Dollar Car Rental - Atlanta Hartsfield-jackson International A/p

Great service. Line was long, but the wait wasn't that bad at all! Service was awesome. Car was dirty and had a few dings, which I'm hoping they don't try to blame us for. That's why I took these photos before we left and some soon after.

No floor mats... but the car is nice and all else is well. It's a 2020 acura RDX SH-AWD with all the bells and whistles.

Would definitely be back for the Tesla 3 😁.

So despite the poor reviews I'm giving dollar rent a car 5 stars. I was very concerned about the service i would receive prior to my arrival at Hartsfield ATL airport dollar rental car. The line was a little long but it moved quickly. The gentlemen that tool care of me was very professional and quick with running me through the process. I was in My car and rolling in less than 30-
minutes. Great Job!

Troy Nelson the Operations Manger and manger on duty were amazing. The customer service was great and very personable. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

I have to give a shout out to Chris! Who was awesome and had great customer service!! He went above and beyond to make my rental experience a positive one. My flight arrived in Atlanta at 5 am, and I was at the counter by 6am and there was no line. So if you get in early in the morning, you won’t have any problem getting your rental. Thanks Chris!

Chris at the Dollar Car Rental in the Airport at Atlanta was a great and fantastic help to me and the group I was traveling with on August 8th 2023 at 5 am. Chris ( a big Pittsburg Steelers fan) not only did his job but went to a fullest effort to find our youth group from Des Moines IA. a way home. With all flights canceled and only standby was available for 21 people. He gave hope and followed through with action that led our group to stay together and get home via Alamo Car Rental

In a industry like Car Rental someone just doing their job is not enough. Chris engaged in thinking outside the box and help us end out trip on a higher note.

When all other rental companies did not even bother to help us, Alamo Car Rental helped us avoid total disaster.

Now I consider myself review Queen 👑. But never felt the need to do a review for a car rental service I use constantly, however I will say the last two times I’ve been at the Dollar rental, Jennifer has been getting me right!!!! She has great customer service and actually cares because you know how it is Ben getting a rental. She is awesome…I’m always in and out with her fast in less than 5 min & I’m always satisfied with the car I get! 🗣Promote her please! But all together Dollar and Thrifty’s service has gotten better, especially with prices

Turns out the kind of rental service you get depends on the location more than the company -- what' s good at one airport may not be good at another. I've been treated very badly in Atlanta when I was Hertz gold, more than once, at literally 3 times the price. Much happier with Dollar here.
The line at the Dollar counter can be very long, The trick is to sign up for Dollar Express on the web before you rent, then you bypass the counter and go straight to the garage. The process is about 5 minutes after that, and you pick your own car from what's in the garage. Unlike Hertz, they DO have cars for me to choose when I arrive with a reservation. I also make my own reservations through Southwest, get a better rate that way than even with Costo. Cars all appear to be new, return is also about 5 minutes, 10 on a busy day. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

I was SO nervous reading all the negative reviews that I showed up at 9am for my noon reservation expecting to spend hours in line and hours waiting for my car. I was in and out in 15 minutes with the van I reserved. The staff were super friendly and answered all my questions. I am really pleased with my experience.

The staff I had was really nice and friendly, especially David at the checkout. There was an issue with my car’s licensing, so he informed me I’d have to go back thru and get another vehicle. He let me pick any car on level 3 and gave me a free tank of gas - without me saying anything - WHAT A GUY!! Thank you!

The employees are absolutely amazing and dedicated to giving superb customer service. I will be sure to use dollar again!!!

Not sure why all the one stars and bad reviews. I rented here for Thanksgiving literally no one in line. Process took 5 mins and I got to pick out my SUV. The more name brands seemed to be a longer wait and not to mention wayy more expensive. To top it off dollar was only one who decorated for Christmas!

So their service is at the Hertz counter, but I just had to share this. We thought we had lost the only american driver's license between us which would have forfeited our rental car we'd prepaid through Priceline, but that didn't stop Tammy from providing us all the possible assistance she could. She was patient, kind, pulled an international book of driver's licenses to help us via our Malawi license, and then when we thought there was no hope gave us the number to call for a refund. She is an incredible asset to the customer service industry. Thank you Tammy! You can laugh at us now that we found our license. 😂

After being given a really hard time at ACE, I stepped up to Dollar prepared to hear I couldn't rent a car. The Woman over at ACE said none of the other rental places would rent to me. Right way John said, "Don't worry, we'll take care of you." ( I was more upset when I stepped up to the counter than I realized.)

They do run a credit check, but no big deal. Considering, I didn't have any reservations and I was renting at the airport, I feel I got a good price. Most importantly, I got really great customer service. I just really appreciate John. His boss was very kind, too.

Our surprise we were giving an upgrade. The check out process was easy during the pick up and return. We read the info highlighted in yellow and had no problems with additional charges.

One of the easiest rental experiences I've had in years. Booked when i got off the plane, went to the counter, signed the contract. I even got to "pick" my own car. Returning it was even simpler. Will definitely look for Dollar on my next trip. Thanks.

I have been using dollar rent a car for many years now across many states in the united states. I have NEVER had a problem at any of their locations. I love the Atlanta branch because their customer service is always great, their range of cars is great and amazing deals and its always a breeze to get checked in and get going .

Renting from Dollar has always been a pleasant experience for me. As a Dollar Express member, picking up the car at Dollar locations is quick - I'm usually on my way within 5 minutes of entering the rental car center. Great service Dollar!

Best experience, very fast! Rented a Jeep and was great, clean and good condition.

My agent took good care of me, very nice and hospitable. No issues at all, and wait time at minimal, this includes car pick up a well.

Patrice was so nice , Friendly, Bubbly and considerate! I had an Issue and had to leave and come back, upon my return she remembered me as a customer and helped Me get my rental quickly. Thank you so much patriceeee ❤
