Received a pair of expensive new headphones with a manufacturer's defect. Moon Audio took care of it promptly, free of charge. They have an excellent reputation for a reason.

The five stars is in recognition of Moon's remarkable sale's associate, Chris. He spent considerable time helping me resolve an issue that I was encountering with a DAP that I purchased through Moon. It's evident that Chris possesses a wealth of knowledge regarding the products Moon stocks. More importantly, Chris maintained an uncommon level of professional decorum throughout an endeavor that would have manifested in signs of frustration in the vast majority of customer service representatives. Chris is nothing short of elite at his job. Moon is lucky to have him on their team.

I've been dealing with Moon Audio by phone and email for the last couple of years and have never found them to be anything but forthcoming and helpful. I'm not very technically minded, and the owner, Drew Baird, has always been patient and generous with his time in answering my simple (and probably simple-minded) questions. Even more to the point, the gear I've bought from them--headphones, cables and interconnects, an amplifier, two DACs, and a CD transport--have all performed better than I expected and made substantial improvements in the sound quality of my systems. Since I've never been to Cary or had an opportunity to hear any of the components Drew recommended before purchasing them, that's the real clincher for me. Moon Audio has become my go-to dealer for high-end audio equipment, and I look forward to continuing to work with Drew and his staff in the future.

I've bought a number of headphones, DACs, and cables from Moon Audio over the last few years and have found Moon Audio be an excellent place to buy audio equipment . Their communication and advice is excellent, products are shipped super-fast, and any issues (e.g. I had a faulty Chord DAC) are dealt with very professionally and rapidly. I highly recommend them!

I decided to call Drew because I needed help selecting the right portable audio player and amp. Despite knowing very little about audio equipment and even less 'audiophile speak', Drew spent a considerable amount of time with me on multiple calls and emails and never spoke down to me or over my head. He was gracious enough to tell me I had great headphones although I didn't get them from his shop. The email followup to orders was immediate and shipments the same day. As I 'expand' my audio equipment, I won't go anywhere else.

Moon Audio is a family owned and run audio store specializing in medium to ultra-hi end components.I have been shopping there for about 5 years and they have opened my eyes to just how good music can sound using better equipment and wires.Drew and his wife Nichole are very down to earth people and they are very friendly and informative whether I am talking to them by email or over the phone.If I see a product on the Moon Audio website and I have questions about it I call the store (they have a physical store in Cary,North Carolina )and Drew will explain the details of the item I am looking at.It is rare that a store owner will take the time to answer phone calls when he has a world wide business but that is what they do.I may seem partial to them but I have been buying audio and video equipment for 20 years and have a small fortune tied up in 2 home theaters in my house and when I branched out into portable audio products I shopped at multiple outlets both local and online.I read about Moon Audio before I shopped there and the reviewer was raving about the Silver Dragon audio cables that Drew manufactures himself.I tried them and now I have Silver Dragon cables on all my in ear headphones and and to connect my DAC'S to my players.All I can say is try them and you will be a believer too.

Outstanding service! Drew was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting the best performance from my newly acquired Audeze LCD-4s. The Bryston amplifier, Dragon Black interconnect cables, and the Dragon Silver headphone cable are providing me with absolutely stunning performance. I recently had the pleasure of stopping in to view the huge selection of equipment at Moon Audio. I can not begin to express what an all-around professional, and pleasant experience the entire visit was. This is easily my new favorite place in Cary. I was allowed to listen to the set of headphones I was looking for (Sennheiser HD660 S), and also shown several other models within the same price range for comparison. There were tons and tons of different headphones, and amps to try. I never once felt talked down to, and was given free reign to make an informed decision. I have already recommended this place to everyone I know in the hobby, and will continue to do so. What an amazing place.
