Mr. James McCann was so wonderful to work with when planning my dads service. He talked me through everything over the phone because we were 3 hours away. When we arrived at Graceland East, he was there to take care of our needs and he was such a big help through everything, from the service in the chapel, to the entombment and even after everything was over, he still stayed in contact with us to see if we had any additional questions or concerns. Mr. James is such a wonderful person to work with. Our family had a wonderful experience dealing with him even in our time of sorry.

Graceland East Cemetery is a beautiful, serene, well-kept cemetery. We were very pleased with the upkeep and attention to detail that the cemetery provided.
James McCann was our contact person and he was wonderful to work with. We live about 2 1/2 hours from the cemetery and used a local funeral home. James and his staff worked with our funeral directors to provide us the upmost care and support from our home town. He also worked with us to create the grave marker and sent us templates and examples so we could create the perfect one without having to make the long trip to Greenville. I highly recommend the cemetery and Mr. James McCann.

He showed great professionalism and compassion and helped us navigate through the inevitable big corporation snags which he was able to turn in positive experiences enhanced by the fact that he always has a cup of great coffee ready!

James McCann is one of the most professional people I’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to help get Dad a final resting place, and handled all accordingly with the most patience and understanding out of any business I’ve visited. I needed to secure a spot fast as Dad had just been placed in hospice, and upon my very first visit, James was immediately able to assist without delay. He is an excellent communicator, and explained perfectly upfront how everything would go, as well as kindly offering much comforting words and a little lighthearted conversation to ease the situation. Five star service rating from me!

We purchased our crypt’s ahead of time and we had James McCann walk us through our process. James was absolutely wonderful at explaining everything to us and showing us our options. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding and just an overall wonderful person.

The Helms have gone through the most trying of times with the loss of our mother. However James McCann at Graceland East has been a God send to us. We had a very negative experience with a former memorial park owner but James restored our faith in that there can be a business service that actually cares. There were no conning tactics to manipulate emotions at our time of brokenness. Only a professional with a heart helping us to think things through to make the best decisions.
