It had been awhile since I had been in. We had a few not so great experiences over a year ago. So we just stopped going in. I went in alone and sat at the bar because I was getting new tires next door.

Jamie, my bartender, and Riley, a server that took the time to really tell me about the dishes, were awesome. They were personable and really make me feel like I wasn’t dining alone.

The food was so good. I got a lot because I wanted to try as much as I could. Nothing disappointed at all and I had yummy leftovers. I was told they are doing a menu update but I hope they keep the tuna tartare! I am so glad I gave them another try! Definitely will be back but this time bringing the hubby!

Great find. Amazingly friendly service, delicious food & interesting recipes! We all enjoyed our cocktails, wine, apetizers & meals.

As a diner, I was thoroughly impressed by the culinary competence exuded in each dish that was presented to us.

The food was nothing short of excellent, each bite exploding with flavors that were a testament to the skillful preparation and presentation. The menu was diverse, catering to a variety of palates, and each dish we ordered was prepared to perfection.

However, the highlight of the evening was the service we received. Our waitress, Summer, was an absolute gem. Her friendly demeanor paired with her comprehensive knowledge of the menu made our first-time dining experience at Root & Bar Bistro + Bar an absolute pleasure. She patiently guided us through the menu, helping us make informed decisions about what to order. Her recommendations were spot on, and she ensured our comfort throughout the evening, contributing significantly to our overall dining experience.

While the food was undeniably delightful, it was the warm and welcoming service that made our visit to Root & Bar Bistro + Bar truly unforgettable. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring more of what this fantastic restaurant has to offer.

I had the pleasure of dining at Root and Branch this weekend for the first time. Boy, have I been missing out! The service, ambiance, menu offerings, food quality and presentation certainly exceeded my expectations! We decided to just try a few appetizers and each was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. We couldn't leave without indulging in the creme brulee, which was out of this world! I can tell this establishment uses only the finest ingredients. Sadly, I was too excited when some of the appetizers arrived, I neglected to take pictures of them all, but I did take a few.
I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary delights.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary, it was one of the best meals and dining experiences we have ever had. We had the fried green tomatoes (amazing!!!), Livin’ on a Pear cocktail, salmon, roasted chicken, and dessert. Everything was lick-your-plate excellent. Details such as the hostess opening the door for us, our waiter (Jon) being delightful, the chef coming out to see how our meal was, and a handwritten card for our special occasion made it a meal we will never forget. Our only complaint is that we wish we could take the whole restaurant back home with us!

We had an amazing dinner at Root and Branch on Friday night! The fried green tomatoes and Brussel sprouts were gone so quickly that I forgot to take a picture. But they were delicious! We also had the most amazing kale salad ever with locally sourced grown kale. Best we’ve ever had! The pork chop, gnocchi bolognese and bone in ribeye were all delicious too. Personal service and a visit from the chef/gm made the perfect meal. We highly recommend!

Best Wagyu Beef you'll ever eat! Purchased from a local family farm based in Center Hill, FL. Love the wine and liquor selection. The amount of love and care that goes into the food and service is rare to find, yet should be the standard!! I ate my entire page and even had dessert. Whipped fig cheesecake done homemade style with just enough sweetness to have you diving for another bite without feeling overwhelmed by a sugar buzz.❤❤
Riley was the best server a girl could ask for on Christmas Eve. Even helped me charge my phone!! I truly enjoyed my lunch and will be back as often as I can!

Our first time and definitely not our last. Our expectations were exceeded and we’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants in Florida. James, our server, provided world class service and made our experience an unforgettable one. Without a doubt, a Clermont gem!

I’m so glad we found this gem! Everything we ordered was delicious. Summer made this dining experience memorable by responding so well to our questions and needs. My mother ordered the pork chop and it is by far one of the best she’s ever tasted. My husband enjoyed the pickled tomatoes so much that he bought a quart to take home. I told Summer we would be back as soon as we ran out. The drinks are strong and so tasty. We recommend the Margarita Violeta and the Old pineapple sweet!

My mom and I had an amazing brunch outside in the sun. Jennifer was amazing and extremely attentive and sweet. We look forward to coming back time and time again! Thank you!

I’ve heard a lot about the Root and Branch Bistro from my daughter saying it was one of the best restaurants she has been to. She was absolutely right! This restaurant is fantastic! From the time we entered the staff was extremely warm, professional and friendly. The atmosphere inside was clean, comfortable and inviting. Our server, Summer, was exceptional, very knowledgeable , personable , cheerful and friendly. She made several suggestions to enhance our dining experience and was there to take care of any of our needs with great skill and efficiency. The food was incredible! The fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve had and I highly recommend them. The pork chop and potatoes were the perfect choice! A large thick juicy pork chop over sliced potatoes and corn all cooked to perfection. We finished off the meal with the bread pudding. It reminded me of the bread pudding my mother made, it was delicious! Root and Branch far exceeded our expectations and it is obvious why it is an award winning restaurant ! Well done!

We tried R&B Bistro for the first time tonight. It was a home run from start to finish. Our server, Summer, was knowledgeable, patient and full of excellent recommendations. We started with the La Margarita Violeta and the Fashion Nut as well as the Fried Green Tomatoes and Crispy Pork Belly. They were all exceptional. The flavors were well defined and expertly developed.

For dinner we had the Truffle Cacio Pepe & Roasted Chicken Breast and the 3 Meat Bolognese. Both dishes exceeded our expectations. The gnocchi had a nice charred flavor while being soft and decadent. The chicken was perfectly roasted. The bolognese had a rich red wine flavor and the meat was perfectly cooked. The pasta was the perfect consistency.

We sadly were too full for dessert but look forward to trying more and venturing into dessert territory on a future visit.

My parents and I loved everything we ate! We ordered the fried green tomatoes (amazing), crab cakes (amazing), trout, shrimp and grits, filet, seasonal bread pudding and limoncello gelato. Even the hibiscus and ginger lemonade was delicious. Our server Summer was very attentive, detailed and provided excellent customer service. We will go again!

This is our favorite restaurant. Period. Riley, our server, was an absolute pleasure and gave us the most amazing recommendations based on our own taste. We had the fried green tomatoes (out of this world), the Korean BBQ Salmon (perfectly cook with the most delicious BBQ sauce we've ever had), and the gnocchi. Oh wow. I usually ask for gnocchi because my nonna (Italian grandma) used to make it on special occasions and this is the first time I've had better gnocchi than my grandma! I can't tell her this! And to end, the fried bread pudding... I can't make this stuff up but it is the first ever bread pudding I've enjoyed in this country. Amazingly delicious and lovely atmosphere! Can't recommend this location enough.

Finally went to Root and Branch and we were not disappointed! We sat at the bar and Summer was a fantastic attentive and friendly bartender with great recommendations! The fried green tomatoes, steak tartare and pork chop are a must! We will definitely be back. Only recommendation would be to dim the lights in the dining room and turn up the background music for a more enjoyable environment. Highly recommend eating here and looking forward to Sunday brunch there.

James was an amazing server and gave great recommendations. We had no expectations aside from wanting a quiet local place. We had the fried green tomatoes and they were the best I’ve ever had (lived in the south for 10 years) we also had the pork belly lolli pop and the crispy Brussels sprouts. All very good!! We had the next level bread pudding, which I would skip next time, as they really just tasted like French toast sticks, but the start was the house-made margarita Violeta. Best drink I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely go back for a drink and app.

We had a girls night out/birthday celebration here tonight! What a wonderful experience! Adair was our server and was excellent! Very personable and attentive. Victor was the manager and kept checking on us, very accommodating, making sure we were good. The food was excellent, the service impeccable! We really enjoyed it! Especially the service...we are just your average people but we were treated like VIPs! Just a great experience and I would highly recommend them! (We sat outside too..it was wonderful!)

James, our Server, was an 11 out of 10. He literally made honey mustard for my 8 year old son’s chicken tenders (it’s not an actual offering). He was personable without being overbearing. Had the pork chop and halibut special. Crème Brûlée was incredible. The manager came by and was very kind. Food, drinks, and ambiance were all on point. Top Notch. We will be back.

Pork belly was phenomenal, very crispy and flavorful. Best we ever had. Cocktails are fantastic? Filet was cooked and exactly how I requested at medium and very flavored, salmon was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Justin was our server and was very helpful, friendly, never had to ask for a refill was there filling drinks and offering more cocktails. Highly recommend. Ask for Justin.

Absolutely an amazing experience. Awesome food. Highly recommend the salmon or the trout! Our host James was great. Made perfect recommendations and that cake for desert was amazing.
