Fantastic, clean, quiet getaway! We wanted to take some time away from the craziness of our city and enjoy some real peace and quiet. Check in was simple because the cabin is unlocked and ready for you when you arrive.

The mountain air and quiet calm of it all really helped us relax and refocus.

We will definitely be back!

Needed a break from everything and found this place. We stayed in “Mountain” cabin. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The place is just so quiet and peaceful. The cabin was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. We have been to many cabins and hotels and none of them compare to how clean this was. We had everything we needed. Bedding, towels, pots, pans, foil, toiletries, etc. just need to bring your clothes and food. The owners were so nice and helpful with anything we needed especially directions and recommendations. We plan on visiting here again…..any chance we get. Like their logo says. “Everyone needs solitude at some pointe.” And when we get to that point in life. This is the place to come. They are just minutes away from The Pretty Place Chapel, and so many hiking trails and waterfalls. Can not recommend them enough. Thank you for an amazing experience. We will be back!

My (then fiancĂ©) and I started staying at SP around 2007 while coming up from the lowcountry to hike and also look for a wedding venue. We stayed multiple times and the owners were always hospitable and the site lives up to its name- always peaceful. We eventually moved upstate and haven’t visited in about ten years but decided to have a family “staycation” now that we live a county over. It was so fun introducing our daughter to SP, and reintroducing our son who hasn’t been since he was 3. It was exactly how we remembered it- owners were wonderful, sites are clean and quiet, and everyone staying there was quiet and friendly. Lots of fun things to do within an hour’s drive or so, but it’s also a great place to simply hang out, roast marshmallows, read a book, or enjoy the hot tub.

Charming small campground with cabins also. Our cabin was luxurious with It's own hot tub. Close to many state parks and waterfalls. Minutes to Pickens and Travelers Rest, SC where there are great choices for activities and food. Fishing and hiking in the area, too. It's a beautiful mountainous area. We met some friendly snowbird campers. Lovely place. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place to stay for a getaway! Our cabin was very cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The coffee pot wasn’t working and was immediately and graciously replaced. The area is beautiful and very well maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

The Cabin was small and quaint with all the amenities you could want! Right in the middle of most of the hiking, water falls, and shopping you could want! We really enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was an added bonus that we enjoyed as well! Would recommend this nice little RV park/cabin rental and we will be back many, many times!

We spent 5 days here in our RV in October . We were able to relax and enjoy the beauty of the seasonal foliage. Wooded and private compsites, friendly hosts, clean bath houses. Close to state parks and other hiking opportunities.

Absolutely beautiful RV park! It’s quiet, peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We were escorted to our site and leveled by the host. Having a double sewer made our hookup very easy. Excellent wifi, which was extremely helpful for us as T-Mobile had no service in the area. They even had a wooded hiking trail that was a pleasure to walk the dogs.

My family and I have been on the road for several months, and Solitude Pointe is hands down our favorite RV park. It was so refreshing to be surrounded by nature. We had an amazing spot (#5) with a deck, view of a creek, and right next to the playground for our little girl to enjoy. We appreciated all of the suggestions for restaurants, sight seeing spots, and hiking in the area. We hope we can make it back for another great stay soon! <3

My wife, Jamie, and I stayed here a week ago for a long relaxing weekend to celebrate our anniversary. I had researched possible locations to stay in the area, and this looked to be the best. Great location, nice cabins, and consistently good reviews. When we arrived, we were happy to find that it was everything we expected, and more. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. We were glad we added the hot tub as it was the perfect way to relax our entire bodies after a day of hiking. The campgrounds were very clean and quiet. When we had questions about the area (places to hike, eat, etc.) the owners/staff were so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We also bought a couple nice shirts they had for sale in the office. There wasn't a single issue or concern the entire time we were there. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to the area in the future. Highly recommended!!

A cozy cabin tucked in with some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. The owner gave us tips on what to see and skip because of fall crowds. Also a nice service Sunday.

We camped at solitude pointe in 10/2022 in our 35 ft travel trailer

This is a small private campground that is impeccably maintained. We had a premium site#7 which was level ,had a concrete pad with full connections The site was wooded and we had plenty of privacy.
Owners were on site and very friendly. They even escorted us to our site and helped us back in.

The campground has surprisingly good amenities for its size with a river/creek dock, well stocked camp store, hiking trail and playground.
The location is easy to get to and there are countless places to explore all very close by. This would be a great HQ for a trip to explore Table Rock, mountain bridge wilderness area and even DuPont
Also, There are are a number of cabins that look very nice and have hot tubs.

We recently spent several days at the appropriately named Solitude Pointe and will absolutely return. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the site perfectly level and shaded, and the campground was clean and nicely located for many activities. Solitude Pointe was everything we want in a camping experience.

Had the pleasure of staying at Solitude Pointe in an adorable cabin this past weekend. The cabin came furnished with everything we could need, from linens to kitchen utensils and pots and pans. The hot tub was inviting and soothing after a long day of hiking. They really thought of everything and it made my trip even more relaxing. I can not wait to come back next year. Thanks for having us!

We loved it. Solitude Pointe is a small hidden gem by the mountain. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin is located at the midpoint between Traveler's Rest (for their great restaurants) and State Parks (for the many breathless sight seeing waterfalls).
