I had an amazing visit to this location this past Saturday. I've just gotten into running in the last 6 months, and I came in to purchase a couple of pairs of shoes to start building out my rotation.

One of the newer employees got me scanned and measured while I waited for one of the experienced workers to help me. I was treated to fabulous customer service by Bethany. She was super patient with me while I asked questions and tried out multiple pairs of shoes.

They had a treadmill there, so I was able to lace up and test out the shoes to make sure they felt good before I left the store with them. Thanks to Bethany's help, I selected the Hoka Bondi 8 for my easy run/training shoe and the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 for my speed/race day shoes. I love them both so much!

I highly recommend this location. Bethany was an all-star, and if the other workers there are as good as she is, you won't be sorry. It was a great first experience buying running shoes.

We are walkers not runners so having shoes that fit are really important for not only our feet but knees, hips and back. Ray did a great job of explaining and demonstrating the benefits of properly fitting shoes. We were not rushed or pressured into buying anything. Prices were competitive with online prices for all products we purchased.

We came to Hazelwood for the Charenji OCR from Ft Riley, KS- naturally I forgot my race shoes. I wear a brace to walk after a spinal cord injury which adds another challenge to shoe shopping, but Ray helped so much!! He set me up with a fabulous pair of shoes, and despite not breaking them in my race went so well with them! I highly recommend this store, who knows we may be back next year if I am in charge of packing again.

Julia was great at Fleet Feet! She was very knowledgeable in helpful me decide what shoes would work best for my everyday and then for working out. I will defiantly be back to visit when I need another pair of shoes.

I brought my daughter into Fleet Feet to buy her first pair of running shoes to begin her high school cross country journey. Christine greeted us so warmly and helped us get the right pair of shoes for her! It was a very nice, streamlined process and we feel so excited to have gotten to meet Christine and choose Fleet Feet for her running shoes. I love that they size her and also check to see how she walks in order to find the shoes for her needs. We will be back!

The Alpine Shop actually referred me to Fleet Feet and I was immediately struck by the honestly of the sandwich board sign out front seemingly designed to preempt potential frustration with the timeframes associated with the fitting process. Either that, or a very clever, subtle layer of marketing genius. In any case, I came right to the point with Ray, who greeted me just inside the entryway. I told him I was not likely to make a purchase from him today, and was only there in hopes that he could help me establish the proper fit for an online purchase from Hoka, for which I had a corporate credit as the result of an ill-fitted purchase from a Hoka retailer in Chicago. "Not a problem, let's find the right fit for you," was his response. 20-minutes later, I knew absolutely everything I could possibly know about my gait, my metatarsals, my arches, and my knees, and left the store with a confident understanding of what size and sort of shoe I really needed. I'll spend the $181 Hoka credit the company gave me to make right the bad fitting their store in Chicago had done, but I'll never buy another pair of walking or running shoes from anywhere other than Fleet Feet. Ray absolutely earned my lifetime business on that zero sale visit. Super positive experience all around.

Erica was wonderful, patient and sure knows her stuff. I felt better immediately and I hope this planter facitis goes away soon. I found our more about my feet in 20 minutes, than I ever did by numerous visits to a podiatrist...will definitely go back...thanks so much Erica. Andi

I was having some severe foot pain issues with skating and running. Even though the problem mostly comes with skating, Fleet Feet was able to help me with the proper insoles and lacing techniques that could help with the foot pain. They ran me through some foot measurements/tests (took about 5 minutes) and they found insoles that helped tremendously! I have skated a few times since and the foot pain is gone. Thank you to the entire team, but especially the young lady who clearly knew her stuff and was extremely insightful!

I purchased some great trail running socks and combination mitten gloves with the help of a delightful and knowledgeable staff. The staff are runners and give confidence in product choices based on their personal experience. I'm also participating in a Fleet Feet training group for the second year in a row.

Best fitting and the most comfortable shoes I can remember buying. The entire experience was low pressure and more about educating me rather than just selling me some shoes. My sales person was kind, friendly, and very knowledge. I loved the entire experience and will definitively buy from Fleet Feet again.

Wow, wow, wow! The staff at this store are incredibly knowledgeable, patient and use impressive technology to figure out what shoes and orthotic inserts will help you the most. I’ve had multiple podiatrists and physical therapists over the past three years. NONE of them were as helpful as Ray at Fleet Feet in the Des Peres location. First of all, the scans they are able to do of your feet is more sophisticated than any podiatrist’s office I’ve been in. Second of all, they do NOT work on commission so no one is trying to sell you anything. But the most impressive thing to me was how they were able to identify the root cause of my foot issues. I am now on a path to actually fixing the issues, not masking it or the pain. My podiatrist said it would cost me $600 to get custom orthotics. I got them for $150 at Fleet Feet. I highly recommend going in, listening to them and taking their advice.

I can't express how different your shoe buying experience will be here. Ray welcomed us, explained the process, and then proceeded to help us learn a LOT about our feet and how we are walking. He then brought out shoes for us to try. I thought I always invested in my feet. However I have never purchased shoes with this much care and thought into them being right for me. I have chronic pain issues that can only be helped by having a good foundation. I don't run, I am not an athlete. This was still the best store for me.

Ray was fantastic to work with! He spent time measuring my feet, explaining the results and finding shoes that will work for my training efforts. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the team in the future!

These folks know what they are doing. I have plantar fascitis and they were able to fit me into the perfect shoe so i was able to use my inserts. Very comfy shoes. Fantastic individualized service. Highly recommend!

I've been coming into this store for 3 years now and they have never let me down yet in terms of service and quality of product. Upon arrival I was immediately attended to and given a place in line, despite it being busy in the store. Once I was attended to, the person working with me asked me a number of questions about my old shoes, my preferences in regards to a new show, and walked me through a few different pair that fit my needs. In the end, she was so helpful with her selection that in ended up buying two pairs instead of the one I came into get.

I went in to exchange a pair of running shoes I had purchased a few days ago and realized were not a great fit for me after a couple of runs. The entire staff here is awesome! Erica worked with me for at least 45 minutes patiently bringing out shoe after shoe and trying a dozen different arrangements of the laces on each to try to troubleshoot the issues I was having finding the right fit. She did not make me feel bad for being particular but not really knowing what I needed, either, and when we found the perfect pair, she seemed genuinely as excited as I was. I ran in them later and they were PERFECT, my feet have not felt that good while running in 10 years. Thank you so much Erica and Fleet Feet team!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had buying shoes. Extremely knowledgeable staff, kind and patient. My 80+ yr old mother and I were treated like we were the only customers in the store. I highly recommend this store and will shop here again.

I came in to be fitted for new shoes for the first time in a long while and was pleasantly surprised at how easy and painless it was! The sales associate was attentive and patient and gave me great advice and a totally personalized, high tech fitting process that landed me in the most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned. Highly recommend Fleet Feet for the top notch shoe buying experience!

I was getting purple toenails from running no matter what shoes I tried, and had stopped running as a result. Came to Fleet Feet, got fitted, tried out several pairs of shoes, and ended up buying the pair they'd initially recommended. I've had zero toenail issues since. It's rare in life to find such a simple solution to a years-long problem. The staff members were also genuinely enthusiastic about me getting back into running, which was touching, to be honest. Highly recommend this place.
