Black Lab Coffee Co Downtown

This is a really unique setup and I loved it. The decor was cool! I thought it was really awesome. I got the Black Lab latte. Very rich, very tasty. My husband got one of the seasonal drinks. Both together were about $7 after tax, so I think it's very affordable. The staff was kind and efficent and friendly. The barista answered all of our rambling questions and comments with grace. I'll definitely be back!

Best place for a study/work date! Top service, Michael is amazing. The coffee is great, the food is delicious and made with love. The atmosphere is always very welcoming

Best coffee in Springfield, no joke. They sell large delicious flavored drinks, and can prepare great traditional drinks as well. Nice short order food menu and friendly staff. This cafe is a great addition to Springfield!

Excellent coffee served in a ceramic mug. The barista and I were the only two in the place. We had a lengthy conversation about our love of coffee and various coffee making processes. I will go out of my way to go back there when passing through Springfield.

I always love finding new places to bring my pupachino! The coffee was good but being able to enjoy it with our good boy by our side was the cherry on top!

Woke up in my new place without a coffee maker, and a craving for coffee. Decided to skip my normal coffee routine and try something new. As soon as I walked into The Black Lab I was extremely excited! The atmosphere was wicked inviting and laid back, and was super unique. I really liked how there were so many unique options for coffee/drinks. I ended up trying I think the Mountaindog coffee and was blown away. The barista was super friendly and helpful! Will 100% be making this my new go-to coffee spot! Plus they have a pinch card system.. who doesn’t love free coffee!?!?

Whenever I’m in town I will be giving all of money to this business during the hours they are open. I nearly shed a tear biting into this amazing avocado toast. And the Peach, Pear, Apricot smoothie is other worldly levels of yum!

Foods almost too damn good!

Had a delicious “Goldendoodle” hot caramel latte on our way through from Texas to Wisconsin. Love local coffee shops. Great service, delicious drink, comfortable atmosphere and even a couple of treats for our Labradoodle Buddy! We will stop again and try a breakfast burrito!

Delicious coffee and avocado toast. This place was recommended by a friend and I’m glad I checked it out. It’s located in the downtown area and parking can be limited.

This place is legit 👌had a breakfast croissant along with a latte with a thick layer of foam ; both were absolutely amazing!!!!! Will definitely be back

This is such a homey feeling coffee shop. The guy taking orders was very respectful and looked very happy and pleasant. It’s smaller and has a lot of black walls and decor with a lot of natural wood, which gives it a very warm and welcoming feeling. The gentleman asked me if I wanted my coffee in a regular coffee mug or a to go cup which I think is a really nice touch that I’m not use to. It’s a great place to sit and do work. I’ve been trying a few different coffee shops in the area and I’ve been to about 5 of them and this had by far been my favorite😊
Oh and the coffee was wonderful. I believe I got the snickerdoodle!

1st visit to the downtown location. What a great spot to enjoy coffee with my wife. This location is loaded with little spots to enjoy your coffee whether your group is large or small. We a dedicated some breakfast items on this visit. Certainly good as well

Love their coffee! I don't drink plain drip coffee normally, but Black Lab's is the only one that I like so far! I also really love the baristas, they're super chill and make the environment feel safe. I was there a few months back and my friends and I really liked talking to one of the girls who was working there late at night.

Went here to try a new coffee place in the area. The goldendoodle frappuccino is a must try, very delicious! The atmosphere and customer service were also beyond friendly and inviting. The fact that they also allow dogs into their establishment is also a big plus given the fact that I can now bring my black lab to the black lab coffee company!!! How ironic!

I absolutely loved this place. It's so cute, and cozy. It's a very zen and calming place to be. Great to study. It's clean, the service was great, and the beverage's and food are delicious. I highly and strongly recommend trying this place out. You just have to, it's a new favorite of mine

Just moved downtown and was excited to try black lab. I’ve always been a Mudhouse regular. But Black lab has become my go to. Closer walking coffee and food are great.
Wish there was a larger vegetarian selection and a neighbor discount for people living downtown like some other places around.

I liked this coffee shop in downtown Springfield. They have a broad variety of drinks, and plenty of table space. The atmosphere inside is awesome, and I am bummed that I couldn't stay for longer than I did. If you're downtown, try it out!
