FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - Port Charlotte

I have attended the Port Charlotte Center about two different times and was very impressed with the caring staff and the separate gym they shared together. The staff took interest in hearing my concerns and really help me gain confidence in pushing toward my goal.

I am presently being treated at the North Fort Myers location for reverse shoulder replacement surgery. The therapists are very knowledgeable and explain not only how to do an exercise but what muscle needs to be worked on and why. I really like that I do not always have the same therapist with each appointment because each therapist will give me a new exercise or two. I can mix up my exercise routine at FYZICAL and at home. Everyone from the front desk to the therapists are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the North Fort Myers location.
I want to add that I received therapy in a rehab and at home before I went to outpatient therapy at Fyzical; not a good choice on my part. I hope I don’t break any more bones but if I do I will choose outpatient at Fyzical right away.

After two hip replacements and a recent
double arm fracture, I suffered from loss of balance, pain and weakness. I went to Fyzical on Metro in Fort Myers and was evaluated and had a tour of their new to me
system of ceiling straps that work like a parachute and hold you up to learn balance and proper walking again - in my case.
I had a great recovery and the constant pain was reduced to a minimal ache due to
inclement weather. A happy ending - until
I fell in my own backyard and shattered my
shoulder. The operation was a success, but I need major PT with the help of trained therapists. I will start in July, with the hope they can provide a full recovery. And I know this means work on my part, but I will be able to drive again and walk much better.
At first I laughed at the name but soon knew I was in the healing place I needed.

Went for tmj physical therapy years ago and it worked tremendously. Back again after lots of dental work. Great staff from start to finish!

After approximately 5 plus months of physical therapy at their Sarasota location on Shade near University with Yasmine and Frank I’m getting close to having my knee back to normal. There were many complications after my knee replacement surgery but thanks to the amazing patience and perseverance of Frank and Yasmine and the scheduling of Bree I have recovered.
Thanks to all of you for pushing me and encouraging me. I am forever grateful.

Nice , spacious , clean place , friendly staff - very professional. My husband and I - had a positive experience here . Dr. Wayne and his staff are wonderful. Jennifer , the receptionist is very kind, welcoming and professional. We highly recommend this facility.

The physical therapist at this location have made such a difference in my life. In December I got into a car accident and my Chiropractor told me about Fyzical. I started my sessions in April barely able to walk and had my last visit today being able to almost triple my walking distance. I mostly saw a physical therapist named Savannah. She is absolutely amazing, kind, caring, and gentle. Every session I had with her felt like a yoga session because she was so calming. Thank you again so much for giving me my life back.

I wandered in as a snowbird, not knowing exactly what to expect. What I got was the best Physical Therapy experience I've ever had.
Loved my therapist, Heather, she took me a long way to being well in a very short period of time. It was no easy task for her, I was in pretty bad shape after a car hit me in a parking lot.

Update:
Unfortunately, the billing center was not quite as able to find where they had been paid twice for a single co-payment, so I'm out a few dollars. No big deal, but it's irritating nonetheless.
I still loved the therapy I received at this location!

Excellent facility and staff. They get results in the most professional manner. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. We visited several local physical therapy establishments before choosing, none met their all around standards.

Lydia was an amazing Physical Therapist. She provided my 7 year old daughter with the best care and exercises for her newly healed broken elbow. Her range of motion after it healed and cast came off was just not very much. Lydia helped a great deal and got her range of motion a great deal better. She is caring and professional and very knowledgeable and we would recommend her and the whole Fyzical establishment in Port Charlotte to any of our friends or family needing therapy. Pretty cool gym too! Thank you Lydia and staff so much, you all were amazing.

I am so grateful for the therapy I received from everyone especially Ashley and Kevin I was not upright when I came to them and after all of the exercises, support and tough love I am upright and walking. I just can't say enough about there professionalism and kindness.

I would like to thank Dr.Virginia Reed and Dr. Katherine Hawk for the excellent care and treatment they gave to my 87 year old father in helping him with his severe vertigo. I was driving from Sarasota for my dad to receive this treatment. I owe a big thank you to Dr. Kaur @ Fyzical in Sarasota for her dedication and getting my dad to a facility that offered the epilay chair as the standard protocol was not working. Once in Ft. Myers we were greeted by such friendly staff. Dr. Reed and Dr. Hawk thought it best to try maneuvers without the chair. I'm thankful they did. After the 3rd visit he was much improved and could return to Dr. Kaur in Sarasota for balance training. What a wonderful group of doctors and we truly thank you for the wonderful care. The therapists there are superb; very attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. They listen to what you tell them, and actually change their approach to fit your needs. I was getting electrical stimulation therapy so I bought my own TENS unit, and Savannah helped me learn which settings to try for my particular problem. Would definitely recommend.

Our doctor recommended pt for back pain that might be a deep muscle pain. Second week of their pt exercises accomplished there along with “ take home” exercises to help continue the exercises.
Able to talk what really hurts and is bothering
you in pain along with pain level.
A complete gym type therapy building which so far I have not used or needed yet. Perhaps as more weeks continue, might use. Have not inquired yet how one becomes a member even if such exists.
Will ask on my next visit.
As a patient I am seen 3 days a week for rest of February, partial March. Depending on progress
I assume for time present.
Thoroughly happy with results so far. Always leave feeling less pain than upon entering for scheduled appointments of the day

I just finished my out patient rehab for my hip replacement. It was an excellent experience right from the beginning with Althea at the desk being so friendly and helpful. Each of the therapists were thorough and caring. I would completely recommend them for anyone in need.

Awesome staff at this location. Everybody was professional. We always started on time. The facility is very clean. I was pushed to improve my mobility. And I did.. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy and will go back if ever needed. This was at the Murdock location across from Sam's.

I can't say enough about my experience at Fyzical in Port Charlotte. Dr Wayne Goffin and all of the physical therapists in the practice are knowledgeable, caring and friendly. They listen to your feedback and incorporate it in ongoing therapy plans. Always striking the perfect balance of support and encouragement. They educate you each step of the way offering techniques and tips for improved outcomes. After only several sessions I can honestly see some positive gains and feel hopeful about a stronger healthier future. I would highly recommend Wayne Goffin and the entire team for anyone in need of physical therapy.

excellent personal attention to my needs. Therapist zoomed in on the area
I needed to work on, gave me the stretches I needed to do,and practiced them with me. She put in the correct lifts in my shoe to help me walk correctly which I will have to practice to have my muscles re program themselves. Great instructor.
