Great Clips

Shelby is the only reason I'm rating this place of five star. I always feel rushed at Great clips but she did the complete opposite and was constantly asking me questions and just honestly a very open and talkative person just what you need when someone is cutting your hair, a friend not a worker! Thank you Shelby!

We walked in for appointment for 2 boys and only had a 20 minute wait at the Great Clips, east Layton store. The store was extremely clean , well stocked and organized. Kim was wonderful, friendly, professional and cut to specifications quickly. Her customer service skills and great attitude will bring us back. Tip: make your reservations online to avoid waiting. Highly recommend!

Kim was EXCEPTIONAL! Just the most kind person I have ever had cut my hair before. She was very timely and provided a thorough service. I am highly impressed by her professionalism and how personable she was. I highly recommend her for your haircut needs. Her attitude and exceptional service reflects highly in my eyes. I will definitely be returning to see her and no one else for future hair cuts. Her service was impeccable. 5/5 highly recommend.

Kim has helped me during a very difficult time with my hair. My hair was very damaged due to chemicals. Kim has cut my hair so I can manage it and has recommended products to help with the trauma. I will definitely be back. I have long naturally curly hair, and I have not found many stylists through the years that are comfortable cutting curls. She is exceptional. Thank you Kim! I received one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a very long time thanks to Morgan! She is very fast, friendly and knows what she’s doing! I haven’t had a problem with any of the other staff members there in the past either so I give it a 5 star around rating. Thank you Morgan!

Ok. I was gifted a gift card from a friend for a great clips haircut. So I Googled all the salons near me and the reviews had me shook they were so bad some of them. And one salon even hung up on me. I decided to take a chance on the Fort Lane location and it was amazing! First there was zero wait. I used the online check in. Second I wanted the female hairdresser instead of the male and they totally honored my request. The hairdresser name was Jazymn, sorry if spelling is off, and she is amazing 😊. She was super friendly from the get go. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she told me it wouldn't work. She instead pulled out her phone and pulled up a couple pics instead that would work better. She also said she could cut my hair like hers and she loved experimenting on hair. I told her go for it! The cut ended up amazing 🤩. She did a total shave undercut and make a bob pixie on top. My hair is perfectly shaped and looks incredible. I had over 6 inches shaved off the back! I have found my new hair stylist for life! She is so knowledgeable, kind, funny and very professional. She really should be the salon manager truthfully, she is that good. So please give this salon a try. Jazymn is the one to go to!

They don't have foil shavers which sucks especially by a military base, but their stylist Pixie makes up for it, she was awesome.
I recommend, and highly recommend Pixie.

This is the first place I have given a five star. I give it five star because my 14 year old had a great experience there. They got her in right away and let her have the hair cut for free for donating her. The lady who cut her hair did a good job and was really nice. It's hard to find good customer service these days even at hair salons but these gals were great. Thank you.

I've been going here for a few years and they are always incredibly nice and helpful. If I've ever left and later realized anything I wasn't completely happy about they fixed it no problem. My son and I enjoy our haircuts here very much.

Larissa at Fort Lane Layton, Utah Great Clips is absolutely amazing. Not only does she know how to give a great haircut, but she also listens to what you want, talks it through with you and stops to check in to see if it's what you're looking for as she goes. Not only that, she has the sweetest soul and upbeat attitude! Larissa...you rock! Great Clips is lucky to have Larissa onboard. Thanks Larissa!

I was really impressed with the hairstylist that I had. I'm not one to really chat while getting my haircut and she picked up on that right away. She was very thorough and explained what she was going to do. I opted for getting the shampoo as well as a haircut and she did great at that and actually got rid of the huge headache I had with the quick head massage that she gave me. She checked with me a few times about length I wanted cut and how I wanted the layers done. I have half my head shaved and she did a fantastic job at cleaning that up and taking her time. I wish I had caught her name (my fault foe not listening and not remembering to ask before I left) because that was one of the best appointments I have had in years.

I've always had really long hair, but I recently decided to cut 12+ inches off and I randomly decided to come here. Best decision I could have made, amazing prices and awesome stylist! Pixii was super friendly, gave me really helpful tips to care for my curly hair, and made me fall in love with a short cut. I will definitely be coming back!

I would like to thank Kacey for a great haircut today and updating my notes for the haircut I love and like after showing her the picture of my previous haircut I got at a different location months ago. I appreciate her for also listening to what I wanted in a haircut and talking. It is hard when you cannot see a face. Also, for getting me in and out since I can be very busy due to my profession.

Also, thank you to this location for being open during this pandemic while taking extra precautions of being clean, sanitized, and also wearing masks. I will definitely be back at this location.

Great Clips is fast and affordable. They always give our family good cuts. I have asthma, I love knowing that I’m not going to have to smell a bunch of chemicals. They are so friendly too.

I had Ali, Jennica, and Kacey cut my 3 sons' hair. They were all amazing. Kacey helped with a cowlick issue that other stylist have ignored or made worse. Jennica was able to cut my very difficult/ticklish youngest, and Ali did phenomenal with my son's difficult curly hair. My only request would be to wipe the hair off of their faces better.

Just went to this great clips for the first time. I happened to mention that It is my birthday to the sweet lady cutting my hair and as i was getting ready to pay she said the hair cut was on her!!! I couldn't believe it! There are kind people in this world!!! I will pay it forward next time! Thank you kind lady- I regretfully did not get her name!

My husband and boys LOVE going here! Brought my kiddos in with pictures and they knocked it out of the park.

The girl who cut my hair did an amazing job. She was so nice, and really listened to me. She cut my hair, exactly how I asked!
