated as if we had been friends for years. Miss Noelle did a fantastic job, listening to what I wanted and she came through. I have found my new special salon. Thank you to Miss Noelle and her friendly staff for making me feel at home.

Noelle and Amanda did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair. I was referred to her and this was my first visit and I will definitely be back (already booked my next appt). They were both so super friendly, very knowledgeable, took the time to understand and listen to me. I would 100% recommend!!

I have long hair and was wary because some people don’t know how to handle that and are quick to chop it off. Deborah was great and listened well, taking less off than I asked before the final cut. I will definitely be back for my next haircut!

Noelle and Amanda are awesome! Love that when you come in here, you are dealing with an expert who confidently shares what you should do or just knows exactly what you want. So much fun spending a couple hours here. My 5 year old also got a haircut and on the way home, he asked “when we can go get haircuts again?” Thanks ladies!!!

I’ve been going to Noelle for years now, even with time away she always gives me the best service and pricing when I go back. She’s patient, informational, and kind. I could never thank her enough for doing my hair for my wedding 3 years ago, and all the work she’s put in taking my stubborn hair blonde. She always has her clients best interest at heart and will do anything to make them happy.

I would like to give a huge shout out to Noelle. Every time she does my wife’s hair she comes home feeling beautiful. Noelle treats her hair good so that she doesn’t damage it when coloring it. Her prices are great for the work and the high quality products used. The fact that she offers late appointments is a huge bonus as well; not many salons offer that. I’ve been going to Noelle for years and she always dose an amazing job. I haven’t found anyone as professional and reasonably priced as her. I always get my hair done purple and she is the only stylist I’ve found who can give me a long lasting color. I go in every 2 months in between coloring and the purple still looks great when I come back in. Looking forward to my next visit!

Fabulous Style! I have very difficult hair to cut because it is baby fine and shows every scissor mark. Noelle point cuts beautifully. I have known her personally for many years, and appreciate that she gives back to the community she serves in so many ways. I highly recommend Noelle!

When I first went to Noelle my hair was destroyed from a person with "years" of experience. It was literally army green in some places, broken, weak and not at all like my usually bouncy curly hair. Noelle worked miracles and got me looking amazing.

Fast forward a few years I wanted to try a curly cut by Angel and she did not disappoint. Both of these ladies are incredible at what they do. This is a fun group of ladies who are amazing at what they do.

I really loved this hair salon. I took my daughter for a wash and cut they went above and beyond. They gave her braids for the first day of school. I will always go back from now on can't wait to book a appointment for my hair this week.

I've been having issues finding someone to cut naturally curly hair properly for years. Noelle is great with color and does an amazing job cutting my hair. I've only been twice but I am now a permanent customer.

This was the first time I have been to this salon and it was a great experience. Everyone was very nice and the salon was very clean. I haven't had my hair cut in 3 years and was very nervous but Noelle and Amanda made sure i loved my hair before i left. It is also the most affordable salon i have seen. I have definitely found the salon i will be going to from now on.

She does amazing hair definitely recommend anyone in or near the Sanford area!!! Personalizes her services by just being herself with her amazing personality!!! My daughter-in-law made the appointment for me. I was leery. She said it was called The Black Room Salon. Well relief it's the Backroom Salon. I was a beautician many years ago. So much has changed. can't thank Amanda McDonald enough for the amazing job she did for my sister and myself for my sister's wedding day. Our original hair stylist booked for the wedding went MIA (completely different company) the day before the wedding, so I put a request out for recommendations for someone to do our hair. Amanda responded within 10 minutes of my post and showed up the next day prepped and ready to go. She did an AMAZING JOB!!!!! My sister and I were beyond thrilled with her services. I will definitely be using her again.
