Mama Mia Italian Ice

From Long Island originally, very cool to buy our pizza kit and black and white cookies. I bought rolls too of course and made great sandwiches with them. I know we are not pizza pros, my kids had fun and that's what matters. I'll definitely be back soon.

I'm so glad I finally stopped in to grab some bread. On the other hand I might just always be "too lazy" from now on and get all my bread from them instead of baking it myself.

I grabbed some french bread, semolina bread, and half a dozen kaiser rolls. I think I make really good subs but it's hard to find the perfect sub bread unless you bake it yourself. I gotta say the stuff they get from NY is way better than my bread. I can't wait to go back and grab some bagels. I thought I was going to have to wait until October for some NY bagels so I'm very pleased that I can drive 10 minutes down the road now and grab some

I'm not from NYC but I loved the BEC from any corner deli. I grabbed the rolls so I could make my own. Also some Taylor ham from the store so I can make a ham, egg, and cheese Kaiser roll

Highly recommend checking them out and taking some goodies home to try.

I don't have a pizza oven so I don't make pizza at home but based on these reviews I might have to grab a kit to try!

Great place for authentic Italian Ice. Lots of flavors. They also have NY bagles, pizza making kits 3 or more sauces to choose from. Kinish and other NY treats.

Always a pleasure to stop here and have a treat. The owner brings in all of the NY delicacies and serves them up with a smile. The Italian Ices are smooth and flavorful, from one of the original shops in the city.
We go at least once a week!

The real deal. Directly from Queens NY from the Lemon Ice King. Tons of other flavors. Don’t waste your time with anything else. Spumoni is my favorite but the Lemon and Chocolate are the original flavors. The Lemon is so fresh it sometimes has seeds. So cool. Great family.

OK this is for my fellow New Yorkers. Let me start by saying that you would not be disappointed I finally find a place that has New York Italian ice, but not only that you can also come and get yourself some New York bagels.
I'm talking about real New York bagels get your hard rolls, Italian bread all from New York. You could even buy pizza dough and cheese and they have a wide selection of bagels and Italian ices, the service is phenomenal, the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm back home The lady who owns it is a kind soul. You can't find another one like her. She brought me back to my roots, was a pleasure to deal with will definitely come back and will add some pictures soon. Also, the bagels rolls bread everything comes in frozen so all you have to do keep them in your freezer until you're ready to use. My secret is your wrap them in a wet paper towel microwave them for about 10 to 15 seconds and then toasted to your liking's tell her

Friendly, true hometown business with a strong focus on NY bagels and breads and a wide variety of true Italian ices! Also have take home pizza kits and selected bakery items, as well as northeast flavors of canned sodas. A great find!

Their product is absolutely amazing and brings a taste of the past back to me. My favorite flavor of Italian ice since I was a little going into Brooklyn every Saturday with my grandparents is the chocolate flavor. It tastes so good, all of the flavors do, and they have a huge variety. The bonus was I was able to purchase actual authentic Brooklyn Italian bread there. I just had to defrost it and it tasted amazing!! I will absolutely go back to try the bagels and get more bread and Italian ice!

The soft pretzels and bagels are a hidden gem! I love every flavor of Italian ice I have tried!

Love love love this place. I drive an hour to get the bagels and plan to do so to keep them on hand. :) The ice and knishes are also a must have.

This place is amazing and my favorite place to get Italian ice. My friend and I used to go here at least once a week and it just never gets old. My favorite flavor is for sure cotton candy and every time I am in Clemmons I must make a stop at Mama Mia's. The owners are the some of the nicest people you will ever meet and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed. I miss being able to go here more often and would suggest this place to anyone who gets the chance to visit.

Never had Italian ice before. Now that I have... you have got to check this place out! Had strawberry and it is delicious. Hot pretzel was real good to. Prices are fantastic, you can bring the whole family and not leave your wallet behind! Come find out for yourself and support a local business in the process!!

Outstanding real Italian Ices that are made in NY! Naturally flavored, creamy and delicious. No dairy products are used. I had the chocolate ice and it was fantastic. Also, tried the banana and both were very natural tasting. They also have real NY bagels, hard rolls, knishes, cookies and more. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed all the ice flavors we tried and will definitely return.

If you are an NYC transplant or have visited any neighborhood in NY with a pizzeria or a person with a italian ice cart in the park then you should feel right at home here. This place carries THE authentic Italian ices from Corona, Queens (NY). A staple of my childhood here in Winston-Salem, NC. They don't just stop at the standards, cherry, lemon, rainbow, this shop has chocolate, mint chocolate, grape, melon and others. Come for the Italian ice but definitely also pick up a black & white cookie and a loaf of Italian or French bread straight from the shops of NYC. Get a knish with mustard and you'd think you were at Coney Island or on the Lower East Side. This place is a must try for a little taste of NYC here in NC.

I grew up in NJ and while I don’t miss much there are a few things, the food!! I remember strolling the boardwalk and having Italian ice and until I found Mama Mia Italian Ice, I figured that would only be a memory. This is as good as it gets and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. They also have NY bagels which I’ve tried and are awesome as well. If you want the best, come here, that’s all I can say.
