Kingsman Restaurant

Ate here last night while in town on business. The other Google reviews were correct. This is a gem of a local restaurant and the food didn’t disappoint. We got the Rueben and beef tips and it was great!! Our server, Shelby, was super nice and provided great service. We will be back down the road sometime.

It's my local favorite burger joint that's down to earth, high quality of ingredients, beautiful restaurant aroma breathing life, not so loud, perfect for your Tuesday night dinner.

I've been going here since I was a sophomore in college at UofSC. I love it, this place is the place that made me fall in love with Pimento Cheese. I might have never experienced pimento cheese had it not for the palmetto burger on the menu! Not only that, each and every one of the side items are way above the cut with the quality and flavor intensity. The service might be a little slow, but I was treated like part of a family and it was always so homey when I visited!

My favorite burgers are the big blue [cheese] and the palmetto which has the pimento cheese. The ribeye burgers are big and meaty and the cheeses are so sharp in their flavor. You know how a burger might have a boring taste? Just barely the scent of the meat and the stale vegetables with a stereotypical bun? You will not get that here. I could definitely isolate and appreciate each ingredient between the two brioche buns. Very high detail each and every time forces me to admire their original recipe QC.

Come on down, enjoy some of their burgers, and enjoy Americana.

Kingsman is a local's restaurant, which delivers good food at a good value. The front of the restaurant is a eat at bar and as you enter and go left there are two adjacent rooms with additional seating. The atmosphere is warm, albeit, a little dated. The service is largely good, attentive, and kind. The food is mostly Americana staples such as wings, burgers, steaks, and sandwiches. Overall, the experience is pleasant and casual. The only downside is if there is a wait, you are mostly kept outside because there is insufficient space inside to wait.

Good music, huge portions, good food, and great prices. Excellent service as well.

Edit to my past post. Took a friend there who had never been before. It was busy...which we can forgive. But...waitress didn't come to us for at least 15 min. Then another 10ish to get drinks. Our friends waited way past that to get refills since they had been there before us. Had to repeat my rather simple lunch request 3 times. My food was great. My new friend said hers was horrible. Wanted blackened chicken and got grilled with no seasoning. It was a terrible experience for her. Then....the bathroom. My gosh.....yuck. pee on floor. Pee on toilet. Get better. At least for me.

This place is awesome!!! The Bacon Bleu Burger is absolutely delicious! The service was good despite them being very busy, and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

This is my new favorite restaurant in Cayce. They have a good menu and everything comes out tasting fresh. Thankful to have such a good local restaurant near bye.

On our way home from Savannah, GA to NC, we started researching Hamburger places near us. The ribeye burgers caught our eyes. When we pulled in, we didn't think they had anywhere to sit but we had already decided we would sit in the parking lot and eat. Well, they do have a dining area to the side. You walk in on the kitchen area.
OMG!!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! I had a hard time choosing but wound up picking the bacon Bleu burger amd onion rings. My son got the throne burger. I didn't get a picture before I chowed down because it looked amd smelled so good.
If you are ever that way, stop!! You won't be disappointed. Everyone in there was so nice too! We will definitely be making a 2 hour trip from NC back down just to eat. See ya again soon!

Had the corned beef Reuben (pastrami) and it was bussing to say the least. This place is probably the best spot in Cayce SC and in the top 3 in the Columbia Metro area (my opinion) as far as casual dining. Shot out to William Marshall and staff, they’re always attentive, helpful and kind. I highly recommend!!!

Fast courteous service, GREAT food and moderate prices. A+. Service is fast, food cooked to perfection. For casual dining go before or after the lunch rush. We went at 2:30pm on a Thursday. “Strips & Tips” is my all time favorite. Been going there since 2006. Our relatives in NC will make up a reason to visit just to go to the Kingsman.

Great food served quick and fresh. Sit at the bar up front and watch the grill master make it look easy. However, be prepared for food envy lol

Had the ribeye burger that was cooked to perfection. Really crowded with a wait, but was a Saturday night. Well worth the wait.

I hadn't been here in awhile. It was packed, but the servers who were serving, and busting tables where doing their best. I ordered the Salmon which was outstanding but was a smaller than average size. I casually joked about the size to the server, and went on with my meal. A short time later our server brought me a new plate with a proper 6oz Salmon which again was delicious. Service was as good as to be expected, and the extra care for a customer was very unexpected but much appreciated.

Great customer service from Tammy and amazingly delicious food for a great price.

Great first time visit!

This place was recommended to us by a long time resident of Cola. We went on a busy Thursday night, but a table was open in their front entrance where the grill is, so we took that spot. Definitely has a “dive”-like feel and prices (considering the mainly steak fare), but sometimes I want that more causal/diner like atmosphere. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic while handling us, a few counter customers and all of the many to-go orders and checking out patrons.

My husband got the ribeye dinner and I got the ribeye hoagie. Although I’ve never had a ribeye hoagie before, I’ve been scouring the city for hoagie similar to the ones in the Mid-Atlantic region where I’m from. This so, so hit the spot. It was literally a small ribeye steak on a crusty hoagie roll with the classic lettuce, onions, tomato, Mayo. Perfection.

My husband said his steak was also quite good for the price/establishment tier. The ranch that he got on his salad was also delicious.

The only downside is that our waitress was explaining to us that ever since Covid, they’ve had to resort to crinkle fries (which I despise) in lieu of more traditional (aka: edible) fries. So my husband got a baked potato and I got onion rings as my side instead. Hopefully, they’ll be able to offer regular fries again in the future.

Overall, a fantastic recommendation to us and clearly extremely popular in town. Will most certainly be returning.

The best restaurant in Cayce. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu but the burgers, fried porkchops, hand breaded chicken tenders and philly cheese steaks are all awesome! The staff are like family!

Gotta kings throne burger and I could only eat a third. It’s huge. And amazing. And good. Wife got the ribeye. Cooked perfectly. Hey thank y’all. I loved it. Will be back again. She couldn’t finish it either it’s a large portion! Love it!!

I recently dined at Kingsman Restaurant in Parkland Plaza, Cayce, and it's a true hidden gem with free parking. As you enter, the grill area sets the stage, and we chose to sit there, being restaurant enthusiasts. The staff, including our exceptional server, made our experience enjoyable, engaging us in delightful conversations. Now, let's talk about the food! I was recommended the ribeye burger and opted for the Kings Throne variant, minus jalapenos and onions, topped with white cheddar - it was an absolute delight. The homemade onion rings were perfection. Notably, they craft everything in-house, even the salad dressings! The menu offers an impressive array of appetizers, salads, wings, tenders, and well-priced dinners. A rare find was the liver and onions, a dish I'll certainly return for. From sandwiches to hot dogs and a dedicated kids' menu, the options are diverse. Kingsman Restaurant has earned a spot in my 'best burger' collection. Highly recommend returning for a memorable dining experience!
