This place is AMAZING!!! Visiting from out of town and discovered this little local gem. The food is ALL made in house and taste fantastic!!! Justin is a GREAT bar tender and is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of this place!! I'm here for 5 weeks and I will eat here EVERY night!!
They have trivia on Tuesday's and music bingo on Wednesday's .

The Flats is an unassuming looking bar from the outside but the inside has everything for a great neighborhood bar.
The kitchen staff are putting out killer monthly specials. The bartenders and wait staff making you feel right at home. Loved it!

With this areas number of Chain restaurants, Nice to find a Local place. Kind of place you meet new people at the bar. Kind of place that Cares about the food they serve!

First visit to The Flat, and we'll be back. Loved the vibe as we walked in. Decor is a comfy, welcoming, upscale feel. Service was good, food was amazing, and loved the food & drink specials written on the huge chalkboard wall. Menu offers plenty of options and all very original and eclectic.

Great service, amazing food, and beer, what more could you ask for in a good local bar. I stopped in for lunch today with my husband. We both ordered burgers which in my opinion are what they do best. We grabbed some fried pickles as well, don’t let the color fool you, they are amazing. The habanero ranch is so good and packs a punch with the spice. My husband ordered The Good Habit with onion rings. He added bacon and loved it. I got the Red and Blue burger which was really good but I had a hard time finishing it just because of the spice level. So beware! This one is definitely spicy.

Service is great with one person running the bar and tables. He's super friendly and works quickly. Don't overlook the Flat, they makes some really great food.

Stopped in for dinner, service started out slow, but once Mike came over he took great care of us. The drinks and food was awesome. Had the Irish nachos and a Cuban Burger. Highly recommend this, delicious!

Awesome service and food! They have a great selection of burgers and sandwiches. Loved their pork poutine fries and chicken tenders. Definitely want go back and try their wings and drinks at the bar! 🍻

We showed up when it was incredibly packed to the point there was no parking in the parking lot. Went in and realized the bartender was acting as the entire front of the house. She was literally doing every single job up front. Bartending, serving, checking people out, getting drinks for all tables including outside, busting all the tables, etc. It looked like they had four people on the total staff and three of them were back of house. This chick was literally doing three to four people's job. Even more impressive part, we were in and out in an hour. Both burgers we got were amazing. They also have a nice craft beer and cider selection. Overall just a great experience even though you could tell they were not staffed accordingly. I really hope that Shay, the bartender that was on duty, is being paid hella good!! Even if it's crowded, it's worth a stop in!

I discovered this place a week after it opened in December of 2014. I haven’t stopped going since. It is locally owned by two friends from New York (who relocated to SC many years ago)who have spent many years in the restaurant industry. The monthly specials are always worth trying. The burgers are hand pattied and made from a blend of brisket, short rib and chuck. They are mouth watering! The wings and tacos are also great options. The fries are hand cut in house as well. This place doesn’t own a microwave so you know what you’re getting is fresh. Great selection of craft beer on tap and bartenders/servers are awesome. Definitely worth giving a try!

Oh my! Hands down the BEST burger I've had in a long time. It literally made me tear up from happiness :) The meat was so tender and juicy, and the taste was amazing. We will be back for more for sure!

Amazing bar for brunch. Probably the best prices in Greenville for a restaurant. Jeremy is an amazing bartender with customer service that is second to none! Thanks Jeremy!

The server was friendly and knew the menu items well. He was able to answer any questions about the menu items you wanted to know. The burgers were delicious and great flavor. We will be making another trip to try more.

The bartender Justin is THE BEST EVER! They also had an awesome dj for music bingo tonight! Enjoyed myself, had great drinks and the ambience was 🔥

As one of the closest eating establishments from the house, I must be truly blessed! Went in for the first time last night and was pretty blown away. I believe this will fast become my favorite place! We were waited on by Laurie the General Manager and she graciously went over the menu with us. We started off with the Irish Nachos, never had nachos served over home cut potato fries topped with house hot sauce and I am hear to tell you it was incredibly delicious! La Dona tried the monthly "special" watermelon salad with feta and mint, which was extremely good, other than the mint could have been a tad fresher. I had "The Japple" in a wrap with chicken, fresh jalapeños, granny smith apple slices, goat cheese and bacon and totally understand why this is a fan favorite! The bartender mixed perfect "old fashions" and we look forward to coming back to do brunch on Sunday! 5 stars! Highly recommend!

My son and I had dinner here to watch the SEC Championship game. I wish we had this in Atlanta. Awesome all around (food quality, people, service). We'll definitely be back.

The Flat has been one of my "go to" places for a burger for years. The Japple burger is unique, creative and DELICIOUS. We tried the wings for the first time this week, and we were not disappointed. Excellent flavor, not overpowering; meaty, filling, a great value!

This is an unexpected favorite for me in Greenville! Food is great (I'm partial to the Flat salad and fried pickles), and drink options are even better! They have every choice of liquor, fun seasonal cocktails, and great rotation of beers on tap. The vibe is standard sports bar with TVs and large bar, and it's pretty spacious and very clean (including bathrooms!). Service is also very friendly and attentive but knows when to leave you be. Always a great place to see locals and regulars. My boyfriend and I visit regularly and always bring our friends when we have a chance.
