This place is really awesome for kids of many ages. Super awesome. Enclosed climbing area with platforms of ropes for them to play on. Tiny trampolines to jump on. Unique, spinning toys, and slide, real rock climbing wall, and even a hammock. Fancy bridge you can walk over to tempt your fear of heights. Beautiful overlook of the Quarry Lake, joined by the skyline view of Winston Salem.

They have done some amazing reconstruction. The park is great for the bigger kids. Walking trails are wonderful. Bike and dog friendly. Scenic sight of the quarry. I can not wait to see the new flower garden in the spring and summer. They even have a cat truck bed and front loader for the Littles to climb on. The butterfly chairs are great for pictures.

Such an amazing park, hidden away, yet so close to where we live. We will be back! Also, the kids' playground is very cool, with things I've never seen at parks. I highly recommend a visit for all ages.

We stopped here after my daughter's soccer tournament. Visiting from out of town we came across this park. My girls enjoyed everything here. My kids loved the playground. There was so much to do. The dirt digging was their favorite. Climbing. Slides. They were entertained for a few hours. They didn't want to leave. I enjoyed the beautiful view from the Quarry. We all had a great time.
Wish we could've stayed longer to do a trail.

I was in town for a conference and found this park on a whim but it was a wonderful discovery. What a beautiful place! If I had the time I would spend all day out there. Very clean park, well taken care of, with visual caretakers on the grounds. Breathtaking overlook.

We visited Quarry Park when it first opened several times, but what they have done with the play area is incredible! And how it all ties into the quarry vibe and what was there before is really cool. Our boys (5, 4 & 2) loved it. Also a great place to ride scooters.

Such a great spot for kids, The quarry got some bycicle and pedestrian trails, some tables if you want to dine in, restrooms; educational information about this kind of rocks and a stunning forest and lake view..

Excellent educational experience, views, wonders, at this location. The park area is highly adventurous, a real treat for both the kids and adults. Someone really put a lot of care in designing the play area, keeping the kids safety in mind. Hopefully will visit the area in about 6mo, to enjoy all the finishing touches at this site.

We loved this little park. They had bikes you could use for free, so many cool rocks with detailed descriptions. They are building something that looks like a play ground but over all it was super cool and informative. They have a little lock bridge that goes over the quarry which is such a cute little touch, if your a couple visiting, DONT FORGET TO BRING A LOCK!☺So many cute locks with anniversaries on them.

A nice little gem of a location, pretty cool idea to build around the quarry. Worth stopping to take a break at on a road trip like we did.

Winston-Salem has really made this place into something grand. Off the Salem Creek Greenway is an old quarry turned into a beautiful lake and park. This park has a cool playground for the kids and beautiful views of the lake. A walkway over hang allows you to see all of the water. Beautiful.

Great playground and trails. The trails are all paved, and are great for wheelchairs. There are some steep hills on the trails though. The main part of the park and the overlook of the quarry were easy/manageable when we took my father-in-law there in his wheel chair. There is some old pieces of construction equipment on display.
