I've been passing this place for years. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to stop for breakfast this time! It was surprisingly very good. They even have avocado toast!
I ended up doing the regular breakfast with two eggs, bacon, toast, and hash brown casserole. The eggs were quite tasty with a generous amount of pepper. I really liked the bacon, it had a good smokey flavor. The hashbrown casserole was delicious, hot and cheesy.
We shared a fruit bowl that was quite large and super fresh tasting.
Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. And the coffee was spot on!
I will definitely be back!

Passing through the area and came across this gem. Nice menu (eggs Benedict, yes! - to die for) and terrific staff. Excellent parking. See attached photos.

Perfect little place to hole up out of the rain and cold with excellent comfort food (and some wraps for those healthy folks). Plenty of delicious homemade soup, sandwiches and homestyle fried chicken. You know it’s good when you see the locals roll in around noon. Warm, small cabin atmosphere with excellent service. Very close to the entrance to Gorges State Park on 64. Exactly what I was looking for.

I finally made it lol…This cute little restaurant is in the Toxaway area off of Rosman Highway (64).

I had called ahead as we were going to be a large party. They don’t do reservations, but they still made sure we had a table. The young lady that I spoke to on the phone prior to our visit and the same lady who sat us was so polite and easy to talk to.

They quickly asked for our beverages and not too long after we ordered.

The breakfast was so good. It came out warm and quickly after we ordered.

When we first arrived it wasn’t too busy, but when we left it sure had picked up.

They have outdoor seating(too cold today) and ample parking.

The restaurant and the bathrooms were also very clean.

We came down from Cashiers (+/- 20 min) drive. Well worth it for this tasty breakfast.

What a beautiful little country kitchen!! Had the eggs benedict w country ham. Hollandaise was amazing!! Thanks Panthertown!!

Have driven by this fine little restaurant for several years without ever going in until yesterday for breakfast...was pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of food choices... the service was spectacular and friendly...the prices are more than fair and this will now become one of my most favorite locations to go to for breakfast... I strongly suggest you consider trying the egg... sausage and cheese biscuit... a real taste treat!

We stopped for breakfast. Another quiet and calm place to get away. Nice to get away from all the noise in life, come visit the Panthertown Cafe. We had breakfast and it was just settling… highly recommend.

Great people running this place.. it's the off season so we have the place to ourselves. Food was perfect, coffee was great! Recommend and will be back.

Great spot for a late breakfast on our way home from a vacation in Cashiers. Kids loved the French toast and I really enjoyed the trailblazer.

Little pricey for breakfast, but GREAT food and locally owned.

A great cozy Cafe! The staff was lovely extremely friendly, and the service was great. Even the other guests were friendly and we had a nice conversation with them, and were even able to meet the owner! We were so grateful, this was the first time in forever that all the kids were behaved and eating their food, not running around! It was almost magical.

The food was delicious, and the views from the windows give you a full cabin in the woods feeling.

Try the wings! They are cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The fried okra was also great!

Excellent food and wonderful service. Loved the French Toast and Cheesy Potato Casserole. Nyla was an amazing server! Can’t wait to visit again.

Food was surprisingly good.
Generally these little mountain town breakfast spots are pretty shotty in the food department (because as long as it's a beautiful location, people will stop and eat regardless, so they stay in business), but this one was good.
I got the breakfast burrito and my wife got the fruit bowl and chicken mushroom soup. Burrito was good, soup was great.
Edit: staff heated up our soup early. 5 stars

Chef Sean and his staff are amazing! Everyone is so personable/friendly. I hear their pimento cheese friend chicken sandwich is delicious. I cannot wait to try it one day.
