Scott A. Lewis Park

Great park for running, walking, kayaking (kayak rental kiosk on site), or fishing (not yet tried, but have seen many people fishing). The playground and the pavillion seems nice as well.

We always enjoy our visits to Cottleville's 65 acre Scott A. Lewis Park in the Miralago Subdivision.

For walking, running, and cycling with scenic views, there is an 8' wide paved trail along Buchheit Lake. This trail connects to the similarly wide paved trails of Cavalry Park. There are also unpaved trails to hike whose views include Dardenne Creek and another lake.

Combined, the lakes comprise 22.5 acres. They are popular for fishing, viewing ducks and other wildlife viewing. There are many benches to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The Playground adjacent to the accessible paved parking area is also popular. It is designed for 2-7 year-olds to climb, slide, and swing.

Pavilion 1 for about 60 guests is also adjacent to the parking lot. Features include: electricity, large bar-b-que grill, picnic tables, trash cans, a great view of Buchheit Lake, and SEASONAL restrooms.

A boat ramp for watersports such as kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding is near the pavilion. Gas motors are not allowed.

Many walk their dogs at the park. It would be great if more of them made use of the provided doggie bags.

Nice little playground. Next to the lake near a pavilion. It's a ripped up tire ground with a decent play castle.

This is a great park to bring your child to, do a little fishing, have a picnic, or take a nice walk around the lake.

Cute park in a quiet neighborhood. nice cover pavilion with clean bathrooms and plenty of trash cans. The playground is fun. paved path for riding, walking and running. And ponds for fishing.

Good small park with indoor bathroom, small lake, Pavillion with tables and trash cans, kids playground. Also a nice walking trail with dedicated doggy waste station. It's kept clean and maintained well here.

Best time to go (if you’re in to this) to take nature photos is during the fall at dusk, and spring + summer at any time. Lake is gorgeous and the trees are pristine. Great park, and place to escape city life just a bit.

Very clean and nice park with a beautiful lake to walk around . You can also fish and put your kayak , paddle boat or a canoe in the water. It does have a boat ramp.
