Saw a lot of negative reviews, so I thought I’d share that my experience requesting and receiving bulk mail bins and my overall experience were wonderful this morning! Thanks!!!

The Clayton Post Office has never let me down !!! The staff does a great job thanks for all your hard work.

Hey, it's a post office.

The lady refused to ship a package size I have shipped a million times from all over the place. She had no customer service ability and could not use a tape measure properly. I’m sure everyone has been overcharged on shipping by this lady.

8/1/21 update: By far still the worst post office ever. I called to see why we were unable to access our box and was told that a payment was past due. 2 clerks argued over whether the box was open or closed. We did not receive a notice. I completed a new application and completed the portion on my billing address & was told that they couldn't guarantee a bill to be mailed. There was a trainee at the counter today who was very personable and actually seemed competent. One can only hope!

We have not had a good experience with this post office, even before cut-backs & the pandemic. I went to retrieve mail yesterday, that was verified as delivered. I was given 1 box that didn't seem to have bulk for the items expected. Turns out, they didn't give it to me. This is about the 5th time that this has happened.
We always have to double check what's in our mailbox because we often get mail intended for another person. Wait times at the desk can be unnecessarily long: one worker at the counter who was addressing & taping a box for a customer, while other workers popped in & out of the front area. I waited for 20 minutes. Returned to pick up the 2nd item the following day because it had not been processed with the other one. I don't know what's going on behind the scene, but, the front desk seems hopeless.

Awful experience. It was $16 to ship a SMALL box which they told me would be there in 2-3 days. It’s a week and a half later and it still hasn’t arrived and they haven’t given me an estimate arrival date. When I went in, the lady at the counter just said that everyone’s having that problem and I probably won’t be given an estimated time. I was not able to get my money back or any answers as to where my package is at. Not too surprised because none of my packages I’ve shipped through them ever arrived on time. If you need a shipping service, please don’t use them go to Going Postal, they will guarantee your package gets there on time.

Stopped delivering my packages to my house. The house is on a private road and it is their job to do so. I’m outraged. If you can’t pull down a drive thru driveway you are mental

Our garage at street level 100+ feet from house and 75+feet from mailboxes is NOT the place to leave our packages, especially when set next to the trash can!!!
