Great accommodations, service is a huge factor in my book and they knocked it out of the park. Especially the front desk guy named Max! Excellent character, and personality. Helped with much more than standard service, helped with locations on visits, restaurants. You name it Max is the guy to go to.

The staff are so friendly and the rooms (we had two) were incredibly clean, the tub shined! I would stay here again and again. Goldsboro is a country town and being from the south some of the previous reviews have nothing to do with how clean the hotel is. No matter how much you clean sometimes in the south you will find things inside you may not want to. We did not see anything. The fridge was clean and my only regret was not having more cash to tip the housekeeper more than I did. Remember to tip your housekeeper people!! :)

I am a travel nurse and am housed in a suite where I can cook and basically feel like ho.e while I am out of the comfort of my own home. The staff is great and accommodating. I couldn't ask for a better place to be...I'm jumping I. The pool before I leave here!!! 😂

Clean Rooms, Friendly Guest Service, very close to Wal-Mart for out of town visitors. Just in case you need to pick up some food to cook in your room. My wife and I actually purchased some food from Chilli’s also. All of which is only a 0.7 mile drive. Helen prepared a delicious breakfast.

We picked this hotel based on reading previous reviews here and at surrounding pet friendly hotels. We were so pleased with our stay here! The room was clean, sheet were clean (and smelt fresh too)! The two woman at the front desk who helped us check in were very friendly! They also don’t seem to be discriminatory towards different pet breeds and sizes, which is always a plus in my mind!! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The TownePlace Suites in Goldsboro is more then I expected. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk personnel was pleasant and fast. I also like when I arrived i inquired if this was college town. The Front desk staff told me that most of the customers are from the airforce base. Being an Army Family I joked it was the chair force base. The front desk staff stated she respects all the military branches and she was a patriot. It was great to hear that the young people still respect our military

Made an online reservation looking for decent hotel in Goldsboro NC while on a last minute trip to visit my son. Arrived and check was smooth and quick. I appreciated the well lit hallways to the room. I stayed in a king size studio. The room had a kitchen with a stove and full size fridge which I wasn't expecting. There was silverware and plates and bowls. There was a big closet/pantry with extra pillows/blankets/ironing board and iron. There was a big desk area and a couch. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a "normal" door to the bathroom, not a slide door! If I had stayed longer I definitely would have utilized the kitchen! I also loved that they had a sign of necessities/kitchen appliances you could borrow! There was continental breakfast that consisted of waffles, sausage biscuits, oatmeal, juice and coffee. Overall, my stay was pleasant and the rate of the room was fair. I will stay there again next time I'm in town.

Several members of our family came in from out of town for a memorial service.
The hotel rooms were really nice. Was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a small, but complete kitchen in our rooms. Everything in the room was "just right". Quick check-in, very comfortable, clean and they were able to put us all on the same floor with rooms next to each other.

A great big shout out to "Tee Tee" the lady in the kitchen area that made us all a great breakfast. Talk about southern hospitality!!! She went over and beyond!! Super friendly and fun. She even made us to-go bags for our long trips back home. (Keep up the good work Tee Tee!!!!)

All in all, this hotel is reasonably priced, clean and easily accessible to the highway and various shopping and food areas. A+ rating from a Pittsburgh gal!!!

We had a terrible experience at a previous hotel and Manager John Turner said they would make our experience pleasurable. Well to say the least; our experience was impeccable at TownePlace Suites. The customer service was pure Excellent!!!! Thank you John Turner and your entire hotel team. I highly prefer and recommend this hotel.

Staff was nice and very accommodating (Kenneth & Chenelle). Room was clean, had all the dishes needed for preparing a meal. Continental breakfast was satisfactory. Hotel is close to shopping and fast food chains. Will definitely be my choice if I’m in Goldsboro again, and will absolutely seek this chain out when I travel to other cities. Way to go Marriott!

We stayed in this Marriott location in Goldsboro NC over the past weekend. We were there for 3 nights. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the continental hot breakfast that was provided. I had a few questions that I needed addressed, at all times I found the staff especially accommodating and willing to go the extra mile when I needed a few adjustments. Elizabeth was especially helpful in adjusting the main TV in the living area of our room. As far as the rooms, it exceeded our expectations. W e had a two bedroom suite with super neat closets that are not like any other closets I've seen in a hotel. Each room had it's own thermostat allowing us to adjust each room according to the comfort of each individual. Service was with a smile, people remember your name and are willing to do what it takes to make you happy. After realizing my Tripple AAA discounts was not applied, it was taken care of immediately, with a smile. Bravo to the staff and management for making this a pleasant stay, we did not want to leave, but will be back for an annual trip next year and will be requesting the same suite!

I was not impressed with the price at checking for the area but it was close to the class. Was pleased to see it was a very clean establishment , friendly staff who even offered me Advil and juice at her expense knowing that I had a headache. Beds were very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Very nice upgragraded/new/remodeled rooms with granite and kitchens. Excellent breakfast. Service and accommodations were excellent all around and was worth the price paid

Great hotel, currently here in one of the suites. They have a kitchenette fully stocked with full size refrigerator. Complimentary breakfast. As well close to the main highway and walmart is within walking distance. Not to mention its absolutely beautiful here in Goldsboro

We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom queen suites and the rooms are very cozy. The kitchen comes supplied with everything you need to cook your own meals. The staff here are also very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their guests.

A clean place and has a lot of restaurants in close driving distance.

So, I'm not ready to go home and I love my home lol. From check-in to check-out (in 3hrs of writing this) I have enjoyed my stay. This location is well updated and was perfect for me. This is the first Marriott stay in over a year that I received housekeeping services within my stay and that was impressive. This is my 2nd stay at a TPS and it has restored my faith. It can definitely compete with Residence Inn and is now in my Top Two. I will be back to the area and will stay here again. I recommend highly.
