I was an elementary music teacher for 34 years and am very familiar with this music store! My own children, now adults with children of their own, played on instruments rented or purchased from WHM during their school years. This company has been most helpful and attentive during every interaction I have had with them over the years. I recently was in their new Brookfield location and found the same friendly and helpful service. The store is beautiful. I highly recommend this business!

bought a marine band harmonica and I'm in love. Also they were the only store that had Low G charcoal aquila tenor ukulele strings.

Sold! Do you need a professional Alto Saxophone for highschool, college or your career. My Yamaha saxophone is practically brand new and is displayed at the Waukesha Whitehouse of Music. Less expensive than a Brand New Instrument saving you over $1200.00. Passed inspection, replaced some pads, and professionally cleaned. It is for sale.

I can't even begin to explain how awesome this store and the staff are! You're better off experiencing this store for yourself.

This is a fantastic local store, and the new location is beautiful. I’ve gone to White House of Music for years as my children have gone through middle and high school bands, and now that they’ve gone to college I’m taking guitar lessons from Chris (who is great if you’re looking for lessons!) Every step of they way, the staff has been amazing and always knowledgeable and helpful. Selection is great, too.

Yeah, I see you....reading my review what are you trying to find out? Are the reputable? You bet your sweet smile they are! Are they helpful? Wouldn't have given 5 stars if they weren't! Good prices? No doubt! Listen, it's a local chain, with professionals that are knowledgeable. It's got the hometown music store vibe, and not the corporate rocker instrument stores. Wendy talked with me on the phone to procure my child's rental for the year, and the fella who was working when I stopped into pay opened up early for me and got me out in a hurry. White house of music. You guys are doing it right!

We stopped in to swap our instrument for a slightly larger one, and the one we returned had a broken string. We were in and out quicker than you can play Franz Schubert's String Quartet No. 10 in E-Flat Major. The store was very clean, the employees refreshingly kind, and our warranty completely covered our broken g-string. I may have reached the peak of customer-service-experience, and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Fixed my electric guitar for <$30

John helped me select my fabulous Martin D18 guitar. He was very well informed, patient and accommodating. On my third visit we sealed the deal. I got my new guitar at an excellent price with very professional and classy service. I was glad to see how careful they were with their instruments. No need to worry about a dinged up or scratched up guitar at Whitehouse of Music. Go ahead and try the rest, but buy from the best!

The people are extremely nice and will let you know their wide range of expertise on instruments. They won’t try to sell you the most expensive instrument. They will let you know which option would be your best route. They will not try to sell you “fluff”. They will tell you what you need right away to be able to play the instrument and what can wait. You don’t want to buy a lot of extras in the beginning and then fiind out your child doesn’t like the instrument and now be stuck with a lot of things you cannot use.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They are amazing. My daughter plays the viola and I know nothing about musical instruments... and they were able to help her with all her questions! Please support them!

That excellent reputation was on display in my transactions with The White House of Music. I had problems with the product (not the company itself) and The White House of Music went to extraordinary measures to make things right. No problems getting a refund. It is easier to claim an excellent rep when all goes well. But when things go awry and fall apart, that's when the real value of a trustworthy company shines. The White House of Music came through for me.

Great conversation with the staff. They helped me pick a gift out when I know nothing of music. They were NOT condescending or belittling. They were informative and helpful picking out the right level of instrument.

I’ve been renting violins from White House for three years. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend renting from here or taking lessons from their talented staff.
