Dickey's Barbecue Pit

We ordered the XL family pack. 3 meats, 4 medium sides ( we ordered mac n cheese x2 baked potatoe casserole and potatoe salad) and 8 rolls. We chose pulled pork, chopped brisket and kielbasa. Potatoe salad I make at home is better, not that it isnt good, dont prefer sweet potatoe salad. We also had 3 BBQ sauce , spicy, sweet and OG. Feeds 6-8 people. $75 . Clean store, and friendly staff.

*Edit* Finally went back and found them to be open so a coworker and I are here. The food was great though expensive as hell. The staff were very friendly and got the food out fast. The restaurant is very dark though, could use some more or better lighting lol. *Edit*

Does anyone else ever find this place open anymore? I've gone on 7 different trips to this place on different days and times and it's never open. Correct your hours so we aren't wasting gas to go to a closed store. (I'm not emailing no one. Just tell us your hours openly in a reply...)

The atmosphere is amazing , clean and fun.

The employees are amazing especially Jamie !

Just off that I would come back.
And the most important is the food is 5star. I would definitely go back to get food from here again.

The Mac stack is great

The BBQ is unparalleled and serving sizes are generous. Clean interior and employees actually make you feel welcome! Look at his mouth-watering salad! Free ice cream everyday and kids eat free on.Sundays!

Decided to stop by for a bite to eat before heading back home ..I was glad I did . The food was very good . Hot.Fresh. Prompt service . We definitely will come back again

We had them cater our son’s graduation party.Food was excellent Ray and Staff five stars,party was a hit everyone loved food.Highly recommend ,thanks team!!!

I normally get the special of the day. On Wednesday it's the Westerner and Thursday its the two meat plate. For sides I like creamed spinach, Brunswick stew the best around, Onion tanglers and loaded mashed potatoes. They also have good tacos.

Not only did I love the food, but I really enjoyed the ease of ordering through ActiveMenus!!

Extremely nice and attentive staff. Food is decent, but the friendly staff is really what makes me come back to this place time and again. Plus, you gotta love that they have a giant picture of President Reagan at a BBQ back in the day! :)

The guys behind the counter where awesome and helpful!! We don't eat at Dickeys but every few years, but they helped with our questions with great customer service. The food was good! I didn't love the roll that came with the plate.
It was so dark in this restaurant, it felt dingy. But it was clean and the workers came out to the dining area and cleaned. Whoever manages this Dickeys has a great crew, and does a great job!

Pork ribs plate was spot on today. The sides were great to. Very enjoyable meal coming from a person that use to smoke there own meats. Thank you

This place has fast service, great BBQ, great sides and free ice cream!

The brisket was perfectly cooked, tender in the middle with"burnt ends" charred with just enough crunch. I chose the lightly fried okra as the side. It was also delicious

Me and my family just finished eating here. EVERYTHING was amazing!! The food, the customer service, and definitely the free ice cream afterwards. Chris was so very kind and friendly. He’s for sure in the perfect position as the manager. The employees were great as well. As a server I know about good customer service and it felt good to go somewhere and get that in return. We enjoyed everything and will be back soon.

Today was my first time ever going in there. I ordered the three meat plate with chicken, brisket and ribs with an extra rib. Had the brisket chili and jalapeno beans for my sides. I didn't have to wait at all after ordering, which I really appreciated. My food was so flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Everything was so good that I didn't even need the barbecue sauce... I had asked for the Dr.. Pepper barbecue sauce because I never tried it before and I actually dipped a little bit of my chicken in the sauce just to try it and the sauce was simply amazing! But I had already eaten just about everything without the sauce, it was just that good...Make you wanna "slap your momma", that good...This is my new go-to bbq place now. Fast and friendly staff. 5 stars!

I've tried several Meat Potatoes from 4 different restaurants and the Brisket Potatoe from Dickey's in SAVANNAH, not Pooler is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

Consistently good bbq... I like the loaded baked potato with BBQ on top very filling and delicious... Only complaint is ice cream machine has been out over 7 months and they said there retiring it and not replacing it...

Great customer service! A little miscommunication between myself and the guy who took my order (first time eating here) but he cleared it up and got me what I had actually wanted with no fuss. Extremely nice, polite and well mannered!! Food was delicious! Size proportions were perfect.

It was our first experience at a Dickey's BBQ and it was a very enjoyable one. Nice, friendly, and helpful staff. Totally Awesome BBQ Sandwich. Fresh Fried Okra. Perfect Potato Salad. Yummy Baked Potato Casserole. And truly southern Sweet Tea. PLUS, Free Ice Cream out the door. Lol. Thank You Fellows for a satisfying lunch. Like Arnold says, "We'll Be Back!"👴👩‍🦳
