Doctor Gonzales is an amazing surgeon doctor, probably on the top of the list in Georgia and perhaps in the country.
He is all along so precise and so simple in this complex procedure that you feel so relax all the way.
I am so glad that I had him for my prostate removal with robotic surgery.

Dr Gonzalez is an excellent surgeon. Five years ago he removed my prostrate. Five years later there has been no recurrence. I am a Stage 3 with SVI inclusion so my expectation was not so cheery.

I recently had prostate size reduction surgery performed by Dr. Gonzalez. Overall, the experience was very positive. Dr. Gonzalez has been my physician for 15 years---he's very knowledgable and professional and cares about his patients. If I have a need for further surgery, Dr. Gonzalez will be my first choice.

Dr Gonzalez is a one of a kind doctor. I had a botched prolapse surgery last September and Dr Gonzalez has been committed to getting me fixed. Froy Gonzalez is an excellent doctor. He takes the time to listen and is very open to answering questions and hearing concerns. He presents various courses of actions and explains how tests and procedures work. Because he is relaxed, he helped me to relax. I enjoyed his subtle sense of humor. But, because he is so excellent with patients, he can run a bit behind with appointments. I suggest you bring something with you to do. He is well worth the wait!

I was referred to Dr. Gonzalez after a tumor was discovered on my kidney. My wife and I did our research and confirmed his excellent reputation before making an appointment. During my first appointment, Dr. Gonzalez took the time to review my MRI that detailed the tumor with me and my wife. He reviewed my options and we agreed to remove the tumor and save the kidney if possible. My laparoscopic robotic surgery was scheduled and his scheduler was of great assistance in helping me with every aspect of scheduling my surgery. The tumor was found while I was a patient at Northside Atlanta recovering from a very serious fall. When Dr. Gonzalez performed the surgery, he found that the fall had compacted fatty tissue on my kidney. Normally, removing the fatty tissue from the kidney is a fairly easy process. In my case, the tissue had to be meticulously removed in small pieces to avoid damaging the kidney and/or rupturing the tumor. Instead of taking less than an hour, my surgery lasted approximately three hours. Dr. Gonzalez told me and my wife that it was very tedious. We are very greatfull that Dr. Gonzalez did everything in his power to carefully remove my tumor and save my kidney. He will be my urologist from now on. I highly recommend Dr. Gonzalez.

Dr Froylan Gonzalez is a great Dr. I would recommend him to anyone! Not only did he fix my kidney issue, but he also recommended me to a neurosurgeon that fixed my back issues! I would go back to him for future problems without hesitation!

what words could possibly be adequate for a doctor who saved your life? Of course, you hope/expect your surgeon to know what he/she is doing. But Dr. Gonzalez was special. He did everything right to be sure that the cancerous tumor in my ureter tube did not spread. He took not only the kidney and tube, but some surrounding tissue to be sure he got it all. Also did a chemo wash of the bladder. He is a wonderful, talented surgeon.
And, of course his staff at Georgia Urology is top notch too. His scheduling nurse Shelly Cherry was wonderful. She helped a scared patient through the process; including pulling up the surgery to minimize any spread. She also was my rock and consoler as I awaited the surgery.
The Pre-op was caring and thorough. and Jessica did a fantastic post-op consultation. She too was caring and professional.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! After meeting with Dr. Gonzalez my son and I were relieved. We had gotten an disturbing inaccurate misdiagnose from another doctor.
