I love this place. Well equipped for exactly what it is and aims to be, this is a true barbell club with plenty of free weights, bars, dumbbells, essential machines, etc to really get down and put in some work. Loved the seamless 24-hr access, easy membership, etc. Everyone I encountered, which was pretty rare, was courteous and positive. Easy to blast tunes on the sound system when I was the only one. Great place!!

One of the best gyms I have worked out at! Not only is it 24/7, it also has such a diverse layout of equipment and amenities. It is not super crowded at night so you can get a great workout in if you are a night gym goer like me! If I ever live closer I will definitely return!

This was a great experience from the moment I walked in and met the owner. His passion for fitness, and the way that it impacts mental health focuses on wellness for the whole self. This definitely feels like a place without judgment, where everybody is focused on becoming their best. It’s an encouraging vibe with a lot of equipment variety and a friendly atmosphere. I appreciate the “neighborhood” vibe. It was clean inside and convenient for my wonky work hours. I enjoyed working out here when I lived in the area.

Personally I love it for the price it’s great everything you need for a full body work out and more and 24/7 is great for me especially in the morning everyone is nice and the vibe is nice overall 10/10

I've been a member of Styrka for the last five years and it's perfect for me! I now own my own studio gym but I still come in to Styrka minimum of once a week because you can't beat the community and equipment variety. The machines are all top-of-the line and well-kept and the owner is excellent about communicating if anything ever comes up. Best gym I've ever been to!

I joined this gem of a gym back in January of 2017 and was there for almost 2 years before I moved too far away to make it feasible for me to go. Now that I’m back in the area I will be joining again. The atmosphere is unbeatable and Mike does a fantastic job at making you feel at home but also giving you your space when you’re lifting. It is the perfect Olympic/powerlifting/functional lifting gym. Mike has set up a truly special place for people to come to and lean on each other for advice. I think my favorite part is diversity of the members. Young/older men/women. I know when I show to sign back up Mike will make it feel like I never left. If you’re ever in south Tulsa you must check it out!

Great gym. Primarily free-weight based - excellent equipment quality and quantity for essentially no waiting at any time of the day. Being open 24/7 is underrated. Mike, the owner, is very helpful and works hard to make this a welcoming gym for all levels of fitness. While I personally have not utilized using a personal trainer, the few interactions I have had with them have been very positive. The PTs are very invested into the success of their clientele, in meeting all levels of fitness goals.

This is the one and only strongman gym in Tulsa. They have the widest variety of functional equipment in town. Their trainers are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They even buy the most expensive toilet paper to provide to their members! That should give you a good idea of how much they care for their members and put the money from your monthly dues back into the gym.

I have both worked as a trainer and simply interacted at Styrka as a member while training out of another gym and can wholeheartedly recommend this place in both capacities.

It is a smaller place but that just adds to the charm and close-knit vibe. Rarely will you have to wait for any piece of equipment and the gym itself is kept clean and never gets crazy crowded, even during peak hours. When dealing with a pandemic in a southern state, this is paramount!

I was visiting Tulsa for a few weeks during the summer and needed a place with kettlebells that wasn't too expensive. I looked at maybe five different gyms and they all basically wanted me to sign up for a year membership then immediately cancel - really expensive. The guy who runs Styrka was really cool and gave me a good deal for the three weeks I was in town. About the gym itself, it's a nice little gym for people who are serious about lifting weights - regardless of their skill level - everyone is there to workout, not to show off or anything else.

This is the best kept secret in Tulsa! I have yet to find another gym in the area that has as 4 dead-lift platforms, 5 squat racks, and a competition bench. Not to mention all of the other equipment in there.
The community is amazing! Everyone is helpful, and genuinely nice. I've made quite a few friends in the short time that I have spent there. I now know just about everyone in the lunch crew, and I get a welcoming hello every time I step foot in there.
The facility is very clean, and well managed.

I dropped in for 4 days on a business trip. Excellent gym! Everyone was friendly, the gym was clean, bathrooms were clean, and they had everything I needed to train. For any Olympic lifters out there, they have 2 platforms, set of jerk blocks, competition ready barbells and bumper plates, 4 squat racks, and more than enough equipment for accessory work. Not to mention that they are open 24 hours a day. I am definitely going back next time I am in Tulsa.

I highly recommend this gym. The place is filled with great training equipment for all types of needs and goals, either it is a bodybuilding, cross-fit, or popular fitness, for extreme or slow pacers. It is a newer gym that is very clean; there are enough at hand sanitary amenities that many places lack. The place has a security system and electronic access for the members. There is unassuming, friendly, always inviting atmosphere, and good music selection too. Also, Mike, the owner, is the kind of personal trainer who has a superb knowledge of body build and exercise physiology. He is very friendly and approachable, and always willing to answer training questions of anyone at the gym. He just loves what he does and does it with incredible patience and commitment.

Styrka is a great, no BS gym that i have enjoyed for over more than a year. It offers 24 hour access, strongman equipment, powerlifting and a positive atmosphere. For 30 bucks a month I will continue giving this gym my business.

I miss this gym, Mike's a great owner and patient with dingbats like me who tend to forget paperwork. The gym is always clean, the staff friendly. I had to leave due to personal and financial issues but I know when I'm up to it again I can come back home, to Styrka!

Styrka is an amazing gym. Perfect for those that want an atmosphere where they can feel at home, not judged, and always given encouragement. Highly recommend a membership, and if you're in need of a personal trainer, they have those too!

It’s a bit smaller gym than I’m used to but since it’s open 24/7 you don’t have to worry about ever finding a rack or a deadlift platform. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! I accidentally paid my membership twice and he refunded me on one of them without making a big deal about it!

This place is a good option if you are visiting town and looking for somewhere to exercise. It is 24/7 and you use an app to enter during off-hours. The owner is responsive and during waking hours usually gets back to you within a few hours. He is often in during the evening if you want to catch him in person. There is a wide selection of weightlifting equipment and some cardio equipment as well. It is not a fancy place but well-equipped nevertheless. It also has facilities such as a shower, microwave, and fridge. It might have a towel but you can bring your own to be sure. The website has a user-friendly sign-up and payment process.

I’ll be honest and say I’ve never trained at Styrka. However, I have reached out to Mike on multiple occasions for professional advice. Before even fulling knowing me, he lent a helping hand. The knowledge and professionalism he shared has been something I’ve strived to mirror at my own my gym. He was suggested to me by other fitness professionals as “the guy to go to”. So from then on I suggest to individuals to seek him out whenever they need speciality information when it comes to strength training.
