1848 Coffee

First time here. Met a friend and had a cups of hot tea. Didn't get any of the baked goods, but they had a nice selection of donuts from the National Bakery. Friendly and efficient staff. There wasn't a huge amount of seats, but enough tables and space to be comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stop in again.

What a gem of a place!
So cute inside, though looks very uninteresting from the outside. I think I passed by the place many many times without realizing it was a coffee shop.
They roast their own coffee, and have lots of interesting flovors. Interestingly, my whole group ended up just enjoying their dark roast - the national avenue - over all the other flavored kind, but it was quite good.
Their latte was also spot on, and hit the spot.
Barista/cashier was very friendly and helped us through our coffee selection process very patiently.
Totally coming back!

Been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally did this morning. Great coffee shop! Love the atmosphere, baristas are friendly and attentive, and they have a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks. My honey oat milk latte was delicious. Will definitely be back! ☕

Cute neighborhood coffee shop. I loved the cortado and drip coffee.

Awesome local coffee. The owner is a cool dude putting out a fantastic product. This coffee beats anything else in New Berlin.
I had the mocha. Terrific!
He gets his beans from a Wisconsin roaster in Hayward, WI.
He is currently operating out of a food trailer. But don’t let that stop you. It’s worth the stop.

I had the banana split latte. It was really good. My husband got a cortado his was not as good because they burnt his shot. We also got a raspberry scone which was really good.

The coffee was really good! There are no bakery items. Just a few granola bars and trail mix options.

I love visiting 1848 whenever I need a coffee to go. I also enjoy having it outside with a friend during the summer on their patio. They provide different flavors every month, I believe, and provide a punch card to earn a free coffee. I definitely believe they have the best coffee in town or even in the surrounding area!

My wife and I started going to 1848 right before our daughter was born and have gone several times since (hello sleep deprivation). Every drink we have tried has been amazing! Iced coffee, dirty chai’s, barbajada, all delicious! If you’re looking to support a local coffee shop, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and make a delicious cup of coffee!

What a fantastic little place! Beautiful atmosphere with great taste in music, not to mention the coffee is out of this world smooth and satisfying! Great place to just sit and read, I definitely will be back.

Great little gem in New Berlin. You will find the owners working most days and it is a very small place to gather and enjoy coffee from the Wisconsin region. there is a patio area outside in summer and the local baked goods are wonderful. The coffee and tea they serve are all Wisconsin brands and they now have a house brand that is very good. very kid friendly and very hopping on the weekends. I also have been told it is a frequent stop for Police and Fire employees. I must check out place, come grab a coffee and start your day right.

The minute you walk into the place the smell of coffee is fantastic.

My husband Al and I wanted to try this coffee shop!! It a place that has seating inside and outside. The coffee was excellent. We got two cups of coffee and a brand muffin. The muffin was so big we shared it. The coffee shop sells different kinds of coffee mugs, and t shirts. If you are looking for a new place to enjoy a good cup of coffee. I would go there. You won't be sorry.

I’m never disappointed white what I get here! If they brewed up something special I always have to taste it. Last summer they had a iced orange cold brew. Sound a odd I know. It it was amazing.

Love atmosphere, the coffee is delicious and the zucchini chocolate chip muffin is so good.

A Milwaukee Area classic. They recently relocated farther East down National Ave. great vibe and plenty of seating for the crowds this show can attract! I’m a black coffee drinking and several of their own roasts are fantastic.

Only critique I have was their specialty drink flavoring was a little bland this time around. Could have been a fluke. My wife and I have been several times and they’ve never disappointing.

Stopped in and had a cold brew mocha and a raspberry muffin. Both delicious. Will definitely go there again!

Great place for coffee ☕ and hanging out. Clean facility and bathroom, with outdoor seating.
