Mahogany spa

Today was my first visit to the salon but it definitely will not be my last! I am new to the West Palm Beach area and the search for a hair stylist has been a complete nightmare. Coming from Atlanta I took for granted that finding a skilled stylist would have been this difficult. I am overjoyed to have found Von and Erlene 🙌🏽🤗 but from what I see, ALL the stylists are skilled and caring professionals. I watched these women bend over backwards for a client today who did not complain while she was in the shop, her hair was beautiful when she left and she was Birthday ready. They were even considerate enough of her special day, to the point of moving her service in front of mine, just so she would not be late if she had plans for the evening. I was cool with it, as I was not in a rush. So it was so disappointing that the minute this client left the shop she chose to post a negative review that frankly was untrue. Ladies, kudos to you for your contribution to our community because it is much needed and I pray you continue to operate in the excellence that you already do! My daughter and I appreciate you all and we are officially loyal customers.

My client needed a last minute hair appointment and this place was 100% accommodating and the stylist did an absolutely amazing job!!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone! She did the best job we’ve seen in the longest time! You guys on forever on the top of our list!

This is my second time going to Mahogany and I am happy with both experiences. I've had the same stylists both times and on each she is very friendly and open. I mentioned this because a lot of times I don't understand exactly what I want done and she is patient and knowledgeable about explaining what each service is. All the ladies seem knowledgeable and friendly.

I love this salon. It is very beautiful and it has a soothing atmosphere. Rashida( my new and only stylist for life lol)was amazing, knowledgeable, professional, and very kind. I am very pleased how she took the time to address my hair concerns and also explained the steps and treatments I would need to achieve my hair goals. Did the trim, treat and style package and loved it. My hair looked and felt great. Staff was fun and the salon was very clean with cute decor. My boyfriend also did his locs and loved his style and bought products.

This is my go to place for my natural hair styles and hair treatments. Moisture is very important for natural hair styles, and the salon provides a secret treatment that makes 4B hair extremely manageable. I love it! They offer spa services as well at extremely affordable prices. I've purchased two treatments, but haven't used them yet. I love this place, oh and my hairstylist, Von as well!

By far the best place for loc maintenance and natural hairstyles. I began my loc journey here a year ago and as a customer I was never worried about the quality of products, the health of my hair or the stylists knowledge. I always left the salon feeling confident. On top of that, prices were always fair and consistent. I moved up north recently and I only hope to find a salon to care for my hair as much as they did!

I have been trying to dread my son's hair for a few months now and it was not turning out the way I would have liked to. It wasn't as tight, some of his hair was locking and some wasn't. Being my first time doing something like this, I did not want it to end up completely locking and it not ending up looking nice and beautiful.

So I decided to get some professional help and I'm so glad that I did. I check out Rica at Mohogany and she was very friendly, welcoming, answered my questions and educated me on why the method I originally chose was not working and how to take care of his hair during the process. We were very happy with the end result, especially me. I know that as his dread journey continues it will lock up beautifully and I can't wait to see how he looks as it gets longer.

Took my daughter in for a last minute trim. They fit us in and Von(?) Gave us amazing service. As a straight haired "vanilla" mom, I always have many questions about my babys beautiful curly "chocolate" hair. When asking questions I'm often met with short answers and still in the dark about a routine. Von took the time to educate, and explain everything thoroughly, to make sure I know how to keep my babys hair healthy. I appreciate the great service and quality products used. If you are looking for a fast or cheap salon this is not for you. If you are looking for quality, knowledge and gorgeous hair Mahogany is where to go.

Short answer: Great experience. My story: Before stepping foot in the salon I was debating going back to relaxer. The idea of being natural just seemed to be a lot of work. I didnt think I was ready for it. Honestly, I'm kind of lazy when it comes to my hair. I Rather spend my time doing something else...like makeup. I was even told my hair was too course to be natural and i started to believe it. My mom who is natural said to try this place. And if it doesn't work out, at least i got to expirence something different then relaxers. After meeting with these lovely ladies, I not only felt grateful for my natural. I was empowered. They never told me what to do. They said it's all about my choice and what I feel comfortable with. They shared their experience on how they felt about their individual hair Journey (both are natural) and they made it seem fun and exciting.! Just to see what my now transitioning hair will look like once fully natural. What i learned: it's more than just a hairstyle its about caring for yourself. Every part from head to toe relaxed or not. And It's okay to change you mind.
Its all how you feel. And i feel really comfortable embracing my natural hair more now then ever. encouragement and awesome advice. Was non stop. It wasn't the only hairstyle which is amazing!!.it was the care for my hair and attention to detail that inspired me to even write this review. being surrounded by women who are embracing their beauty almost made me forget about how fustrated i was when i left the salon only to realize my car had died because I had left lights on. At least my hair was cute and I now have a plan. Thank you ladies.

I started my loc journey with rose. I so far it's been about 5 months and I'm very satisfied with the service. Rose is all-knowing when it comes to hair in locs. And she always has my loc's looking Amazing! I would definitely recommend going to rose and mahogany Hair Salon to anybody who see their starting on natural hair journey or getting locs for the 1st time or if you already have Them.The shop is always clean everybody's very friendly. They also sell natural oils for hair.

I went to Mahogany Salon to get my starter locs done by Ricea, and it was a great experience ! All of the stylist that were in attendance really made me feel comfortable and I really loved the environment. Of course I will be going back and become a regular customer. Im glad I found the perfect salon to help me with my loc journey

Excellent service by Pauline, i have short hair and was not what style would fit, and i bought the wrong texture of hair for the style I wanted..so she took the time to braid a couple of samples to see what works best...Excellent service i will go again and refer a friend...

I went for the first time yesterday and I really like it my locs was done by Rose she was very kind she is patient caring and tender and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and ok with my hair style I was instantly very comfortable with her the other ladies who worked there seems very nice and they all seems knowledgeable about their work I definitely will be going back there .
