T.J.Max is fabulous! Extremely helpful Staff,great selections, very clean & safe aisles,check them out! Prices are nice & reasonable,in order to accommodate your budget. There 's plenty of parking ,of course,is in the New Bern Mall.There are also plenty of restaurants, in the area, so enjoy your visit....

Store is always organized layout makes it easy to stop and staff is very friendly. You can find almost anything you need for the house or for a gift here. From clothing, shoes, cosmetics, kitchen, bathroom, games, electronics, and more. Great deals on name brand items. Not too long of a wait time at check out either.

This is my favorite go to store. Of all the TJ Maxx stores, it is the best. I always find more at this location than Morehead City. They seem to be a week ahead. They have great prices and the employees are very helpful. Thank you for creating such a positive shopping atmosphere. The lady, Edie that works in the jewelry department was very kind to me. I wish I lived in New Bern. I would definitely shop here every day.

Mary was so helpful! (the one with the coolest hair) made friendly conversation about what i bought and gave out great energy overall :)

Took a long time to recover from covid... I'm talking about the store. But now it's as good as ever.

Edie is fantastic!! My experience was remarkable thanks to her. I have always enjoyed shopping at this location but today it seemed a little busier than usual. After waiting in line for maybe 10 minutes, I was called to register 6. Edie was the cashier taking my payment. Not only was she extremely nice and welcoming, but she’s also very good at her job. After ringing up my items, she offered the rewards program and I was skeptical because of my previous experiences using credit card rewards programs at different stores. Instead of her just saying “okay” and going about her day, she actually took the time to explain how exactly the rewards work, it’s plethora of benefits & she even suggested other helpful ways (outside of TJ Maxx) to build credit. Which she most definitely did not have to do. Like I mentioned earlier, today this location was quite busy and instead of complaining or acting tired, she was happy, communicated kindly, and did her job very efficiently. She went above and beyond to put in the extra effort that guarantees a good experience. These days it seems like good customer service is scarce so when I have an exceptional experience like the one I had today, I absolutely have to give credit/ write a review. She’s amazing at what she does and deserves a raise/promotion. I would go as far as to say she deserves a promotion above management like TJ Maxx’s equivalent to a district manager. I shop here each and every holiday in search of the seasonal product changes & spend anywhere from $50-$500 a month at different TJ Maxx locations (well over $10k throughout the years) and employees like her make me want to provide more business/ invest into the corporation even more often. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this, it’s quite a long review but definitely deserved. Please don’t take her for granted and recognize she has a huge impact on the customers that shop here! Edie, you are AMAZING. You have made my day. Thank you.

Store is clean, good sized dressing rooms. I actually found a good selection in plus size which isn't always easy. Check out moved well and cashier was very pleasant. Overall, a good experience. They also have a really good selection of bath and hair care products.

My wife is always dragging me in here to see something that she likes. The store is clean and well organized. They always have a cool collection of funky items for home décor so no wonder why my wife likes it so much. She is always finding something to bring home.

I had about 20 minutes to do some shopping and I was able to find what I wanted in that amount of time so I was very pleased with shopping there.

love this store, staff is super friendly and helpful. when the lines gets long as they do on the weekend, the staff always calls for back up cashiers so you are never waiting long. i only wish the store was bigger and had a bigger luggage section, other than that this store should be the training center for employees because they are pure perfection.

I have to pass this on for others. I went in the T.J. Max. Looking for anything flamingo. Due to the mail lost my package from Bealls. They went out of their way to look for anything flamingo. I was so surprised with all the help. I thanked them so much. So kind and helpful. I went to Ross to check there and not one person even tried. Thank you T.J Max for your customer service . Truly impressed.

The day I was in there, there was plenty of clearance items for Christmas. Never have a problem finding something to buy.

This my ultimate shopping experience. I shop religious there for jewelry. The selection is fabulous. You never know what you are going to find, from shoes, decorating, foods, kitchen ware, oh my...too much of everything. You won't regret it.

TJ Maxx is one of the greatest stores in New Bern at getting nice quality items for your personal self and home at an affordable price! I highly recommend the store against so many others that are high priced and overrated. I guarantee this store will not disappoint!
