If you are looking for good, Southern, home cooking, look no further. This is the place for comfort food. I've been eating here since 2000. I moved out of state for 8 years & tried to eat here when I came back for visits. I've moved back and I still enjoy eating here. The food is consistently good & the portions are generous. My favorite is "Chicken 'n Dressing" on Thursdays. No other home cooking restaurants around here serve this dish. I always enjoy eating here.

First time coming here for breakfast. We had only been here for lunch which is also great. But the breakfast is fantastic! They were pretty packed and the drive thru line was wrapped around the building on a Saturday morning, but for good reason. Will definitely be coming back for breakfast in the near future.

If you are ever in Gainesville or Flowery Branch, do yourself a real favor and dine at Curt’s Cafeteria. I had never heard of this place. I just happened to pass by while I was in the area. Talking bout a gem!
YOU MUST GO. You willl not be disappointed.
The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. It’s a cafeteria so it’s very family friendly.

So the young lady said to us, just tell me what you want. So I ordered an omelet and 1 pancake. (PERFECT) My husband ordered sausage and cheese eggs. (PERFECT)
Price: Unbelieveble. 2 breakfast and 2cups of coffee less $20.20

Cafeterias are hard to find in the city. This is a great find.

While visiting Gainesville, I did a search for restaurants near me. This was one of the ones that came up. The moment I got there I knew I made the right decision. It was packed with locals. We got 3 bacon, sausage, egg and cheese biscuits and a cinnamon roll. They were all very very good. I highly recommend this place for cleanliness and great food.

Really good food and friendly people... but they're expensive. I did get alot of food and didn't read the menu first. I just went in hungry and told them what I wanted.. but this plate cost $15.31!

It’s always a pleasure to enjoy a hometown style restaurant with great service, great food and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re at home. Affordable prices are a plus as well.

Every time I go, they are nice, welcoming, patient friendly staff. Every chance I get, I go there. I really love the homestyle potatoes, pancakes, and bacon sausage patties. This is my breakfast order every time. 😋

The drive-through wait is worth it. Awesome breakfast burritos that might rival the chicken place down the road!

Cafeteria style food. Food is made from scratch and is full of flavor. Also, the selection is very big so there is something for everyone here.

Food was excellent! Even though it was cafeteria style, all the food was hot and fresh. Everything was yummy, and they had a wide selection. They had a salad bar for anyone who is vegetarian, and they had plenty of options for kids too. We got a full southern lunch for 2 for only 20 dollars. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our waters were never empty. Ms. Patty was wonderful as a server. I would definitely recommend for anyone going out just for a small lunch or a massive group. We will be coming back! 💕💕

Come Early!!!! Down home southern Breakfast is what I love. It is Not all you can eat, but you will not need to go back after the portion sizes they give you. Everyone is nice and your bound to leave with a full tummy and heart.

Gosh, the food was good! Great meat-n-three! Down home! Had chicken fried steak, green beans (the only ones in the area that are vegetarian, which is the way I prefer mine), mashed and gravy, and one of the best biscuits I ever put in my mouth. My fellow diners informed me that the strawberry cake was, indeed, every bit as good as it looked! The server kept an efficient eye on us and promptly brought everything we needed as we asked. So surprised at the level of dining room service for a cafeteria-style restaurant! Wish I had found this gem when I lived in the area instead of now that I'm just visiting, but it'll be a new regular stop on my frequent returns to the area!

The only oddity was that I was repeatedly asked what I wanted long before I could see my options in the serving line. I'm sure they're simply more used to their regulars.

They have the best biscuits and hashbrowns in South Hall! I love Curt's. Still my favorite place.

My daughter and I come here every Saturday morning for breakfast. Food has been consistently delicious as long as I can remember. Definitely an Oakwood landmark.

Great place to eat. The country fried steak was 1" thick and delicious, as were the blackeyed peas and roasted Brussel sprouts. Can't believe we haven't tried it before now...will be back!

Had gotten breakfast a few times over the years but not anything else. Lunch had absolutely awsome. Biggest country fried steak I've seen. Mac n chess was great and corn bread.
