I have been going to see Amberly for years she’s consistently amazing! Recently started seeing Jillian ( bc of my schedule) wow she’s incredibly talented! The attention to detail the great conversation, I mean she’s top notch ! The salon is beautiful and clean and plays great music ❤

Amberly is so talented, knowledgeable, and sweet. It’s amazing what a great environment and great people can do for the soul. I left this salon feeling so good after the experience and feeling like myself again when I looked in the mirror- Amberly brought my hair back to life ❤ I highly recommend this salon, their organic products, and AMBERLY! You won’t be disappointed.

I came in yesterday with a hair catastrophe, Lyndsey was SO kind and helpful!!!! she fixed my hair so beautifully and i love it so much ! She didn’t make me feel bad or anything for trying to do my own hair. I have a grown out shag and the stylists and lyndsey was so skilled and made my hair beautiful. The whole staff was so kind and helpful!!! I will be back as a regular now! Clean space and positive helpful employees!!!!! Yay!!!

Once again, I am very happy with Gillian’s cut on my hair. Definitely 5 stars.

I was so nervous coming in, it was my first time going to a salon. I was happily greeted by the rep. And the stylist! This place is very affordable. Julie (my stylist) made me feel comfortable, she was very kind as well. She did my hair perfectly! I recommend this place 100%.

New in the area, needed a place to wash and blow out my hair fast (meeting my Granddaughter for a farewell off to college) dinner. As my Incredible luck would have it, I called 53 West. They did a great job (not easy, I have very thick hair) I went to dinner that nite feeling confident I looked my best. I wish I could remember the stylists name! I will say she was fairly young. All of the stylists were busy and I am sure everyone of them, including mine would be excellent.

After my hairstylist of 5 years retired I was on the hunt for a new one. And they were big shoes to fill because i absolutely adored her. But, I'm happy to say that i found Lindsey here at Salon 53 West, and man is she AMAZING! She listened to what I was looking for, gave some suggestions, and my hair turned out even better than I imagined! She's easy to talk to & such a sweetheart! Everyone else in the salon was so friendly, and I love the chic but laid back atmosphere. If you're looking for a new hairstylist/ salon experience, I 10/10 reccomend!

I havent felt this pretty in a long time, the entire experience was comfortable. Everyone was kind and welcoming~ highly recommend!

7+ Month Update: Kali and Kate have consistently done an amazing job with our hair cuts/styling. Definitely recommend this salon.

Stopped in here the other day for a haircut and was quite impressed. Very clean salon with very friendly staff. Kali did an amazing job cutting my hair (which can be a pain) the first time around. Price was very reasonable, and I will happily stop by next time I need a cut!

Update: my wife went in for a cut + color and Kate did an amazing job!

So many talented stylist here! I trust my hair will always be taken care of! Brady is a master with color and cuts for both men and women. I’m always impressed.

Fantastic service, Kali was able to fit me in doing highlights, with just a couple days notice. She did such an awesome job, listened to what I wanted and was great explaining her steps. The cherry on top was getting a mini head massage while washing my hair and cup of coffee while I waited! Will definitely be going back when it's time for a cut!

Great place. Love the owner and staff. Hair always looks great when I leave.

Kali is one of my closest friends and the only person I trust to cut my hair. Absolutely love her and the staff is very friendly. It's always clean and they provide great customer service. They are prompt and I never have to wait long. I recommend them to everyone in the Gainesville area!

Lindsey is the best! I have had very dark hair since 2010 and I've decided it's time to transition to something lighter, truly to blend the greys. I also have pretty long hair and as I was telling Lindsey what I wanted I made sure to tell her I wanted long hair more than I wanted blonde hair. She did a FANTASTIC job of ensuring my hair stayed healthy and looked natural. I can't wait to go back soon to keep going lighter. Lindsey is so great, she listens and always makes sure the integrity of your hair is not compromised.

Lexi is the best, nice personality, and very sweet and knows her stuff when it comes to hair.

Salon 53 West is THE best hair salon I’ve ever been to! The stylists made me feel so comfortable and welcome. My stylist, Whitney, was working her first day at the salon when I came to visit her and at first had no idea because she fit right in and the other stylists spoke with her as if they had known each other for years. I came into the salon with somewhat of an idea of what I wanted, and Whitney worked with me to create exactly what I pictured! She valued my opinion, held great conversation, and did an AMAZING job!! I will be returning to the salon soon and plan to exclusively go to this salon from now on! ❤

I came to this salon hoping for somebody to save my hair from a previous visit at another salon. Whitney made sure she understood what I wanted and pampered me. I had a neck warmer, a hand massage, and free water. I could tell that Whitney, along with other stylists, really cared about my hair and the steps taken to save my hair. I have NEVER been more pleased with my hair in my life. Salon 53 West deserves 10 stars. I will definitely be back.

LOVE this salon. Madison is amazing shes been with me and has made me look and feel fabulous through my high's when she styled my hair and did my makeup for my wedding. (YES she does makeup and she is the greatest!)To my lows when I decided to die my hair blue and she made it this beautiful deep merlot color! If you have curly hair you know the struggle of finding the right stylist and I'm telling you Madison is it! I cant say enough. If your on the fence go and ask for Madison. Trust me, your hair and sanity will thank you.
