Macy's District Office

This review is for a Macy's online shopping experience.
I purchased items online. Returned the un-used items via UPS within the return "grace period". I requested a refund back to the "original form of payment", which in this case, a credit card.
Macy's emailed me advising, the merchandise was received and I would get receive a gift card.
Can you image? I have no words for this dishonesty on Macy's part. The refund should go back to the credit card. All the return guidelines were met.
And still this is how Macy's treats their customers! I have been trying for over a month to resolve this issue, talking to "people overseas" who I can barely understand.
Yes, The Department of Consumer Affairs has been given a letter of complaint, and I will be notifying other government agencies.

I placed an order 10/2023 for pick up. I never picked up the item because it went to the wrong store which was 32 miles 1-way for me. I paid with split payments, giftcard and credit card. I cannot get anyone from Northlake mall to answer the phone. I've called customer service 2x and used the chat feature 1x and each time they say they cannot help me because it shows the order picked up. There was never a pickup and they claim to notify the northlake store and someone should respond in 48 hours and I can't get anyone to call, email, or simply send me an egiftcard with the full amount. No response at all. It's Christmas and I would like to use that money for something else.

Macys is a joke, save your time and money. I ordered an item almost a month ago and i track the package, it hasn't moved. I have yet to talk to a real person. How do I end this?

Loyal 40÷ year customer. Product was never delivered. Order waa for a Cancer patients appearance needs. Macys was unhelpful and rude and told me to "track the package myself ", which i did and it was not delivered to my home! Scammed by Macy's os how i feel and will never do business with Macy's again.

I went to Macy to return an item. A salesperson named “Dhruti”gave me such a hard time returning the item. I have been shopping at Macy long enough to know you can return an item without your receipt. I unfortunately misplaced the receipt. I will not be shopping at Macy’s again because of her unprofessionalism. She finally after the store manager instructed her what to do, returned the item, and after she totally embarrassed me in front of other customers.

Im at Macy's Greenbrier Mall. I was here to exchange a bra I purchased at The Lenox Macy's last Sunday that was on sale, but I bought the wrong size. I come here to Greenbrier Macy's because its in ny community and to my expectation I get treated like I'm stupid, unvaluaed, and had stolen something. First off there was no one in customer service. Second the woman with her breast half out and tats everywhere wanted to exchange the bra, but could not figure out if the bra I selected to exchange which was $60 and the same brand of my original sale could be equally exchanged. Thirdly I walked back to the lingerie section, got 3 more almost the same, at $60 each, that still was not enough. Now she calls the manager, who is dressed like a construction worker, ok maybe I wrong for that, but the manager walked over and said to ne the bra need to look the same for the manager to exchange the $60 bra value, equally. He refused to exchange the item. This is sad. The bra had the receipt, my card, and it was still tagged, just to small. Now this is not the Macy's I know. This was piss poor customer service that needs to be improved immediately. Now while I'm ranting, this store front entry which I posted last week was nasty, and again the carpeting is fowl. This store has the apperace of my locat thrift store. Now after this bra exchange back to Dillards and Belks I go.

I went to a Macys in Hoover Alabama. Was totally disgusted. Merchandise on the floor all over. Then the restrooms were closed for 2 days. Horrible. Very amazing that a Macys store looks like that.

Macy's has the most horrible customer service of any store I know. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again!!

I have called 4 stores and 4 departments I each with no answer.
