Very nice resort. Only negative is its size. great pools, common areas and Olivia's is fantastic. Way better option than the all-stars options. worth the upgrade from a value resort.

Disney has done it again! Everything was amazing, but I have to give a shout out to Andrew at the front desk. I had Christmas gifts delivered, and on the night of Christmas Eve, I went to retrieve them. Well, they were not assembled. I really wanted my kids to enjoy their gifts the next morning. Without even asking, Andrew took my daughter’s bicycle and got the necessary tools and assembled it all by himself while I worked on my son’s electric scooter. They even called to have someone pump up the tires for me. This is the type of stuff that makes Disney different. Thank you again Andrew!

We've been Disney Vacation Club members since 1998 and we love this place. Some of the rooms are a little tired and need some refurbishing but they aren't too bad. The grounds, gardens, staff etc are excellent. We've used the pool where we stay loads of times and love it. The water is crystal clear, the area is spotlessly clean and the sunchairs have recently been replaced and are very comfortable. You can use the watercraft to get to Disney Springs and the bus transportation system is quick and efficient. Love this place and we'll be back again soon.

Perfect place to stay. Very calming, quiet, and close to the park. Rooms were spotless, nice welcome, and nice to stay in.

Pros - basically everything!

Cons - no place to buy water after 10pm. Bed was very firm.

Great option for staying in the largest rooms on Disney property.

Most of the rooms are newly updated with comfortable beds, and a huge soaking tub in the 2B villas. We really enjoyed the size of the kitchen, and how there was plenty of room to spread out. Check in was not available until about 3:30 PM.

Olivia’s Cafe is a great food option and one of the better restaurants at WDW.

The drawback is that the internal bus route can take a while to get through when coming back from or going to the Parks. Also, Depending on your room location, walking to the main house with the main pool, shops, etc could be impossible. You also have to take the buses to the parks, as no other transport options exist from this hotel.

The boat access to Disney Springs was super nice and runs frequently - about every 20 minutes or so.

The cast members were all very nice, and helpful with all needs.

I would stay again!

Very clean rooms. Two queen beds with a small table, 2 chairs, dresser, kitchenette with sink, fridge ( no freezer), microwave, toaster, coffee pot, disposable dishes and silverware. Bathroom clean with ample counter space. No elevator so if stairs are an issue request ground floor.

Lovely quiet resort with easy boat access to Disney Springs, 15 minute ride! Great main pool and good amenities, small gym, games room. Beautifully decorated for the holidays and lovely flowers! Rooms are bigger than other DVC resorts. A few quiet pools dotted around. Staff here are super friendly & give a lovely welcome home feel!

An excellent resort very centrally located to all the parks and next to Disney springs. I had a 1 bedroom villa which was humongous for two people. The room was very clean and up to date with lots of amenities.

The resort itself is huge with 5 bus stops, if there is any negative I would say it takes time to go around the resort in the bus depending on which section of the resort you are in, but we didn’t find this to be an issue at all.

The staff was always helpful and friendly, the main pool is nice and there is a great bar and food right by it.

What I personally liked about this resort is you feel like your off the beaten path of Disney without a lot of the craziness that other resorts have , but your really not , it was never more than 15-20 minutes to any park . And only a couple minutes to Disney springs by bus , or you can take the boat to Disney springs which was about 15 minutes , it was a nice ride.

I definitely liked the resort and would most likely go back again

We like Old Key West because the villas are larger than the newer ones. We had a great view of the golf course from our balcony, which is large enough for a table for 4.
October has always had great weather in Orlando. High 70s- low 80s, blue skies.

We stay here whenever we can. The 1 bedroom units are our favorites. So spacious, split bathrooms, fab porch with views of the golf course. Bus service is convenient. Shop near the lobby is great.

Although this is the oldest of the Disney Vacation Club resorts, it's still one of my favorites, partially because of the nostalgia. My parents used to bring the family to stay here when we were growing up. I think it's qieter than the other resorts, which I like. Rooms are plenty big for a family of 4 and the amenities at the resort are great.

Loved every minute of our stay here. So many staff were wonderful! The resort is huge but we were placed close to the check in building and were very grateful.

We loved our stay at the resort. We had a 2 bed room villa which had a lot of space, a fully blown kitchen, terrace, nice living room and even a whirlpool bathtub. The Resort has one restaurant, two fast pick up places and a really nice shop. The resort is organized in a lot of smaller houses which makes it really nice and special. Pool, Gym, etc are really nice as well. Best part was the really friendly and caring staff, awesome and the shuttle service to the theme parks. Strong recommendation

A gem of a resort. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Only disappointment is limited transport services and the resort is so large it is not easy to get from place to place. Wonderful service and the cast members were amazing.

My wife and I have been DVC members for about 20 years now. We’ve stayed at most of the resorts on property and Old Key West is our favorite. It’s clean, quiet and beautiful. The staff is always genuine and nice. The property is located near the center of the property which makes it convenient to all the parks and the water taxi to Disney Springs is our favorite way to travel. The villas are always in pristine condition. Olivia’s breakfast is top notch and their dinner menu can’t be beat. Three separate pools to choose from if you don’t want to hang out at the main pool with the sand castle slide and all the kids, you can lounge around one of the other pools which tend to be much more peaceful. When our kids were younger their favorite thing to do was go to the main pool for all the fun and games put on by the entertainment cast members. We always crushed the Disney Trivia games. I’m a golfer and Lake Buena Vista Golf Course winds through the property. It is so far my favorite Disney course. Even when I’m not playing I can usually sit out on the balcony of our villa and watch other guests play. Can’t say enough about this resort. Looking forward to our next visit in 87 days!!!

I have stayed here so many times it is nostalgia for me! This is Disney's oldest vacation resort. It has lots of 1 bed, 2 bed, and studio self-catering apartments. Lovely comfy beds and air-conditioned - nothing like walking into an air-conditioned room after a long day at the parks in the hot sun! Each apartment block has its own private swimming pool plus a main pool near reception. There are also bus stops at each block with regular buses to take you to the theme parks. There is a little convenience store and Olivia's Cafe if you fancy eating out too. Definitely would recommend this accommodation 👍
