We stopped in for the first time after a pickleball tournament on 3/17. It was 12:00, the place was packed! Good sign. We were told our wait would be about 15 min…not bad. 2 minutes later we were seated! Food came out fast and was delicious! We both had build your own burgers and they were cooked to the temps we asked for! The ranch to dip the fries in- the best ever! So happy we found a new burger place that is amazing! Next time we will try breakfast!

Great burgers and service. They've got 2 outside patios that are dog friendly. 💜🐕🐶

Good food, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. I had the biscuits and gravy with bacon on the side. A bit more meat in the gravy would have made this a solid five-star meal; I give it 4 1/2 stars as it was. Definitely going back to try the burgers.

THE BURG’R BAR in Punta Gorda! WOW!!
My wife and I drove over from Winter Haven to Punta Gorda to visit a family friend. We decided to eat before heading home. A minute later we saw their sign and decided a burger sounded better than pizza.
We were so happy that we did! My wife had a regular burger w/fries and I had a BBQ Burger w/ sweet potato fries.
Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly!
Our server, Wanda was so cool, friendly and sweet! She took excellent care of us!
If you’re in the Punta Gorda area or from out of town and want a fantastic burger, make sure you go to the BURG’R BAR!
BTW, Wanda, the left over sweet potato fries made a great snack for our long drive home!

Classic, small town local place feel. Burger - delicious. Mac n' cheese - to die for. Service - great. The fellow with the white hair was friendly, helpful, very efficient, and accommodating to our odd requests. We're from way up north, but we will be back. I bet everyone knows how good the food is, and these folks know what they're doing. So nice in the best way.

We’ve been here multiple times… it’s always great! My husband does not eat bone-in wings, but he does at burgr bar. We crushed a 12 piece and took home 6 more, they’re THAT good! That dry rub is incredible! Service is always awesome, Alex was spectacular. Food runner was great! Buffalo chicken dip is to die for, everything is good here. Hubby absolutely loves the bison burger, it’s always cooked to his liking (he is picky!!) Definitely one of the best spots to come to if you’re in punta gorda! We love burgr bar ❤

We stopped for breakfast on our first day in town. I’m glad a friend in our party forgot her jacket, as that gave us a reason to return for lunch a few days later when retrieving her jacket. At breakfast we shared a pitcher of awesome Bloody Maria’s. Lunch was pretty good too. But the service? It was over-the-top! It’s just not very often you get service that was as friendly and efficient as we experienced on both visits!

Our waitress was awesome. Food was very good. We had a party of 10 celebrating a birthday party. During dinner, prime time here in Punta Gorda, so it was very nice :) Efficient and staff very accommodating!

If a burger could sing a harmony in your mouth, this place makes those burgers. I have the pickiest eater in the world that I take out to only burger places and I swear her eyes rolled to the back of her head in flavor ecstasy for every bite. Our server was a charming blond lady. I asked her what she was in the mood for, and bring me that. So not only are the burgers in good taste, but the service has good taste too. The burgers here are what all burgers should strive to be. I dont know if another burger will ever satisfy me after having the burgers I had here. Best Burgers in all the land. Be nice to the chef. I bet the chef wears a cape. Best darn burger. Ever!

Hidden gem in Punta Gorda. Fabulous breakfasts and tge burgers are the best in Florida. I highly recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed.

So i have stopped here many times to have a burger but today i realy needed one. We had a club burger and a bacon blue. This place is excellent!! Food quality is always on point. The consistency of flavor and the home atmosphere make this a place worth driving the 30 miles to get to. Staff is great and after a great meal the area is nice to walk around. Have to work off the burger 😁

We had the most wonderful experience with Burg’r Bar! Ella, our server, was so friendly. The food was quick and absolutely delicious. (Hidden gem- try the chicken noodle soup when it’s on the menu.) We will definitely be back!

My husband and I ordered the Mahi appetizer. It was really good with the tortilla bread they serve it with (if you like cold deli type dishes). We ran out of the tortillas and our server offered their house chips and they were crispy and tasted great. She also got our orders quickly. One issue we had that was promptly resolved was that my burger came out medium as I had ordered well done. Our server had just walked away when I realized it, so when the hostess walked by, my husband asked for it to get corrected (I hate making them do this but I can’t eat it medium) and she was super quick to get it fixed as was our server and I think it was a manager who came to double check if it was right and also gave us extra sweet potato fries while I waited. Our server kept our drinks filled and was great at making our meal work out. We don’t go out often so it was nice to have my burger fixed up without any issues. This was on Friday night, 12/22/23.

What a difference in service makes a huge change in reviews. Last time here bartender sucked and we had a bad experience. This time we had a bartender who was on point and made our experience terrific. Good food and good atmosphere!

What a great little place. Renee was the absolute best waitress I've had anywhere in years. Burger was perfectly cooked and the chocolate lava cake, served with whip creme and ice cream was better than sex. (Pictured below.)

This is a great place for quality food. The burgers are huge and great quality. The price point for the burger quality was great. The selection isn't huge and the place feels a bit cramped but the owner obviously aims for quality (even the paper napkins are nice). Our server, Jayden, was on top of everything and was super friendly. Definitely a place to try if your in the area.

Burg’r Bar is an absolute favorite restaurant for breakfast and lunch in Punta Gorda, and it’s hard to beat Sweet’s Diner in Port Charlotte. I love them both. This is a photo of a Burg’r Bar ham, egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough toast with a side of hash browns. I go there almost every Saturday for this or one of the best cheeseburgers in town. I beg anyone who has had a bad experience here to return with a good attitude and try again, because you don’t know what you are missing. At least you have given positive reviews to the staff, because they are indeed excellent. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Can’t ask for much more. I find that it has a kind of Key West flair to it as well.

Busy At 10 AM but nice waiting area in picnic area outside! Parked a ways away though but it was an easy walk! Ella was our wait staff and she was excellent! The food was outstanding! Definitely gonna try the dinner menu soon👍🙌
