The Falls Cafe And Grill

This was an awesome stop! First thing you notice is the amazing view of the falls! Then you're greeted with friendly service and provided a tasty meal! I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was very good. The onion rings were incredible! I'd guess they're handmade to order. I stopped in for lunch during a motorcycle ride ans I'm glad I did. I'll definitely be back!

Really cute little place! Our waitress Katie was super friendly as were the other staff. Plus their white squirrel is a doll! We ordered the Bullseye Burger, patty melt, and pork chops. Everything was awesome especially for the price! Would definitely recommend this little place!

Stopped off here for dinner while doing the tourist sites in the area - what a hidden gem! The owner and her staff was extremely friendly and we had a lovely meal - nothing particularly fancy, but there was a good selection of dishes on offer, including an excellent kids menu.

The restaurant was clean and has a lovely quaint decor; restrooms are well maintained and clean also.

Good selection of wine and beer, and there was live music setting up when we were leaving.

Parking was a bit tight; can imagine it would be difficult when busy - there aren't many spaces.

There's a great little store next-door worth checking out too with all sorts of plants and home-made craft items.

We spotted a white squirrel just outside the window behind our table - not an albino, but an actual white haired animal; I've never seen anything like it (and she fled before I could get my phone out!), but the owner told us it's a frequent visitor. Keep an eye out!

Beautiful decor, gorgeous views, amazing service and delicious food. Can't go wrong by visiting them while you're on a road trip!

Absolutely loved this place. The service was amazing, my waitress was very friendly. The view of the waterfall was beautiful as I sat out on the patio for lunch.

Very nice atmosphere and incredible view of the waterfall. The food was amazing. I had the meatloaf, which they only make on Wednesday's. The prices were good and the service was great fast and attentive.

My husband and I go there as often as we can . Love the atmosphere friendly staff and great service. They have the best burgers ever ! They are fresh grilled to perfection and love the fresh crisp salads they service as well. Really good onion rings and homemade French fries ! Only thing I’d like them to make better is their grill cheese. It needs to be made with American cheese well melted on a rye or white bread but fluffy melt thick with cheese. I ordered once was not good. I’d like to reorder if improved . You can see the owner himself takes great pride in making sure things run smoothly and checks on the customers himself to see they are happy. The waterfall in the back is fabulous to see ! This is the best lunch place . Only It’s our favorite to go to. We love the scenic short drive from Zirconia NC Well worth the trip. Wish lunch time would be till 4 pm I’ve see customers arriving at the 3 pm and disappointed to be turned away. Also love the great little shop next store ! It’s so quaint and has lovely unique things for sale .

Some of the best food I have ever had at a restaurant. The special on the chicken fried steak was not only a good deal but was delicious. Great view of the falls from our table and the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Stumbled on this place on our way home from the dragon's tail. The food was delicious. the servers were awesome. atmosphere is super inviting and relaxing. And remember always tip the servers well.

Janette is a wonderful owner who takes care of her staff and is so hospitable to all her customers. She treats everyone like family!
The live music and food on the porch makes for an incredible! Everyone is personable.

We only wish they were open more in the evenings. I used to slide down the falls as a kid so eating there brings back happy memories and why moved here permanently. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You'll gain a new family by coming here!

This was the best place we visited. The food and service was great. The manager was what made it. She was friendly and very personable. If we ever return here, we will revisit the falls Cafe and grill. Great place

We had a lovely lunch on the screened-in porch within view of the impressive Toxaway Falls. I had the delicious Black Bean Burger with fries. My companions had the Briscott Sandwich with coleslaw. We had been hiking on the Mountains to the Sea Trail, so our appetites were enhanced as well as quite satisfied.

On the drive home from Asheville this weekend we took the scenic route and stopped at several waterfalls along the way. Toxaway falls was the 4th one on the trip and we arrived early afternoon. After walking to view the falls we decided to have lunch at the Falls Cafe and Grill. Our table was on the corner of the outside deck/seating area. We could see and hear the falls from our seats. The waitress was very nice and the food was good. We had a nice lunch then back to our waterfalls.

Food was excellent!!and there isn't much more places to eat in that area so stop on if you get the chance!
