Another Broken Egg Cafe

Went on a Thursday morning, and truly enjoyed our experience. Our waiter Josh was top notch and very attentive. Josh moved expeditiously to ensure our food was on time. I've never had service to that extent before! I ordered the French Toast Cinnamon Rolls, and I didn't want to mess up this visual masterpiece that taste as good as it looks, which is phenomenal. Next time I visit Raleigh, I will definitely be back. I'm sure all the staff members there are great, but request Josh if you can, you won't be disappointed. Oh, the City Grits are fire, no cap!

Wonderful place, great food, good atmosphere! I had the traditional breakfast with pancakes, while my friend had salmon eggs Benedict with city grits and all of it was delicious.

Shout-out to Mikey for making it such a wonderful experience, he was a great server - fast, friendly, and professional :)

Great food, little understaffed so service took a little while, but overall a nice restaurant

We were slow and the server didn't rush us at all. Coffee was great, food was great! I got to try an item I hadn't tried before, and I was not disappointed. The ham and cheese croquettes were DELICIOUS. The hollandaise sauce I ordered had mushrooms in it, and I am now a person that loves mushrooms. Will definitely be coming back as it's my favorite location!!
EDIT: We came back a week later and got the same server, Tristan!!! He signed our receipt, always kept the coffee hot, and made sure we were taken care of. I'm only asking for Tristan from now on, that's how good the treatment was!!!

Had some good options and super nice staff. Ordered something that's not usually offered on the menu and they were still able to do it. I'm not a big fan of waffles. Asked if I could do chicken and pancakes (instead of waffles) and asked if they could make it the cookie dough pancakes (they have cookie dough waffles on the menu)

They were able to do it for me and the waiter asked how it came out. It was.delicious and said he's never heard anyone doing that before and is going to recommend it to other customers. Love the vibe and how pleasant they are. Also went above and beyond getting my meal

The best breakfast place in Raleigh! This place is a must go, but it gets busy QUICK and they don’t take reservations. You can join their waitlist though and there’s a nice walking area around it for while you wait. The food and the drinks are well worth it.

Gotta say, I didn't know what to expect, but I was NOT disappointed!! Dan (the bartender) was friendly, informative & engaging, all while holding down the bar guests AND service bar (not so easy to do, I know from experience). He made solid recommendations and even tho I didn't go with them (the Lobster & Brie omelette wouldn't leave my brain once I saw it) I appreciate that he took the time to give me thoughtful suggestions.

The place was PACKED but it was worth my time and money. I look forward to visiting again when I come back to Raleigh so that I can work my way through the menu.

Another Broken Egg's food is top-notch. Highly recommend the Lobster & Brie Omelet - great flavor and fair pricing. Also got the Bananas Foster pancakes that were so good! The sauce was sweet, but not so sweet you can't finish your meal, and the bananas paired perfectly with the nutty pancakes. Cold brew coffee was delicious with hazlenut and vanilla creamer provided on the table. Service was excellent!

Breakfast doesn't get any better than this! Omelets are scrumptious, waffles are fab, and the fresh fruit bowls are better than I've seen anywhere! Our Gluten-Free friends were pleasantly surprised by all the options for them as well! They take all customizations and modifications in stride, and though we have eaten here many times, I've never had a single issue on an order! Even though it's a 40+ minute drive for us, we are making this our regular brunch spot! Keep up the great work!

PS- If I HAD to list an area of improvement, I would love to see a few specialty coffee options on the menu. ;-) Thanks!

OBSESSED!
We just moved here from Ohio, and are still trying to explore when we can without breaking the bank! This place has it all! Excellent coffee, fantastic staff, relaxed atmosphere, INCREDIBLE food… I highly recommend!

Our experience:
We utilized the ‘waitlist’ option on their site. This was absolutely amazing so we could add our names to list before even leaving the house!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Saturday brunch wait was over an hour. Parked in a parking garage across the street, and we walked in to check in - and we were next up for a table! Perfect!! We were sat at a clean table, where we were greeted quickly and placed our drink order. We got the Avo-Rita (avacado margarita - sounds wild but was SO good) and the Tito’s Bloody Mary. Delicious. For our meals : Lobster & Brie omelet served with potatoes and English muffin - Smoked Salmon Benedict with potatoes.

Great experience delicious burger! I had the classic bacon burger; it was very juicy. I also tried the chicken and waffles, the chicken itself was seasoned well and also met my expectations. Our waitress Ashley did an amazing job refilling our waters and constantly asking us how we were.

The food was amazing and the service even better! The drinks are the best spiked breakfast drinks I’ve had. 100% recommend to anyone in the area.

Very friendly staff. The food was amazing. Went on Mother’s Day and it was crowded but service was reasonable. I will definitely return when I’m in town.

The food was delicious. We were in Raleigh for an appointment and decided to try based on the reviews. It did not disappoint. The only "issues" is parking is limited in the area.

We visited around 10am on a Friday morning. It was fairly busy, but we were seated immediately. I had the Chicken, Mango & Spinach Salad. He had the Shrimp & Grits with 1 pancake on the side. The portions were very generous, and the price fair. The service and food were great. We'll definitely go back.

Visiting from Florida for Dreamville festival, needed some fuel and came across this location, the hostess was rude beyond belief, found seats at the bar which made up for the experience at the entrance. Dan the bartender is absolutely AMAZING! I had a complication with my meal but corrected it! The drinks are delicious! The food came out a bit cold but Dan was so great, it made up for the inconvenience. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll visit just for the bartender service alone!!! Thanks Dan for The Dan Shot! 🥃

Justin was awesome! So positive & friendly. We would come back just for him. The food was great too.

Great breakfast spot in the North Hills. We liked it so much we went twice in a week. Servers were all super friendly and it's a solid breakfast!
