Avis Car Rental

Everyone at the avis shop located in downtown Savannah was always friendly. They always tried to help me feel less troubled. However, there were times when I was in trouble when I visited to rent a car because there were not enough vehicles available.

They are very kind. We always get our car on time with no hassle. They were even understanding when a deer hit the rental we were in. Good customer service!!

Young lady working the counter was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Vehicle was clean and very nice. Return was easy.

Rating 5 stars because we got very lucky and Avis was able to rent us a car with no notice. We happened to come at a time when a car was being returned and the people ahead of us showed up late so we got their car. We got upgraded for free and the staff was very accommodating for us when we wanted to extend our car reservation by 48 hours. Overall, I can see how people would have a very frustrating experience here, as the staff mentioned they have VERY few cars available. It is an extremely difficult / expensive time to get a rental car and people don't seem to understand it and get upset at staff when it's not their problem. I'm glad we got lucky in this scenario and were able to get a nice, upgraded car for exactly the time I needed it for.

Not sure why all of the bad reviews. The walk is a little far to the parking garage but it's not avis's fault it's just the way the Savannah airport is laid out. Counter was quick and painless I was in and out in like 8 minutes and to my car in another 8 minutes. Zero complaints.

I originally rented from Avis because of my AARP status. I was given an upgrade and the vehicle was perfect for me. The employees were courteous and very helpful because this vehicle had all the lastest gadgets including the reminder to check the rear seat for anything you may have forgotten. Returning took less than 5 minutes. Thanks, I'm referring my friends.

Curtis made things happen for us. We waited for 45 minutes at the Savannah airport Avis thinking that is where we would pick up the car. Luckily we realized or errors and went to this location. At first they had no cars, but as customers started waking in to return their rented vehicles, the manager and Curtis helped us get a rented vehicle. They understood our dilemma and found a solution for us.

Always a seamless experience picking up my rental car. This location asks that you do your own walk-around to note any imperfections on the vehicle before leaving. Friendly, efficient staff. All vehicles I've ever rented are near new. Great rates. Highly recommend.

This a co-branded car rental place
(With Budget) — we walked in, presented driver’s license and credit card and walked out with a Chrysler 300 (we reserved a mid-sized car, so this was a free upgrade). Total time spent was about 10 minutes and we were on our way. Staff was very friendly, and there was no up-sell for additional insurance, etc. Very pleased with the experience and the card. Kudos!

The pick-up and drop-off were easy as pie. The car was a dream to drive and was extremely clean! The location inside of a Sears auto shop does leave a little to be desired though...

Brandy is always helpful and courteous. I never have a problem or a wait. In and out and the cars are always nice and clean and the prices are low and affordable. Wish i could give 10 stars!

Can't say how much I appreciate them watching my flight delays and waiting for me. I was the only person also. Omg, can't thank you, guys, enough! Everyone here needs a raise!

Fantastic office with amazing staff and beautiful car. I highly recommend you go there for all of your rental needs. Their prices are extremely affordable, too.

This location has the best customer service. If I have questions or don't understand something they are always willing and ready to assist me. My check in always go very smoothly.

I love renting from this particular Avis/budget in Savannah GA. The owner truly understands customer service and they are fast and easy.

Stop dealing with these other guys when Avis offers the best service
