Tru by Hilton Savannah Midtown

My first time staying at a Tru by Hilton and it will not be my last. The staff is very nice and helpful. It was cool to see a pool table that guest can use. Also very clean room!

This was my first time staying at Tru. I’m impressed.. kind staff, very clean modern decor, I love the soap & shampoo, bottles due to easy of use. The brand is so thoughtful to put your name on the tv screen with a welcoming not. The beds are extra comfy and the sheets are so soft.. Miles Holcomb at the Savannah Middletown location helped us find sites to see and great restaurants. Thank you Hilton keep up the good work I’ll see you soon

Stayed here for a quick weekend get away, I’m incredibly impressed with how clean the rooms were as well as the service. We are not picky people, but they had gone above our standards for hotel stays. The beds are extremely comfortable, did I mention CLEANLINESS.
Location is a few minute drive to downtown, but for the price, and quality id say it was worth it and we will be back!

Very pleased with the hotel, staff, and service.
Location: The location is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping stores. Easy to get in and out of the location.
Parking: Parking is free which is not common with some hotels now and it was plenty of available parking spots.
Check-in and Check- out: Both Check in and check out were quick and smooth and even got a welcome gift (water and popcorn). The guy who checked was in was really friendly.
Hotel: The hotel lobby is really pretty and different and has some amenities such as a pool table and coffee is available all day.
Rooms: The rooms were a lot bigger than I excepted. There was a refrigerator in the room. It was a sandwich still in there from a previous guest I guess. They was plenty of lights and outlets. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean so I was happy with that. There wasn't a (closed in) closet for your clotjes but there is a rod and hangers (no big deal for this trip). The only issue we had with the room was it was very hot because we kept changing the temperature on the thermostat on the wall but it was the one near the window that needed changing. Once we figured that out the room temperature was fine. The bathroom was clean and a nice size and they provided soap, shampoo, conditioner.
Breakfast: Breakfast was really good and there were a lot of options. The food was stocked and fresh. The staff was friendly at breakfast as well as the cleaning staff and the front desk staff.

I'll definitely stay here again!

Perfect place when traveling with a pooch. Very friendly staff, convenient outdoor dog area, very clean lobby and room, and really good coffee all day. Super convenient location near the mall. So easy to get to all the things we did in Savannah. Free parking was a plus.

Welcoming staff and loved the personalized welcome message on the TV screen. Clean rooms, linen, and AC maintained at optimal temperature even before we entered the room - making us feel welcomed.

Good breakfast, parking - both complementary

Another unique thing here that we noticed was that there were no soap and shampoo plastic sachets. This is also an eco-friendly move , and we could use it as per need and not be restricted on the size of the sachets provided . Would definitely recommend it for people visiting Savannah!

This hotel was definitely one of the best ! I had previously stayed in a way more expensive hotel and didn’t get half the service there that I got here . The staff was very kind and pleasant ! The rooms were large and comfortable, the sheets and linen smelled amazing ! We had complementary snacks on arrival. We asked for a late check out and was granted that with no problems ! Loved this location and will make it my first go-to when traveling. Will also recommend for my colleagues and family !

Hotel/room: The room was clean, the bed super comfy, the furnishings perfect for NOT unpacking everything, with convenient hooks and hangers. Nice desk area by some outlets. The AC is SUPER loud… but it cooled well.
Breakfast was great, lobby is fun and clean, the terrace in back was quiet in the morning. They have a game room in the lobby and it was fun to see it used.
Location: very convenient! Close to highway and downtown and shopping. There is a bar across the hotel and it can get rowdy. If you’re too close to the elevators, you’ll hear a lot of noise. And still, my first night, once I fell asleep, was one of the best night sleep I’ve had in a while!
Service: Front desk is not as friendly as in other properties I’ve stayed at, but did their job and answered questions, and were polite.
Yes. I will stay here again in a month or so when I come back.

A very nice motel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

We’ll def be back, hotel was clean & everyone friendly.
I liked the fact it was in a quieter location. Parking lot was well lit, we felt very comfortable & safe.
Miles checked us in & Ms.Rhonda checked us out. Both very friendly & personable.
Although we didn’t use the games, we had a really short stay. It’s nice to know they’re available when we decide to stay in the future.

We had a wonderful overnight stay here at Tru Hilton Savannah. We needed a place they was away from I-95 but close to the River Front as well. This fit the bill. Bryn checked us in and was very helpful. She gave us great recommendations for parking and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean and had a fun theme. The beds were very comfortable as well. We’d definitely stay here again!!

The hotel is really good! it's pet friendly, wish was an extra mile for us. Very clean, impeccable bathroom, awesome shampoo and shower gel, and comfy beds. GREAT breakfast. And nice touches from administrative like some local info in the elevator's hall.

Beautiful room, very spacious. Love that they have a gym and a game room. This hotel hit all the check marks for me. If I had to be picky, that bathroom at the corner by the tub was not the cleanest, and the since would flood after brushing our teeth, but I have definitely stayed at worse. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always greeting us with a smile and making sure we were enjoying our stay. Rooms include large bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, & lotion. Not the cheap terrible smelling kind like at most hotels. These products are better compared to herbal essence and all of them smell amazing. The breakfast bar is open till 10am and is ultra kid friendly. Wave your hand by the sensor on the machine and pancakes roll out onto your plate. Of course our kids were so excited to make their own pancakes and then top them with whatever topping they wanted. They offer whip crème, M&Ms, almonds, chocolate chips, cranberries, Etc. They also offer scrambled eggs and various other hot dishes that change each day. I honestly would recommend staying outside of the downtown area as the night crowd in Savannah is not kid friendly and has trashed even the nicest hotels located in the downtown area. Unfortunately, we know first hand. We ended up making a last minute booking with Tru by Hilton which was very easy to do and literally found our new favorite hotel. Tru’s parking lot was huge, free, and well lit. Hotel is not within walking distance of the Historic Downtown area, but it is only a short drive away. The public parking garages located in the historic district cost between $9- $15 for 2-8 hours and are within a short walking distance to the shopping area along the water. Overall Tru by Hilton is a fantastic hotel and I highly recommend you stay here.

The location is within 15-20 minutes to historic Savannah. Free parking. Very courteous and assisting staff. Miles went out of his way to assist guests and even provided food choices and directions.
Hotel is pet friendly. Rooms are small and without a microwave & coffee maker, but lobby has game tables, eating location, and nice places to sit and gather, in or out. They provide coffee in the lobby as well as snacks for guests and furry family members!
The location is clean, friendly, and tries to accommodate families. I applaud that.

Very impressed with this hotel. Clean, comfortable, and simple rooms, that are dog friendly .Nice grass areas to walk the dogs too. Lots of food, snacks, beverages etc. in lobby for purchase, and delicious coffee always available. Overall I was really impressed with this hotel, after some of the awful places we have stopped at, and left before checking in, this is a hotel chain I will be searching for in the future! Thanks for great CLEAN and well stocked room for travelers with dogs! Bravo to the Hilton Corp for doing things right!

This is a new hotel. It is very clean and even smells new. It is modern, for example none of the room lights are the same. But be aware that there is no microwave or coffee/tea in the room. There is only one chair with no sofa. There is coffee/tea in the lobby 24/7. We used a digital key (cell phone) so did not talk to employees. But a five star!

My family stayed here this past weekend and it was wonderful! The complimentary breakfast, clean rooms, location, staff was all amazing. The drive to Tybee Islsnd was a straight shot, 30 minute drive. This is officially our family hotel when we travel to Savannah.

My husband and I wanted a pet-friendly hotel. But we had a hard time finding a nice hotel at a decent price because the Expedia app was overpriced and the prices online were crazy. We walked into this hotel and they gave us an EXTREMELY fair price for 2 nights. Especially considering what we get with the room. There is amazing snack/alcohol choices in the lobby. They are pet-friendly with complimentary snacks for the doggos (: they even provide a list of pet friendly restaurants upfront!!! The room was full of clean towels. Clean bedding. AC worked great. Again; I loved the snack options upfront. They have some good ones! Lol not only that but they have an outside seating area, complimentary breakfast (which was good) the front desk workers are nice. And helpful. Housekeeping was very nice and courteous. EVERYTHING here is CLEAN!!! Which I love. The bathroom is very nice. The soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom are unique and it’s truly the “little things” that matter to me. I love the soap and lotion dispensers! Lol all the furniture is modern. I’m extremely happy with our choice. They even provide board games in the lobby for you to sit and play with your family. They also have a gym!!! Andddd pool table! I could go on and on. 10\10 you will not make a mistake or regret booking here. Do it!!! (:
