Avatar Flight of Passage

Avatar is arguably the best ride in all of Disneys. Star Wars is my personal favorite, but I have no problem if anyone claims the Avatar is Disney’s #1. The ride is truly thrilling , dynamic, aesthetically superb and slightly nauseating for the compromised one.

The wait is almost always 1 hr+. But Disney did a masterful job constructing the most visually pleasing walkway leading to the ride. Every spot while waiting is EPCOT (Every Photo Comes Out Terrific). So take advantage of it. And there are restrooms and filtered water fountain, so don’t panic if you are poorly prepared.

But be aware. This ride is very technically advanced and sophisticatedly designed, so they break down rather frequently. Be ready to be frustrated then you will be fine.

Seats 1-2, 8-9 and 13-14 have a blurry screen due to the angle. Very disappointing that I paid an additional fee to ride this a second time (most recent visit) and the staff allowed people to push up the queue and take our seats while we were scanning our passes (ended up on the end and it was a better quality picture to watch without wearing the 3D glasses).

Hands down the best ride in the park and understandable why the wait is so long most times. May also be my favorite ride in all of Disney. Boarding time is entertaining and sets the story. Ride itself is cutting edge and extremely immersive. Being an Avatar fan it was an unreal experience. You can even feel the wind and splashes of water as you fly through the floating mountains of Pandora. Walk about of the ride was also cool. A must if visiting the park!

This is a very popular ride so expect to wait in line for a while but it is well worth it. This is a totally immersive ride where you get to ride a Banshee. You can actually feel your Banshee breathing between your legs. Hang on and enjoy the view!

The Flight of Passage ride at the Pandora section of Animal Kingdom is truly amazing! For the longest time, Soarin' at Epcot was my favorite ride at the park. However, after visiting again and riding this one, it's quickly moved to a distant second!

The atmosphere here is amazing, and the attention to detail was insanely detailed. The ride itself is so unique, and really lets you get immersed in the experience of flying on a Banshee. I would recommend this to anyone who can ride it! It's a great experience!

Really great ride. Disappointed that it took so long to get in, but was definitely worth it. 4 1/2 minutes of fun and excitement. Explore the world of Pandora on the back of a banshee. It's a little uncomfortable, but really cool.

Yes! Spectacular! Well done! This is by far one of my favorite rides at Disneyworld. My school age daughter rode with me last time and she loved it as well! It's 4 or so minutes of forgetting about the daily hassle and jump into a beautiful fantasy realm. Be ready as your senses will kick in and if you let it, your soul will thank you for this delightful experience.

Amazing ride that is a must at Animal Kingdom! Very engaging and full of wonders!

Best ride I have done in my life. Sometimes a good ride does not have to be a fast rollercoaster. This technological Marvel is something you have to experience for yourself. The queue is great too, sets the stage for the ride very well!

Tip: do this ride first thing in the morning to avoid hour-long lines.

It's absolutely amazing. This ride is so cool. It really does feel like you're on one of the banshees. Every time I went on this ride, it got better and better. If you have the chance to do this ride, do it. The wait time is worth it. Also, the lightning lane for this ride is very worth it.

One of the most awesome rides I've ever been on. You might be tempted to just buy a lightning lane but if you have time and the standby line wait is reasonable, do it. It's an experience just looking at the very detailed labs while you wait. Also, don't rush through the gift shop. Very cool.

What an awesome place! I had no idea what to expect but this really blew me away! The colors are brilliant and the ride is amazing! Unfortunately it’s at Disney and due to their child grooming tendencies lately we’ve stopped allowing the kids to watch Disney and we won’t be visiting again until they stop all this strange behavior

If you are an Avatar fan, this ride is a must. It’s so beautifully breath taking, I cried on the ride first time. It’s truly an experience like no other, there is no other ride at WDW that will ever compare. My breath was completely taken away! Pandora is a must see in person also. Photos do no justice!

Is it worth the wait ? Damn I am in line for the last 3 hrs, and I don't see the end.

This ride is so good we did it twice! Probably the best ride we have ever been on.

It was a amazing experience! There was a bit of a wait but it feel like the line moved really fast because of the beautiful scenery around the queuing area! Even on the inside Disney really went all out and you feel like you are really there! I am exited and am definitely coming back this visit!

Ridiculous wait times but totally worth it. What an incredible experience. DONT MISS IT. Super awesome. I was all ready to pay for the individual lighting lane to by this at exactly 8:00am when it opened, but who would have thought, it was already sold out. They open those 30 mins early for resort guests. The standby line said 170 mins wait when we entered but took like 90-100 mins to get in front. The wait is insane, it's the first ride ever that actually has a restroom half-way through lol. Pack your snacks, lunch, book to read or games to play, whatever. Just be prepared for long waits.

This is by far the best thing in the Animal Kingdom park and maybe in whole Orlando. Be prepared to wait for long time, but for sure it’s worth it
