Holiday Inn Express & Suites Goldsboro - Base Area, an IHG Hotel

I stayed here recently and received excellent customer service from Zsa at the front desk. She was so friendly and accommodating! She was kind and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The room was clean and the hotel is conveniently located in the center of town with easy access to the highway.

Everyone is very friendly the rooms are clean and neat. Housekeepers always acknowledge you and make sure that you don't need anything and that your stay as well

The experience here was exceptional, from the staff to the clean rooms and available services. The staff greets you with a smile and make good conversation. They have an indoor pool and a wide variety of breakfast options. Room also had an amazing view of the city.

Newer modern Hotel with nice update features. Heated indoor pool. Pool is smaller indoors but nice when it is winter. Good strong WiFi, Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable and Ac cools great on a hot day. Nice desk work area. Had a fridge in the room
Great location , near all the restaurants in Goldsboro.

Staff was extremely friendly. The indoor pool was very warm. The rooms were nice and they had a bunch of board games set up in the lobby after hours which made my 8 year old extremely happy. The only thing I would say is breakfast was not that great. Although the breakfast attendant was extremely friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights and was very happy. Our only complaint is the mattress was a bit too firm for us. The staff was excellent! We had an issue with the fridge, I mentioned it to Amber at the desk so that they could take care of it and 15 mins later there was a knock at the door and there she was with a different fridge! I was completely shocked and pleasantly surprised! From the minute I walked in to check in everyone was super nice. The hotel is really clean and Breakfast is worth getting up for. Overall we had a great stay.

The room and building were clean, the staff was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again.

Amber was super helpful, I had been to 2 other hotels with horrible experiences and was exhausted, the staff here went above and beyond to make sure my kids and I had a good experience.

With exception to the breakfast staff, this was a good stay. Expressed concerns about breakfast staff coomenting and complaining about patrons acting like children. I was even scolded by a lady for pushing trash down. The front desk said, "We never know what we're going to get from her."

I stayed there for spring break at busco Beach atv Park and I loved the staff and the room everything was a 5 star I come back to busco Beach I will stay there again

Didn't stay, was meeting a friend for dinner. Room was giant, clean, and well maintained.

Excellent cleanliness, service, and breakfast. Perfect stop if you are headed from the NE to Florida.

Clean rooms, hot breakfast was good. The only complaint is I called to get extra towels and washcloths and was told to come downstairs to the front desk to get it.

I am an IHG member and I travel a lot and I must say this staff was the friendliest of all. This property is currently undergoing renovation and Shelby and housekeeping made every effort to resolve issues the renovation caused. They went above and beyond great customer service. Thank you.

This place is a home away from home. I have, yet, to check in , and don't feel welcomed. The rooms are very well kept, clean linens, spacious rooms, towels, coffee maker, refrigerator, etc. There is indoor swimming pool, I didn't get to yet. Maybe on my next visit. Breakfast is to die for. A great variety 👌. Always free coffee. Staff are always very professional and welcoming. Ideally location also. Great stay

Comfy room with modern updates, and felt very relaxing here. Very small exercise room, pool small and no hot tub but great for kids to still play in. Nice continental breakfast with your traditional foods and plenty of sitting areas.
Very friendly staff who were amazing and had breakfast a bit earlier for me and my staff. They knew we had to leave early in the morning before it started and had the food set up extra early to help us eat before heading to work. Hotel is very modern and trendy.

I travel for a living and have been a Holiday IHG member for the last 21 years. I have found this hotel and its staff from the night auditor, to the two nice ladies at the front desk to the housekeepers to the man who was cleaning the elevator and the floors that i had a chance to meet and talk to were just absolutely wonderful, courteous, would acknowledge you and just had a smile on their face. So refreshing to see from other Holiday Inn's i have stayed at.
The young lady at the front desk was nice to set up a breakfast for me as i had to get up early the next day. The night front desk person even made me coffee in the morning, how nice was that! Keep smiling !

In town for birthday party. Rooms clean. Staff friendly. Great breakfast. Table Games available on weekends for kids of all ages and adults.
Great stay. Will return on next visit.

Very nice rooms. Clean. Comfortable beds. Hospitable staff. They seem to be making some needed changes to their housekeeping staff; as one day they took our dirty towels, but did not replace them, and did not empty the trashcans. Would still highly recommend!
