Went in on a Saturday afternoon to buy new running shoes, and the place was super busy! After a bit of a wait, I was attended to by a very helpful sales person who had me show him my walk and do a short run on a treadmill, which was recorded for analysis. After learning more about why I was there and what I was looking for, he gave me four different shoes to try on. He was very knowledgeable and honest about each brand, without pressure or bias. I left with a pair I was extremely happy with! Good running shoes are definitely an investment, so it was great to go someplace that felt as invested in my runs as I did!

This is my absolute favorite running store in the Milwaukee area, and my experience today just solidified that opinion. I came in with an issue with newly purchased shoes thinking I needed an insole. Muir was so helpful, knowledgeable, and professional and asked me several questions about the fit of the shoes before determining that I really needed a different type of shoe altogether. He helped me with a full shoe fitting and found me a new shoe that feels great! I was able to exchange the shoes, and I am now all ready to start my marathon training plan in a few weeks. PRO is truly the best!

Great place to buy a pair of running shoes. It's more than just a shoe store, they analyze your walk, pick different shoes depending on your knees to find the perfect ones for you. They have Brooks, Asics, Nike, New Balance, and more. Stop by if you need new shoes and help support a small business.

I went to PRO for a video gait analysis to help me find the best type of running shoes for my workouts, especially to avoid aggravating an injury. The entire experience was everything I hoped for! I was helped the moment I walked in the store and given individualized service the entire time. The staff member who did the gait analysis was respectful and knowledgeable and thoroughly talked me through all things like the wear patterns on my shoes, my running form (heel strike, etc.) and the type of shoe that would be the best match for my running needs. He helped me try on a good amount of options in that category, and I easily found a super comfortable pair that are just what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

Ethan was extremely friendly and helpful, he was able to accurately assess the problems/pain I was having while running and recommend a multitude of shoe choices that would help address it. After a few runs with the new shoes he recommended, there is a world of a difference and I am very satisfied with my overall experience at PRO

I had a wonderful experience here! I am new to running so I had a friend recommended me this place to get my running gait tested and get fitted for the right shoes! Paige was wonderful and she helped me a lot. 10/10 would recommend to everyone, especially new runners

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable! I was able to walk out with a brand new pair of running shoes for a beginner runner. The lady who helped me had me get on the treadmill and then we tried on a few different pairs. She gave great information to help me make the best decision for my feet.

PRO has been my favorite running store to shop at for over 15 years! I normally go to the Shorewood location, where Muir and his team are awesome. They fitted my friend's kid for new shoes, they helped me find recovery sandals, they carry awesome shades (Goodr & Tifosi), and a variety of brands I love. They are responsive and quick to reply to messages (thank you, susie!0 I can't say enough about how much they do for our run community... shop local and get yourself some new gear at PRO. Thank you!

I'm not one who writes reviews often (at all) but the customer service here was awesome. Kyle was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks to some inserts, my feet feel SO much better. Great store would recommend to anyone looking for running shoes regardless of running experience.

I had an issue with a pair of shoes I bought, and they were super cool about taking them back and giving me the newer model, even tho my original pair was starting to tear by the toe box (which was the issue, and not their fault). Great customer service and great shoe reccos !

I love this store. I have gone here for running shoes, socks, and nutrition for runs. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. They take the time to make sure that you're in the right shoes, by feel/fit/gait analysis.

They offer a small discount to any Badgerland Strider. Their rewards program is also nice.

The people working there are well educated on their products and very good problem solvers. When I purchased the shoes I was professionally fitted and observed while running to make sure the fit was right. I had a slight issue with the shoes wearing out in the toe quickly and when I went back to the store they helped me prevent it from happening again in my new pair of shoes by providing me with a preventative patch. I really appreciated all their help and will definitely continue to buy my running equipment here.

This is where you go if you actually want customer service. They will help you find the best shoe for you, not just helping you find a size but will watch you run and analyze your step and match you with your perfect shoe!

After never owning a proper pair of proper walking shoes I went into this store off of a referral from my husband. The employees are so caring and knowledgeable about what products would work well for you. I've never had a better pair of shoes in my life! My back aches and leg pains were resolved immediately. I purchased shoes from this location in September 2014 and just went and bought a second pair this past weekend. The price is a bit on the high end, both of my shoes were about $125, but the price is worth it. I will never go anywhere else for shoes again.

Amazing, knowledgeable, helpful staff. They do a complete shoe fitting based on your body and activity type. Great selection of shoes and very reasonably priced. They also have a nice selection of other gear/apparel and energy bars/supplements.

My doctor recommended I consider buying a pair of Hoka running shoes. My doctor is a long distance runner, having recently completed his fourth rim-to-rim run of the Grand Canyon. He also recommended Performance Outfitters.

I went to the Performance Outfitters store in Shorewood and was greeted by Eden, who offered to help me with my shoe selection. We were able to narrow the choice down to the Hoka Bondi 7. Unfortunately, the store and other Performance locations did not have this particular shoe in stock.

Eden checked further and found that the store was unable to order the shoe directly from Hoka. They were backordered and experiencing supply chain issues.

Eden checked even further and found the shoe available direct and in stock on the Hoka web site. She told me the best option would be to order the shoe on line, directly from Hoka.

Eden also told me it was the store's philosophy not to attempt to switch prospective customers into a different shoe...one that might be in stock in the store. She apologized for being unable to fulfil my Hoka shoe requirement. I ordered it online, as Eden suggested.

My five star review is based on my unique experience with Performance Running Outfitters and Eden. The organization and Eden, in particular, were more interested in my overall satisfaction than making a quick sale. Thank you.

Great staff! Everyone was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Liz was the absolute best, she took the time to help me find the right shoe to combat the shin splints I am struggling with. 10 outta 10, would recommend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great products. I have gotten running shoes, running clothes, massage items, cold weather running gear, and have been happy with every purchase. The reason why I shop here vs. a big box store is they know their stuff and help you get what's right for the individual, and they have a great selection of high quality products.

My wife and I and a friend came from West Bend and met Holly she knew all about her product.took time with us. We ordered shoes the color and type that kit us.. We bought 2 pairs Hoka's and my friend bought New Balance. They have a walking track inside store and work with you to make sure the shoes are correct.
