Community Eye Center

I walked in to the Community Eye Care Center on Monday to make an appointment to have tests done, to see if I qualified for refractive lens exchange. To my surprise they gave me an appointment for the very next day. So on Tuesday I arrived expecting to be in the waiting room for an hour at least, so I arrived early, and was ready to be seen before I had even finished filling out my paperwork. The doctor was very informative, and nice. She ran the test but wasn't able to perform the surgery that I need, but let me know that she would refer me to Sarasota to schedule an appointment with someone who could help me. I was very pleased with my visit here and would recommend anyone to visit them.

I was told I needed cataract surgery by another pushy surgeon. Received second opinion and surgery not needed… I was told they were intermediate vs not bad enough to meet minimum requirements for surgery.
Wow… this was preceded by the most thorough eye exam I have ever had.

It was a pleasant experience/visit. Dr BILLINGS is as always very thorough, welcoming and pleasant. I was quite impressed with the young man that worked with me. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name..

She is Great very open and honest and explains everything. In fact the entire staff I was sent to from sign in to sign out and other Staff that took care of me were polite and caring and I was treated as a person not just a number. I am very happy and pleased with them all.

Dr Batzer is very through. He is caring and approachable. He is honest and empathetic when explaining his findings. My mother trusts him completely and so do I. We are both his patients.

I really love Dr. Simoneau! Been seeing her for years since I moved to FL. Always professional, always sweet and kind. She explains everything she is doing and makes you feel at ease. She takes the time to listen to you and provides her professional opinion and recommendations. Wouldn't want to see anyone else honestly.

Dr. Batzer has been my provider for over 25 years at the same location. I am confident he is providing me the best eye examination that can be found. He asks me all the right questions and he answers all of mine. I am lucky to have him on my side!

Dr McCraken is professional and explained all of my concerns well and Monte also was fantastic.

Community Eye Center is my to go place for any eye problems I may have. My yearly visit seemed to be less wait time. Dr Cheryl Simoneau was pleasant and walk me through the exam by explaining as she went along. Highly recommend for any eye issues or yearly exams.

First time patient. My Board-Certified Optometric Physician appointment was with Cheryl Simoneau, O.D. She was lovely. I went from room to room, eye drops, and then met her. She reviewed my chart, then did her own testing and went over the results. It was super-fast, professional and has glasses on sight. The staff is very efficient. Great team. Good place to get it all done.

Dr. Batzer and Amanda were wonderful and figured out the CORRECT prescription for my eyeglass lenses after 3 attempts by the other doctors at this facility. They both actually listened to me and I am extremely appreciative. Thank you both so very much! Kathryn Watson

He was very kind!!!! He made me feel like he really cared for my welfare. Anyone who is lucky enough to be one of his patients….is Lucky enough indeed!!!! He is a Top Shelf Doctor.

Technician was very thorough and thoughtful. Doctor explained issues very well and answered all questions and concerns. Took plenty of time with us.

Dr Mc Cracken was very concerned and took her time to do all the necessary tests and evaluations to diagnose and treat me. She came up with an affordable solution of not needing to buy new, very expensive, specially made lenses.

Very thorough. has a nice bedside manner made me feel very comfortable and I left there feeling pretty good. The host staff and everybody was very inviting and I’m glad that I picked Quigley to be my eye doctors. Lisa DeMattia.

Dr. Liss and his office workers were fantastic. Unfortunately the wait time is terrible. I can understand possibly a 30 minute wait but when it’s close to an hour I find that too much. Dr. Liss and his staff are fantastic but the scheduling department should take more time to be sure that the wait isn’t as long. I know it’s a business and the more they can get in the more they can make but this could also backfire on them. A patients time is just as important!

Unlike another Doctor I h ad gone to, Dr. Liss did not push...he provided an honest assesment of my cataracts and said they were on the mild side...come back in a year to assess.
Naples doctor's office called 3 times to schedule surgery!!

Although i had a bit of a wait after checking in, the rest of the visit went well. The tech was professional,yet friendly. The doctor was a joy! Thorough yet quick with my exam.
I will recommend this office in the future.

Slow in waiting area, but all staff were fast, attentive and friendly. Dr Liss is caring, informative and cares about your opinion. It’s a good guy that will take time to talk to you.
