Avis Car Rental

Online, I made a reservation for a Tesla, eagerly anticipating the experience. However, upon arriving at the airport and locating my name on the board, I headed towards the corresponding letter and number but was disappointed to find a Honda electric vehicle instead of the Tesla. I approached the counter and spoke to Carla, who kindly offered her assistance in finding another car. Unfortunately, there were no other options available that met the standards of a Tesla.

As I was standing near the counter, Carla called me over and informed me that a new car had just arrived. Curious, I agreed to wait for her to bring it to me. To my surprise, it was the Genesis G80 Electric, a vehicle I wasn't even aware existed. I must admit, my excitement grew as I waited, not knowing what to expect.

Carla demonstrated exceptional helpfulness throughout the process, going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. She found another car that matched the caliber of a Tesla and, despite not being the car I initially reserved, I truly appreciated the effort she put in. I want to express my gratitude and acknowledge that Carla exceeded my expectations. She deserves a perfect rating of 10 out of 10.

Fantastic service and staff at the ATL Airport location! The other car rental places were out of cars, but Avis allowed us to walk up and rent one! Lucy did a spectacular job and deserves a special shout-out! Kudos to her!

My experience retrieving my vehicle was excellent. Because I am a preferred customer, my vehicle was already waiting for me, and easily found from my app information and the electronic signage in the garage. I had no wait time! The vehicle was clean and equipped with everything I needed. The Avis personnel at the exit was very helpful and friendly. Returning my vehicle was just as easy, with no wait time, and Avis personnel were again helpful and kind.

The line was long which was expected with the airport but honestly did not take too long. The customer service was nice. I ordered a mid size sedan and they gave me a SUV with no addition fees. Getting the car and dropping off was easy and no hassle. Dropping off you don’t have to do anything but go catch your flight they email you the receipt. Will be using again!

I mistakenly ordered an electric car through the Avis app and the Customer Service representative (I believe her name was Ivan) at the Preferred window invested the time and effort to find the right car for me - an SUV that would help me with transporting my 89 year old mother while in town. Ivan was so professional, knowledgeable, personable and customer oriented all while they had a shortage of cars and a long line of customers Thank you!

When I tell you I'm so glad I'm a preferred member! My husband made a reservation with Thrifty! The line was crazy long and they had no cars! We canceled that reservation and booked online with Avis. Which we should have done anyway! I had only one person in front of me, walked up to a friendly lady who not only assisted me with getting my rental, I received an email with a QR code for express check out which I recommended, because the line to exit the parking area was ridiculous. The car has plenty of trunk space and nice leather seats. I walked around and took pictures of scratches and a few things I noticed, including the low air tire pressure light. I was offered to either wait for another car or go to any other Avis rental to switch the car out.

Had a wonderful experience picking up my car. I am a preferred member, and everything was smooth. I got a car I didn't want initially, and I was serviced quickly and changed to a car I wanted. Had a nice new car and didn't have to fill it up until I returned it.

I rent from the Avis airport location quite frequently. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Ms Ivan on February 11th. Her customer service and attentiveness were outstanding. It was cold and rainy, but she was still smiling and pleasant. Thank you ma’am for all of your help!

Long line long lines it was horrible I waited in line for 2 hours to get to the counter to be fully checked in. Then I was told to go to the garage to receive the SUV I walk out the door I SEE A LONG LINE it had to be over 100 to 200 people waiting to receive their car i waited 2hr 42 minutes
I reserved the SUV for 11:30am I received the SUV at 3:42pm total time wasted 4 hours and 42 minutes. Other than that I did receive a really nice SUV GMC 2023 also I called customer service and complained and received 50% off my reservation it could of been better service

I am only able to give 5 stars today on the strength of 2 amazing associates. Ms Angela whom was the manager on duty and Ms TT whom was so poised and pleasant. The night before my husband and I had reservations due to our flight being delayed we didn’t arrive until midnight and was greeted with nasty attitudes and dirty vehicles only to be told “it’s not that bad, it happens, and don’t act like that.” I wish I would have grabbed those associates name, with myself being in customer service it’s extremely important to be patient and respectful most of all hospitable. So thank you Ms TT and Ms Angela for the great hospitality for caring and getting us set up in this sexy truck☺ below are the pics of the first vehicles they offered us to drive. 🥴🥴🤦🏾‍♀

After a bad experience trying to rent a car with another agency (where I had already rented a car), I was going to head back through the airport to grab an Uber as it was 11pm. I saw Avis on my way out and decided to stop there.

I was greeted so much nicer and with so much kindness, by the wonderful LATIFAH!! She answered questions I had, and had us in a vehicle fast and seamlessly. Her kindness and patience were exactly what my teen daughter and I needed after a rather daunting experience! Thank you LATIFAH!!

I had an issue where the key fob wouldn't work for a car, it got stuck in a parking lot of a Target. After going back & forth with roadside assistance for 2 hours, they gave me an uber voucher to get back to this Avis to swap out the vehicle, as a tow truck was a couple hours away. I showed up to the Preferred Counter and initially was told I needed to wait for the 1st car to be picked up and they needed confirmation before I could get the replacement. Jamaira in particular as well as the management team went above and beyond, understanding that this was for a work trip (and the first vehicle was already filled with work materials) and noted that I'm a regular customer with President's Circle status. Within 30 minutes I was on my way. I was able to get back to the first vehicle and unload everything into the second one. I'm currently writing this while still waiting for the towing company. I have so much gratitude for this team working tirelessly to get through the frustrations and resolve this issue, as it was not my fault or theirs. Thank you so much, Avis team!

We missed our connecting flight. We decided to drive home. We were tired and just ready to get home. Joy was such a joy!! She was sweet and caring and took great care of us.

The whole process from booking to returning the car was excellent and offered great value for money.
Booking was simple and a good choice of vehicles offered.
The collection staff outlined the rental terms very clearly and I took the great option to pre-pay for the full tank at a reasonable price.
The car had less than 6000 miles on the clock and drove well throughout.
The final return process was equally smooth, efficient and just what you need when you are heading off to the terminal to fly.

Thanks to the Avis rental cars company agent for providing me a vehicle I am comfortable to drive, just because, I mentioned what I usually drive. She provided me with an SUV 🚙 and I was able to come home safely without feeling uncomfortable to drive a new type of vehicle after a long trip from India. Most of the other rental cars were not able to provide me a vehicle that early morning and without a pre-reservation. Although it was bit expensive, got home on time.

Had the experience of using this company on my first time renting a vehicle. Needed a vehicle from ATL to FLL after missing my flight. The service was excellent, the waiting period was short and my vehicle was ready in ten minutes. But my representative Julian went above and beyond by explaining the entire process and the expectations to us. The vehicle performed well and after our almost ten hours drive home I wish we had rented it for a few more days. Thumbs up to Julian and thank you for your service

From my experience at Hartsfield-Atlanta Airport. Avis Express is the fastest and smoothest car rental. And the staff is courteous and helpful. However, Doretha goes out of her way to help you whenever you rent at this location. She is very friendly and does her job with a contagious smile and a personality that will be remembered for a long time. Because of her, I love doing business with Avis at Atlanta Airport and am a satisfied customer.

Avis Car Rental at Atlanta airport was a breeze. Went straight from baggage claim to my car. No need to stop at the busy desk. Texts were so helpful letting me know which slot my car was in and updates throughtout the whole process. Thank you all so much!
