Not open unless city employees are present. Only store for compressed natural gas in southwest MO. So it's a bummer to arrive to locked gates. I live in Aurora, own a truck that uses cng. It's really a bummer to arrive and find Gates closed for a holiday most folks don't get. About half the time the receipt box is out of paper.

First of all, they're only open from 8-4 on weekdays. Second, their compressors are very small and the storage tank is very small, so most of the time you will be lucky to get 2700 psi, or a half tank. If you get there after a large truck there may not be enough pressure to pump any at all, and if the storage tank gets that low it takes overnight to build pressure back up. When its working. For over a year, the LCD display is defective so unless you go when its cloudy, you can't hardly see it. Next closest CNG station is 100 miles away in Miami OK. Springfield claims to be a big supporter of environmentally friendly fuels, yet their station is a complete joke. Don't waste your gas driving there. Plus, they don't even have a restroom.

First, off this is a pain to find. Second, the only way to get CNG Fuel is with a credit card. Third, we tried several times to get one of the pumps to work and it never would. Ended up having to go to another one just to get CNG Fuel. Thank gosh this vehicle is not mine, it would be setting at a used car lot.
