Great experience!! Went in for some strings for a violin and had an awesome time talking to an employee & checking out their vinyls and unique instruments. If you’re looking for a cool not too uptight place this is it!!! Had exactly what I needed and more!!! And offer private lessons, so I’m sold. I’ll be back for a long time to come.

So great to have a full service music store in Avondale. They have lessons, rentals, repairs, instruments and records! Full Service y’all! Friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you with what ever it is that you need. I’ve gotten guitar pedals and strings there several times now. Parking in front is limited but there’s spaces in back as well.

I came in to sell records to this store.
Although the clerk chose not to buy most of the records I had a good conversation with the store owner about the transaction and he offered me some store credit in order to help me. So I appreciate that he took the time to discuss this issue with me.
I also sold two keyboards to the owner two months ago and he gave me a good price for them. I recommend doing business at this store because they value their customers.

Love this place! A wonderful music store with so many interesting items. If you want guitars to buy or repair your own...this is the place, they also have percussion, keyboards, and so much more! I know the owner/manager Nick for many years, and he is a great guy who is also a great musician. He also has wonderful staff to help anyone.

Hands down one of the best music stores in the city. This is my go-to shop for lessons for me and my kids, microphones, school music instrument repair, guitars, trombone accessories, you name it. The store's run by a very knowledgeable and patient guy--I highly recommend.

What a great shop! The owner Nick who I’ve known in the music community for many years is friendly and knowledgeable and his shop is an excellent resource for guitars, lessons, & music essentials for both beginners and pros alike! His luthiers turned around my guitar repair and had it
back to me in no time and it was very high quality work!

I wanted to sell my friend's guitar and Nick explained the pros and cons of the instrument in great detail. I was very happy with my conversation with them.

Did the first ever online order for a Vinyl record on their website. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and all around a very nice guy. The album was shipped and packaged accordingly. It plays and looks great. I definitely recommended buying from them.

ATTENTION ALL GUITARISTS! If you are in need of any kind of work done to your guitar... Village Music is the place to go. I recently had an amazing experience with Jake Willoughby and Village Music. I was in need of a few upgrades and some fret re-work/setup done to my Ibanez As73. Jake's attention to detail, clear communication and video updates of his progress with my guitar was AMAZING. Jake took my entry level guitar and made it sound and play like a top tier semi-hollow electric guitar. I will take all of my guitars to Village Music and have Jake work on them going forward. Do yourself a favor and request Jake for all your guitar repair/upgrade/setup needs. He does amazing work!

This is an incredible place where the staff understand the realities of a working musician. Don’t go to guitar center or other big box stores like that – go to this place and get great service and maybe even make a new friend. This is my go-to music store and it should be yours too!

Dropped off my vintage King alto sax for some badly needed adjusting/repairs. Neil with Atlanta Prowinds picked it up later from the store. Called me later after looking the sax over and gave me estimate of money and time needed to fix. Delivered it on-time and in-budget. Neil did a great job and the horn plays beautifully now.
