Scout is an amazing place to host a party! The owners were so easy and accommodating to work with and went out of their way to make our event extra special. Great communication leading up to the event to make sure every detail was covered. The space is unique and beautiful, food and drinks were excellent and staff was just wonderful. I highly recommend for a smaller gathering, we fit around 40 guests comfortably. It was a nice day so we also used their outdoor patio space.

We rented the entire space for a few hours for our welcome drinks before a wedding. Emily was amazing to work with from the beginning. Scout was very flexible and open to what we were looking for whether it be a custom menu, food options, or hours of the reservation. She was incredibly accommodating with any requests we had. Most important, she and her staff were so great the night of the event. We had ~100 guests and everyone still talks about how much fun the party was at Scout! We are just looking for another reason to have a private event there!

This is one of my favorite spaces for hosting mid-sized gatherings. I had my birthday party here with 40-ish ladies, and we had an absolute blast. The space allows for some seated areas and also standing room for people to mingle and move around.

I also hosted an afternoon bridal shower event for a family member in the same private room with about 25 people. It turned out just perfect! We really liked the space because it has a cozy and warm feel and had character with all the wall decor, cute fireplace, and details. We hardly had to do any of our own decorations at all as it felt special enough as it was!

The staff were super easy to work with and helped plan the food and drink options. They helped us with the table/chair layouts on the day-of and we were able to focus on setting up the games and favors. All the guests had such a great time!

We love this gem we found! Classy, cozy and so comforting all in one!! The environment here is just amazing. I absolutely love the set up and how simple the menu was. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff indeed. This was actually our first time here after getting our DINO tattoos, and we surly enjoyed our wino DINO time. Finally came back again the second time for our 5 bottles of Passivento, which is our absolute favorite from here btw and again, it was great!! We’ve searched high and low and this is the only place here near us that carries it. Looks like this will be our new wino DINO spot!!! BIGG THANKS to the team for making us feel so welcomed, you guys are just full of AWESOMENESS!!! 🙌🙌🙌

Had a wonderful time exploring wine at Scout. I loved the options available to create our perfect 6 glass wine tasting.
Absolutely loved the conversation. Wanted to just stop by for a bit but ended up staying for hours. PS the beet humus was amazing.

I rented the special events room at SCOUT for a celebration for which I expected about 30 people. As it turned out, we had 35 guests. The special events room at SCOUT was perfect for our celebration for many reasons! First, it is an elegant room with wall murals, tables and chairs, a big flat-screen TV that we used do show a video. It was the perfect size for a gathering of 35 people. Second, the appetizer boards provided by SCOUT were varied and all delicious. Third, the wait staff did an excellent job keeping the appetizer boards coming and serving up the fine wine that my guests enjoyed from the vast inventory of wines at SCOUT. Finally, I enjoyed working with the owner of SCOUT, Emily Laga, who was very conscientious in ensuring that every detail of the event was covered. There are many other ways in which SCOUT was the perfect venue for our event, such as the ample free parking; the hip, safe neighborhood in which SCOUT is located; and the fact that guests who don't want to leave when the special event ends can simply move to the wine bar at SCOUT to continue socializing and enjoying SCOUT's amazing selection of fine wines. In short, I can't imagine a finer, more elegant venue for a special event for 35 or fewer guests than that offered by SCOUT!

Amazing and place. Really fun atmosphere and amazing selection of wines. Had a couple of great cocktails 🍸 and our hostess Kayla was beyond amazing. I wish I lived closer but will go back soon.

An amazing addition to the shops on Oakland in Shorewood. It was my first time in the shop and everyone was so helpful and the selection was wonderful! My new go to for gifting and for myself!!

Love this place! Nice spot to taste wine. Stopped in after getting tattoos down the road and it was a great afternoon with the girlfriend. We will be back soon! We loved this bottle of wine that we can’t seem to find anywhere else but here!! So we are going back to buy a few bottles and try a few more!!!

We held our holiday work party at Scout in their lounge / private room area and had an absolute great time! I love the vibe throughout the building, it's a great place to converse with friends in a chill / laidback setting.Their sommelier Jake took care of us all night long and shared his knowldge of wine. Emily was available and responsive to any and all if our needs throughout the evening. Luke held the bar down and is a super engaging guy. We'll be back!

We have gotten some of the best recommendations and very best wine of our lives here. Do not miss out on the fun they provide with signature wine tastings, live music on Thursdays and Wednesday night empanadas!

Excellent local wine bar! In addition to the wide variety of wine and cheese offerings, the owner Emily was so kind and saved up 100’s of corks for me for a DIY project I was doing. Can’t recommend them enough!

Super awesome wine selection. Some classic, some esoteric, all with reasonable prices (you can also snag your Opus if you need to satiate your fix) I will definitely be back once the bar opens up or I can pry my friends away from beer to drink wine with me.

Such an amazing new wine shop with yummy global wines, liquor, and a unique selection of special food items. I can’t wait to sit in the funky lounge with my ladies when it’s safe again. 🥂❤🥃
