Dr Blackburn is, without a doubt, the BEST! He is highly skilled as a Vet and genuinely Loves animals. Our Bella, Baxter, and Bentley are in the best hands in his care. His staff mirror his excellent care!

There's no one I trust more with my senior dogs than Dr. Blackburn. We've had some fairly tricky issues this year and he's never let us down, not even for a moment.

His kindness and empathy have made it much easier to deal with my dog's cancer diagnosis, and just being near him gives me hope that everything will be ok.

I went to another vet to have a cat neutered because it was closer. It was not a good experience for me or my cat. I trust Dr. Blackburn and his staff to provide quality compassionate care for my pets.

I would recommend Dr. Blackburn to anyone in the Springfield area. My dog is a big, nervous baby but Dr. Blackburn puts him at ease and works great with him. Dr. Blackburn is a straight-shooter, but is an incredibly positive person. Also, his staff is phenomenal - they always remember my dog even when it's been 6 mos to a year between visits. I would strongly suggest you use this vet if in the Springfield, MO area!

Every person we had contact with were all nice and polite. We were able to make a same day appointment for a new patient and were in and out in about 30 minutes. They didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need and we felt very comfortable with everything.
