TownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbia West/Lexington

We recently stayed for a wedding,which was nearby. They graciously reserved a lot of rooms for us and our guests on the same floor.
I heard a lot of comments from our family and guests about how much they enjoyed their stay here. The rooms were great and There was plenty of room at the hotel to gather and talk.

We had an incredible stay at TownePlace and give it our best recommendation for anyone staying in the area! Everyone (including Kalye) was so kind and helpful - they allowed us to check in early to spend more time with family AND gave great suggestions for fun local Christmas activities! The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast & coffee is delicious, the room was clean & really nice, plenty of parking and we were centrally located to any needed conveniences & restaurants! Also - if traveling with pets (as we were) they have a great spacious area for dogs with waste bags as well. If you're passing through or staying for an extended period - you can't do better than this place!

Pleasantly surprised the room had a kitchenette in it. Came in extremely handy staying a week. Very very clean, pretty good free breakfast. But they lock the front door after midnight or so. Little inconvenient when trying to get in carrying a lot.

Really nice place to stay and really clean. Great and friendly staff. Close to Lexington Medical Center. Close to the Interstate and close to many amazing restaurants. The Riverbanks Zoo is nearby, and easy to find things to do. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely a great place all around to stay. Spotless rooms, awesome bed and a quiet area. The staff is great. Don't waste your time looking at somewhere else, this is the best!!

I have been staying at this location for close to a year. The Staff is very friendly and courtesy. The staff is always ready to assist anyone with help with a smile and a pleasant attitude. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with items for your stay.

We had a 12 hour trip down here for work and arrived before check in but they made sure to accommodate us without question. Those little things mean the world after a long period of driving or traveling. The last thing I'd have wanted to do was find somewhere to kill time till check in like they could have said. The little kitchenette with a almost full size fridge, plates, cups, silverware, etc was really nice to have. I'd Def stay here again especially with our 3 week schedule. Eating out every night is pricey as well as hard on my stomach, being able to go to the store and having a place to put food and drinks makes a world of difference. This is a decent option if a cheap air bnb isn't available or not in the price range to put up multiple people. 140 a night for 2 beds with the kitchen was very reasonable having those amenities at your fingertips. Trying to have anything extra in your room when there is only a small mini fridge for 2 ppl isn't realistic in the slightest.

My only complaint is to have a little surge protector behind the TV so you can plug in a device of your own. There is only 1 outlet back there and they have the TV plugged in, as well as that device the cable and any accessories run through so that it all works off that bonvoy menu thats on the tv when turned on. I ended up going to Walmart and picking up one that ill leave in my work traveling bag but this is the first hotel I've ran into the situation of having no where to plug my xbox 1 in. I use my xbox for youtube, streaming apps etc. And wasn't trying to go without and be stuck watching the same show over again and again.

We ended up having to stay here last minute due to our son being in NICU. They ended up asking us why we were staying and offered us a room discount even though we already booked through a third party. Room is great, lobby is set up great, even the breakfast is unique and hits the spot.

Best hotel ever! Amazing staff and super clean rooms. 👌 They make you feel right at home. Having the firepit outside to stay warm during the winter has been a really nice touch.

We stayed a bit over a week and a half due to our home having work done. The hotel itself was above average but I'm writing this review to highlight the wonderful staff. Kaylee and Cassidy are two absolutely wonderful and made our stay wonderful.
Kaylee is on top of things and Cassidy is so sweet. Our 15 month old was so excited everytime we walked by the front desk to see them. Thank you ladies❤

Overall this is a nice hotel, especially if you're looking for a little extra room to stretch out. Rooms include a small kitchenette with a stovetop so basic meals can be prepared. The room itself was large enough for our family of four to be comfortable in, and you could tell that the furniture was new and well kept. There's a small outdoor pool which was great for our kids to enjoy, but no clean towels available outside. Breakfast in the morning was nice, with a decent enough spread of food, though some of the food ran out and there was a lack of bowls. Service was very friendly, and there's plenty of parking in the parking lot. Overall this is a solid place to stay, especially for families looking for larger rooms.

Had a great stay with my family while in town for the zoo! The staff were extremely friendly, always saying welcome back when we returned for the day.
The rooms were spacious and most importantly clean! Loved having a kitchen with a full fridge, dining area, and lounge chair along with two queens. Beds were soft and the bathroom was roomy. The pool area was nice. My kids had a blast cooling off after a hot day at the zoo.
Speaking of which, the location is great. It's very close to the interstate, with the zoo being a short 10 min drive away. There are plenty of food options nearby, even in walking distance. Kiddos love walking from the pool to get some frozen custard across the lot. They offer a free hot breakfast. It wasn't the best I had, but definitely not the worst. Also the hours are great, check in at 3pm and checkout at 12pm. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Hello everyone my name is Anthony me and my wife Ms Janice came to this location and received nothing but the best customer service from Ms Cassidy she was absolutely 💯 and helped me and my wife for our honeymoon we need more caring souls like her may God bless you dear.

We had to stay for a week an a couple of days. The staff an house keeping went above an beyond. Let me take a minute to high light the morning staff. They took care of prep of breakfast. Never ran out of anything always kept it clean. I am a early riser. Evening staff warm to me and my Family. Lets talk about the kitchen's everything was clean a helpful for us. Despite no ash trays very clean at all times. We even got a hug from staff when we departed.

This place is really nice! It's clean, the staff is friendly. I was able to walk to dinner, and it was very quiet, even beside the hospital. I have to admit the personalization on the TV was neat. I'm a local neighbor that needed a hotel room when my AC went out in July and the landlord wouldn't help. Grateful for the great experience!

A simply excellent stay. I had a near flawless visit. Was in town for business and stayed here for a couple of nights. The rooms are newer and clean. The kitchenette was just what I’d hoped for. The gym was 10/10: the best hotel gym I’ve ever used. Breakfast was nice, but lacked just a couple amenities (hot sauces, and no high chairs if you have kids). Will definitely be returning if work brings me back!

Stayed here in travels over holiday weekend. I found the hotel clean and comfortable. Mostly impressed with the well-stocked fitness center, and I love the individually wrapped waffles for breakfast! Location is ideal with easy access to highway. I did not bring my pup on trip but I love having a pet-friendly option. Good stay for two nights visiting family over the holidays and great value as I stayed on points at 20,000 each night. I would definitely recommend!
