I had never been to Goldsboro before and i was trying to find a decent place to stay with my kids while being out there for a week. The reviews had me a little worried but comparing to the other hotels i figured this one might be the best shot. .i was not disappointed. Nothing against the other reviews but my experience was amazing. I stayed here with my 4 kids 3 days and them came back for another 2. Great hotel. Super comfortable bed...very clean. Breakfast was basic and waffles were gross but staff was nice and Breakfast still wasnt bad. Hotel pool was nicer than it looked on the pictures too. . Definitely will stay here again if i come back out

Great stay! Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in, room was very clean (as I’ve seen with every Hilton property), bed was very comfortable, pillows were great. Breakfast was pretty good, I had a sausage and egg muffin and some cereal. Overall, a great stay!

Beautiful and clean. Carpets felt brand new, beds had layers and were incredibly comfortable. Surprised the ratings aren't higher here.

Was just passing through but extremely kind front desk staff both morning and night. We will definitely stay here again. Rooms are extremely clean.

The heater in the pool was not working, and the temp outside was chilly. This has been broken for 2 yrs. Kids want to get in the pool. This needs to be fixed. The breakfast should be fully stocked and maybe add some real meat choices. Other than these things, I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is not a Hilton. There are curtains hanging to divide the room (get the hospital aesthetics vibe) but no door on the bathroom (sorta out house feeling lol). They only clean the room on Thursday (hell I come here not to clean up). We had to change rooms because it smelt mildew and the carpet felt wet. There are bugs. The furniture is dirty. The door doesn’t close good. The first room didnt have a toilet seat I don’t even wanna give a star. Posted 5 star to get atttention
The staff is awesome.

Staff was kind. Rooms were large! The hotel had a good gym, good size pool, some outdoor seating, and pretty good breakfast.

Amazing place to stay! My first time staying there. It had a full size refrigerator and plates, cups, utensils but no stove. Right across the street in the one I stayed in was Walmart, Longhorn, and in the same parking lot at the hotel was Outback. Bring in your food and eat on plates and not from a takeout box! I would stay here more than Marriott whereas the room accommodate 4 people. Pull out table to eat on and more space.

For an off the highway stay, this hotel and staff were excellent. Amenities weren't bad at all. I look for cleanliness, most updated and staff, it met all 3 reasonably well, especially the staff.

The staff alone is enough to have me come back. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and nice and genuinely wanted to help. They made us feel incredibly welcome and everything was clean and accomodations for the room were perfect.

This was our 4th stay at this Home2Suites and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. This location is very convenient to many restaurants and shopping in the area. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast bar is well stocked with a variety of items.
This is a pet friendly hotel and they do make accommodations for pets with a pet walking area and waste disposals located within the dog walking area.
The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and what the hotel has to offer.
We came and went at all hours of the day and night and felt very safe in the parking lot and the surrounding area.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! Let me start off with the fact that we had our dog and two small children. The breakfast was awesome. It was really convenient having a kitchenette in our room and the room itself was cozy and comfortable. The staff was helpful with anything we needed and super friendly. I’m so happy we discovered Home2 suites and look forward to staying with them again in the future!

We needed extra towels, the young lady at the front desk, said they didn’t have any clean ones and that she would wash some. We appreciated that.

This is great place to stay at in my opinion. The location is perfect right across the highway and close to stores. The room is certified sanitized but I went back and sanitized it myself (just because). The room looked nice and elegant and I appreciated the design. It's very modern. Stand up shower, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, pull out couch, etc. I'd stay here again the next time I come here! BIG PLUS: the pool is open but you need to make a reservation. I love it here :)

2022 August, we checked in late, so room 215 was our only option. The king bed frame had sharp edges because the box spring and mattress was not sitting on the bed correctly (poorly aligned and or assembled) and the light on the night stand on the left side of the king bed was not working. The chains for raising the 2 separate blinds were on the same side, so it took me a while to raise the blinds in the morning. Laqueeta was very nice, friendly, personable and helpful. She helped me while I was fixing my breakfast.

2021 December, king room was very nice, personnel that worked the complimentary breakfast was very nice, friendly and helpful. We left our daughter's backpack there, called one day, it was not in the lost and found, called the next day and it was in the lost and found and lady at front desk said that they would ship it to us and charge the credit card that was on file. We received our daughter's backpack at our home in a few days in a box in excellent condition. Pool room and the water were cold, so we opted not to get in the pool during the winter.

2021 Memorial day weekend. Tried to check in cis Hilton honors app but was not intuitive, therefore not successful, so we had to walk in and check in at the front desk. The front desk staff gave us the (king bed) room we requested even though the Hilton honors app showed only queen bedrooms available. The king bedroom was very nice, shower and bathroom was nice too. We had a closet, tall refrigerator with freezer, kitchen sink, microwave, dishwasher, pull out table with chair at the long desk, a Samsung TV that we could connect our devices to via HDMI cable, called the front desk to ask how to change the input source on the TV, and found buttons at the bottom of the TV on the right side. Slept well in the king bed, air conditioner and heat controlled from wall mounted thermometer, temperature was very nice and comfortable. The first night, we walked down to the pool, saw that it said only 4 people in the pool at a time, reservations required at front desk, we walked to front desk, they fell in love with our 1 year old daughter, they said we should be fine getting in the pool since there were only 3 teenage boys scheduled to be there and a family later on. We eventually made it to the pool, so our 3 year old daughter could get in the pool, the 3 teenage boys were in the pool and the family arrived the same time that we arrived. The family was nice and spoke to us and our kids and we enjoyed the same side of the pool that they were on, practiced social distancing as well. The color of the water in the pool was blue and you could smell the chlorine in the water but it was not overbearing at all. The pool seemed nice and clean and very well kept. They had pool towels near the pool and a hamper for the dirty used towels. They had some chairs around the pool as well. The pool was between 3 feet and 5 feet deep. After arriving at the hotel and after check-in, we drive to the back of the hotel to park our vehicle and unload, we were not able to use the Hilton honors app digital key, so we called the front desk and someone came and opened the back door and our room and showed us how to use the key card to open the room door and door to get to the parking lot. Just hold the card key close to the door for a few seconds and it will unlock, room door unlocks quicker than the parking lot door. Sam's Club is right around the corner, nearby to the hotel and we had few options for gas stations via GasBuddy app.

This is my favorite hotel in the area. They are pet friendly, have a safe breakfast bar with plenty of options, and the sofa beds in the room have pull out couches. I wish I would have known in advance that you have to reserve the pool for your family (or for the people you are traveling with). When we arrived the only slot available for both days of our stay was 7am the next morning. So, reserve early!

Never been to a Home2Suites before but I have been to many Hilton Hotels. This place did not disappoint. It has full fridges, microwave, burners by request and the best part was it had a table for my family to ear on instead of how we normally have to eat on the beds. Awesome place!

I would like to put a good word in for the lady who helps with breakfast during the week. We were staying due to a death in the family and she went above and beyond to make our stay great. Rooms were clean and I would stay here again. Wonderful hospitality.
