ACE Rent A Car

TBH, I was scared when the online website "chose" this company for my rental car. But I am now a repeat customer and always look forward renting from them. Easy to reach them once you get out of the airport and even easier to pick up the car, a couple of minutes. It's all connected. Their cars are clean and well equipped and their staff gives you the best services. Kim helped me this time to process the paperwork at the rental center. She is an asset to Ace and an absolute gem for the customers; she gave me a warm welcome, listened & accommodated my preference/needs as best as she could, then processed the paperwork quickly. What could a customer ask for more? Thank you, Kim! Was happy to see Haven, the other agent who gave me a great experience in the past. Anyway, returning the car is a breeze too. They have great people manning that area too. Unlike some other car rental company, return process is quick & easy, then I get my receipt/paperwork within a few minutes.

Ace gave me excellent customer service from the time I picked up and when I dropped off the Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid H-trac I rented. The CUV was an excellent vehicle, great on gas and it turned heads. I will definitely recommend Ace rental car and rent from this location again when I am in town. Very happy with my experience.

I could not have had a better car rental experience. The staff are all the nicest people, the car exceeded my expectations, it was new, a large sedan with Apple car play and super clean, and the price was the best deal at the Atlanta airport. Oh, and it was easy to call a real person to ask a question!

Big thank you to Ms Kim from Ace Rental Car! We originally rented a car from another company and paid a month in advance only to be told that the wait would be up to 4 hours to get our car!

Ms Kim had a vehicle available and we were on the road within 25 min after we had already waiting a total of 2 hours with the other place!

When my company reserved a car from here, I cringed when reading the reviews and was dreading what I thought my experience was going to be.
Surprisingly and with great delight, my experience was nothing but great. The line was short, the front desk worker was cordial. No surprises on my bill. The garage worker was very friendly. I even got a current model year vehicle that had many smart features. My return experience was just as quick and easy.
It seems like I either just got lucky or that they've resolved some of the issues that were ailing this place.

I want to say something about the second woman to help us at ACE Rent A Car at the Atlanta Airport on Thursday afternoon, 28 March. Ever been up a creek without a paddle?

My wife and I showed up at the ACE Rent A Car desk at the Atlanta Airport, to rent a car to drive from Atlanta to Columbus — a 2-hour drive. Only then did we discover that my driver license from my home state had expired. Even more fun, so had my wife’s driver license expired! This was a dual disappointment, about which we were clueless until we presented our licenses at the ACE car rental facility.

Foolishness like that is best avoided in the future by learning from one’s mistakes. Learning from one’s mistakes is best done by first attempting to solve them on one’s own.

So, it was time to reassess. Take a flight? Ride a bus? Hitchhike? Well, we finally got a clue by calling our home state’s driver license department. They said, “Apply online, we’ll send you a temporary license which you can print and use.”

Thus, while my wife was working on finishing her online application, I went back over to ACE Rent A Car desk to speak to the attendant we had spoken to 20 minutes before. She was not there. Another woman had taken her place. This lovely woman was a Godsend: she was engaging, friendly, thoughtful, and she spoke clearly and loudly enough for me to hear her over the general din of the combined Rental Car Center. This combined facility, while extremely efficient, is also very, very busy, with lots of people and noise.

I explained our predicament to her. I told her my wife was busy obtaining a temporary license from our home-state DMV. Then I asked her if our car rental reservation was still open, or would we have to make a new reservation under my wife’s name? She checked and confirmed the previous attendant had not canceled the car reservation.

Then she very kindly & enthusiastically said, “Not a problem!” to swapping out my name for my wife’s on the reservation and contract. Whew! Saved! I let her know we would go back to our hotel (one quick stop away on the SkyTrain), print the temporary license on the hotel’s Business Center printer, and then return to finish renting the car.

Here’s the thing that just really tickled me about the woman, and made me glad that I was renting from ACE: about 10-15 minutes later, this lovely woman came out from behind her very busy ticket counter and walked the 100’ or so to where my wife and I were sitting on a bench. We were just finishing off the online paper drill with our home-state DMV Driver License Division.

This wonderful, competent, and very busy woman had put her work at the counter on hold for just a minute or two. Then she came over to say, “Once you get that temporary license, no need to go back to the hotel. Just bring it over to me and I’ll use our printer in the back office. I’ll print it for you.”

You can imagine how that made us feel. Someone who cared! And that’s how our problem got fixed. Three people just doing their best!

I asked the woman her name. “It’s Akeri,” she said, “and everybody just calls me A.K.”

So, as A.K. was finishing up our rental paperwork — which included charging our credit card — I said, “Why don’t you just add $50 to the charge to pay yourself a nice tip? You’ve been so helpful, and we’re feeling very grateful.

Once her brain processed what I had said — amidst all the other things she was thinking about and processing — she looked up with this serious, startled look on her face. The look said, “I can’t possibly do that!!” Then she saw me smiling and realized I was joking.🙃 But it was a nice lead-in to our expressing to her our thanks and our feelings of gratitude for her kindness and extra efforts.

ACE, you guys did great! And A.K. is well on her way to becoming a manager, or even higher. She has already proven that she is a high-quality leader.

Good on you, Good Woman! And thank you ACE! Things like this don’t happen unless management encourages them by valuing their employees.

****This is a budget car rental place***... BUT the people were VERY friendly and helpful, they got me in and on my way seamlessly. The return process was equally wonderful even though I was prepared for a fuel charge because I had forgotten to refuel. When I apologized and asked how much I was going to have to pay( I'm thinking I'm about to get hammered) they said that I didn't use that much, and they would wave it. The car was newer, clean and had around 25,000 miles. Very happy, and not just because they did me a solid

I had to wait a few minutes when I got there a bit earlier than my reservation. But the process was super easy. Akiria & the other lady at the ATL checkin counter, also the ladies at the pickup garage were all super kind and professional. I had a nice clean car and the return process was just the same; excellent. Thank you Ace!

So to say I wasn’t apprehensive when I arrived into ATL airport would be a lie and certainty when headed to the car rental after reading some of the poor reviews.

My first impressions were, super easy access to get there on the sky train. Loads of counters to choose, albeit I had a reservation with ACE. I booked a “Special” rate car so even more apprehensive.

I was fortunate to have only one lady in front of me finishing up, so no more than a 2 minute wait.

My ACE rental representative couldn’t have been any nicer. Heaven Lewis! She was amazing. Fast, comprehensive, thorough and exceptionally polite and professional. To be honest, I have no idea why some people have left 1 and 2 star reviews. I’d give Heaven 6 stars as she was AMAZING! To the point that I was checked in and in my car within minutes. My “special” rate car was a 2023 Hyundai Kona AWD and is a great little run around.

Absolutely delighted with the whole service and professionalism of ACE.

Would I use ACE again? 1000%. And mostly because of the service that I got and 10/10 for Heaven.

We had a great experience here! We walked right up to the counter got our car within only a few minutes and were able to get on our way. The staff was friendly and the manager was wonderful. We had a slight issue with our car and within only a few minutes we were given a discount and a phone call to help resolve any problems.

Traveling for work. The Chevy Malibu I received was new (only 10K miles), clean, and performed great. Customer service was polite and professional. Return was quick-and-easy and the invoice was emailed to me promptly.

I'll admit that I was skeptical about this company after reading several negative reviews, but I had already reserved and paid for my rental through Priceline. Well, I have no complaints. The young lady (who was working alone) at the counter when I arrive to pick up the vehicle was very nice and informative. I was given a 2023 Ford Bronco that I actually fell in love with the days I had it. I was greeted by the same young lady upon returning the vehicle, we had a couple of laughs and I was on my way. That was my experience with ACE.

Akeria was so helpful to us on last Saturday. Long story short, we had booked a third party with hertz. That third party failed us and didn’t go through so we found a good price through another third party through ACE. We were going back and forth just trying to get a rental car for our stay with family in Georgia. We kept trying to get the initial booking covered through hertz and we were so hungry for lunch and went to the hotel for a few hours. We came back to the rental terminal and tried ace hoping it would work and they had 2 vehicles available. My drivers license wasn’t working in their system for some reason so they wanted my husbands. Akeria was so nice to hold the car until my husband came over and really made us feel like we were going to be okay after a stressful day trying to get a rental car. Thank you so much ACE and Akeria for everything you did to make our trip a success!

I do not understand the reviews 😐. I had zero problems. These guys are a funny and loving crew. Took care of my needs very well.

Check in agent was quick and efficient. Check in was quick and easy. The car was late model and clean. Dropping off after hours was quick and seamless. I would definitely use again

When the wait at the Dollar counter was an hour long, just to be told that it would be 4-10 hours before we could get our car (7.2.2022), Ace came through with a Camry. Pick up took a few minutes. This also happened in December 2021. The Dollar line was 3 hours long. We bailed and picked up a car from Ace. Sleepover nice in the service was good.

Ace Car rental is superb. All the employees ensured the rental went smooth.

After reading the horrible reviews I would've stayed away too. In fact, I wanted to cancel my reservation the moment I landed. However, upon my arrival, a lovely woman accommodated me with no issues and I was on my way. Thought I was receiving a Taurus but received a 2015 Camry. Great service. Don't be swayed by others, try it out for yourself. No, I do not work for the company. Giving credit, when the credit has been earned.
