Banjara Indian Boutique, North Carolina

I was looking for something beautiful, yet comfortable for my spur-of-the-moment wedding ceremony last month. With the pandemic, I didn't feel comfortable doing very much in-store shopping, so I looked for places online. When I found the Banjara website, I made an appointment and it was the best decision I could have made. With less than a month before my wedding date, and no idea what style of Indian clothing I wanted to wear, I was a very slow and indecisive customer. Thank goodness for the patience of the sweet woman who assisted me. She answered a million questions and showed me tons of fabric before I settled on what I wanted. There was a beautiful material in the store, which I loved, but I spoke aloud that I wished it were a slightly different color.
The sales woman took my measurements, told me she would do her best to have my clothing to me on time, and I left.

Fast-forward to a couple of days before my wedding and I still didn't have my clothing. I was in a panic, but the lady assured me she was doing everything she could to make sure I had everything on time.
My clothing arrived on my wedding day and when I went to the store to retrieve it, I was amazed to see that it was made from the exact color that I mentioned I wished I could have.
It was absolutely beautiful and she tailored it to fit me perfectly and pinned my scarf in place for me before I left. She even helped me pick jewelry that accented the fabric perfectly.

They did a phenomenal job in a very short time and I received many compliments on the clothing.
This woman did everything she possibly could in order to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day--including camping out at the shipping distribution center so that she could pick up my clothing in person, instead of waiting for delivery.

I would absolutely recommend this boutique, and I would shop there again.

The lady here was very patient. She had about 8 people to help all by herself, and I was a very indecisive American that had no idea what to buy and had too cheap of a budget to get what i wanted. She was so nice I wanted to buy from her- so I decided i would spend twice what i had planned to buy the outfit i wanted. They aren’t overpriced, i just didn’t know what to expect to spend. But I LOVE my two piece dress! She has so many beautiful pieces it’s hard to choose! This boutique is a must see! ***I must also admit i procrastinated till the last minute to buy my outfit the night before the wedding. So she even tailored my top in 5 minutes and it fits perfectly! She’s a clothing genius!

The owner is very helpful and welcoming. They have an amazing selection of modern and unique styles. I had never seen this wide selection of Indian clothing in North Carolina. Found exactly what I was looking for. Prices are very reasonable then other in town. I recommended this place to everyone to visit at least once, if you are looking for quality product. I will definitely coming back in this shop again. Also got my FREE GIFT!!

We went in to look at Marriage/Wedding attire. Was a great experience. The owner was quick and very friendly to greet us. She was very helpful with showing us different designs and colors and let us try them on. She took time to explain how they would customize and get whatever we wanted. Great overall experience.

Words cannot express the selection and service Banjara has. I've almost been to every Indian clothing store in the area and this by far has the most stylish and affordable selection. The lady that works there, I believe her name is Charm, always welcomes me in, spends time going showing me different outfits, and gives me a very honest opinion - which I appreciate when shopping for clothes.

I whole heartedly recommend this store to anyone.

Had to get an outfit for my friend’s wedding and was recommended this place by a local due to their selection. As someone who has never been to an Indian wedding, not generally one to wear elaborate/blingy outfits, and plus size, you can imagine how daunting this purchase was for me. The owner of the shop, Charm helped to ease all of my concerns. She made some great recommendations regarding which outfits would be easier and simpler to wear (we settled on lenghas as opposed to a saree) and helped with fitting and ideas for what I was looking for with what seemed like an endless amount of patience.
In terms of options, she had a good selection of outfits and most importantly tops and that could be tailored for someone plus size. The skirts all were fairly large and the waists can be cinched to size. The tops did come in base sizes but most had additional fabric sewed into the seams so that if the top was too tight it would be easy to adjust. That for me was the biggest selling point as having visited some other shops in the area, the only options I was given was to wear large gowns (not my style) or to have a top custom tailored (would take more time than I had available).
Would highly recommend, great experience.

Hidden gem in Morrisville! This boutique has a great selection of colorful, well made garments at different price points. Has both traditional and more modern, indo-western designs. Will definitely be going back!

We were looking for a legenga for my teenage daughter. We looked everywhere around Morrisville, some places were to pricy, and few had no good collection. We did not think very highly of the store, but we thought we could take a look at it. Once we stepped in, we were really mesmerized because the collection was very good and so was the quality as well as the prices. Me & my daughter was more than happy with the result. We would highly recommended other to visit Bhanjara Indian Boutique if your looking for some good stuff which are resonably priced.
